12/07/2025: MeryAnna is a good restaurant serving simple, authentic dishes. We ordered an appetizer of cured meats and crostini. The cured meats were good and tasty, and perhaps they could have added a little more cheese. The first courses were very tasty and plentiful. The penne alla pecora and pici all'aglione were plentiful and very good. The service was attentive but not overwhelming. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

01/09/2025: A very rustic restaurant located in the province of Pisa, near Navacchio, a hamlet of Cascina. The restaurant is located inland from the main road connecting Pisa and Cascina. It's certainly a restaurant with twenty years of history, very rustic and traditional, with a distinctive look. The staff is all very courteous and helpful, with a good amount of experience. Here you can enjoy both grilled meat and fish, as well as wood-fired pizza. Prices are fairly average, except for a few dishes that, in my opinion, are overpriced. We ate well, the service was quick, and the staff was very friendly.

14/08/2025: We were recommended by the manager of the Hotel Sextum because we arrived late and many restaurants were closed. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were very pleasantly surprised: impeccable service and very accommodating, considering we don't speak Italian. All our dishes were very good and full of flavor, and excellent value for money. We're very happy to be off the Livorno-Florence tourist route!

04/08/2025: Excellent La Golosa pizza, with a wide selection of options and prices, excellent red double malt beer, and excellent value for money. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff, quick ordering and preparation times. The place is clean and well-maintained. Reservations were made by phone a week in advance. The place was fully booked, and even though dinner was on a Tuesday, there's both indoor and outdoor dining available. I'll definitely be back.

The kitchen does not seem to be their strong point, we ate first courses based on fish, made to their imagination or according to what was available, never eaten such disappointing spaghetti with seafood. The waiter who acted stupid..

21/09/2025: Awesome pizza, a pleasant discovery! I've had the pleasure of trying takeout pizza from Pizzeria Il Veliero several times, and I must say it's always been an excellent experience. The pizza is truly delicious; you can clearly taste the care taken in selecting and using high-quality ingredients. So far, I've always had a great experience with takeout, but the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff has proven to be friendly and polite. This piqued my interest, and I can't wait to try their seafood, too. I'll definitely be back for a full sit-down dinner.

12/10/2025: One of the best pizzas by the slice in Cecina. It's not exactly outstanding, but it's at least decent compared to the others. Good value. The only downside is that it only opens in the afternoon from 4:00 PM. Those who are hungry should get there first.

03/07/2025: Highly recommended! Welcoming place, a stone's throw from the center. Helpful and competent staff. Exceptional pinsa and tonda romana, light and with high quality raw materials. An excellent dinner, definitely worth repeating!

16/08/2025: An evening with friends, we had a great time. The food was good and the portions were even too large. The service was good, thanks to the kindness of the staff. The only major flaw was the lack of air conditioning, and eating in the heat that evening was unbearable. The place was very dark due to the decor.
