24/08/2025: Excellent pizzeria...the dough is delicious for those with gluten intolerances. The cecina, in various versions, is definitely worth trying.
21/08/2025: This is where they serve thicker pan pizzas (also gluten-free).
We had the Pizza Gran Varignano and Burrata Pesto e Basilico. It turned out to be a good choice.
The Cecina is a recommended appetizer. It's a kind of pizza slice with a French toast and pancake flavor.

22/10/2025: Our first experience during the Covid period was recommended by friends, offering takeout. Since then, we've tried several dishes: baked fish with potatoes, salt-baked fish, cockerel al mattone, and a special (Livorno-style cod) that can be ordered the day before. All dishes are expertly prepared with expertise and skill. Excellent value for money.
08/09/2025: A pleasant place to spend an evening, the food is excellent and the service very helpful and friendly, I recommend it to everyone!

09/11/2025: This cute reataurant is tucked in a little courtyard with a cheerful lemon theme. The food is solid, the service friendly. We were there for lunch, most tables were populated by tourists.
03/11/2025: Starting with the positives, the place is beautiful and quaint.
Now, getting to the point, I arrived at 10:20 PM. After being seated, they handed me the menu and I asked only for tagliolini with truffle. They told me they'd run out of truffle. So, I asked for salmon gnocchi. Nothing, they'd run out of salmon too. At this point, a little annoyed, I ordered a Margherita pizza, the simplest thing on the menu. Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant pizza.
I understand that a kitchen might close rather early, but here I was taken for a ride. I won't add anything else.

25/09/2025: This is a delightful roadside restaurant with excellent food. The staff were lovely and welcoming to my wife and I, even though we didn't have reservations and it was later in the evening. Though we were in the mood for just pizza and wine, La Rosa does offer a full menu. The pizza was excellent, with thin crust that had a crisp bottom and some char at the edges, and the menu offered more varieties and combinations of toppings than perhaps any restaurant we have visited in Rome and Tuscany over a two week holiday. This simple meal of pizza and wine turned out to be one of our favorite nights of the trip due to the kind staff, relaxed local atmosphere, and great pizza. Grazie!

19/10/2025: The tavern is mainly meat-based rather than fish-based, although you can also find some interesting fish dishes. In the meantime, make a reservation, otherwise you have to wait for a table to become available. Also, because it's always full, the atmosphere is a bit noisy. The Gran Antipasto Toscano was good, I would only have put 2 more slices of prosciutto crudo and mortadella (there were only 2 slices per slice), while there were 4 slices of salami. Apart from this, there were Coccoli (fried pizza bites) / crostini with mushrooms / crostini with chicken livers (the pâté should have been cooked more) / pappa al pomodoro / I had the stracchino added to the rest. The first courses are the best: pappardelle with wild boar with dark chocolate flakes and tortelli filled with leeks, on a pumpkin cream. A seasonal dish, which I hope to try again. The mixed grill: lamb ribs (good, but still too much fatty) sausage (cook it more, because it was pink inside) chicken and baked potatoes (these must be softer inside, not boiled) .. cheek (a little dry) with mashed potatoes (it was a bit sticky, mash the potatoes, don't use the mixer) .. you can see that the chef is young, because there are some things that could have turned out better, but even if the experience is lacking, the passion is there and you can always improve.. the extra virgin olive oil is exceptional.. put it on all the dishes..
18/08/2025: Good dinner, friendly staff. Pici with Chianina ragù was remarkable.
