03/10/2025: Fantastic pizza! Worth a visit. I went back yesterday after six years. The pizza is still delicious. We also tried the carbonara, which was amazing. The house white wine was perfect. Very friendly service. When in Volterra, be sure to stop by for a bite to eat :)

03/09/2025: From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once inside, it more than makes up for it. The pizza was very tasty, but the seafood spaghetti was worth a solid 10 stars. "Grandma" is a very good and flavorful cook. So, I'll go there again to try out the rest. I'm already looking forward to it.

07/06/2025: Friendly staff, delicious pizza, easy-going atmosphere, and fair prices. We were the only non-local guests at the time, which speaks even more for the place. Highly recommended!

08/10/2025: The pizza tasted like store bought. We were very disappointed.

28/08/2025: A small pizzeria located on the main alley in the center of Pietrasanta. Cute and harmonious atmosphere. The food is mediocre across the board, both in terms of the savory portions and the size: the breakfast pastries are frozen (and tiny). The coffee is very poor, pitch black and bitter. Prices are average, considering the expensive neighborhood. The staff is friendly and helpful.

28/08/2025: I was with some friends, and we all raved about the dishes they served. I had FABULOUS spaghetti with clams, and a pistachio dessert that was equally delicious. We'll be back from Pisa.

20/10/2025: A very family setting with late dining. The decor is classic but cozy and welcoming. We ordered mussels in wine sauce, fresh and delicious. The Porcini and Salamino pizza was great. They cut up for us to share, very nice touch, fresh ingredients, delicious crust. Loved it. All desserts were homemade so we tried Tiramisu was divine. Highly recommend this place. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

20/09/2025: The WORST gluten-free pizza I've ever had. Burnt on the top and edges, raw on the bottom and inside. I didn't eat it; I would have definitely felt sick. Don't go there. "Chez Ugo" is a good gluten-free pizza in Livorno.

12/08/2025: Pizza from Giuseppina and Dino is a guarantee, thin, crispy and made in a wood-fired oven and well-seasoned with excellent products.

08/08/2025: due passi avanti e quattro indietro. Prima si mangiava meglio adesso è più scadente e meno curata nei particolari la pizza. Deludente e scarno l'ambiente, poco intimo, molto sciatto. Non è di casa la pulizia e l'attenzione, il servizio lascia a desiderare e la cortesia non è prorio di casa qui. E, poi, i prezzi sono molto alti.

20/10/2025: Excellent beach restaurant: helpful and fast service, delicious food (we tried seafood pasta, pizza, black risotto and swordfish) and a pleasant evening atmosphere. They took into account our milk allergy and had high chairs, so both our children enjoyed their dinner too.

12/10/2025: We went to Cecio tonight and, as always, the pizza was very good, with high-quality ingredients and many different flavors with truly tasty pairings. Then tonight, they had the winter menu, which consisted of 5/6 pizzas inspired by autumn and winter. (At a discounted price of €9, by the way.) In short, don't listen to the negative reviews; the pizzas are excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the wait times are normal (it was packed tonight, but we didn't wait long). From my point of view, there's only one slight disappointment: the noisy dining room. The atmosphere is very nice, but unfortunately, it's noisy. Regarding prices, true, there are pizzas for €16, but we all go grocery shopping, and there's a huge difference between the smart products and the branded ones, both in taste and price. It's the same here: if you want certain ingredients on your pizza, they cost money. So I don't understand the controversy in some of the comments.

27/09/2025: I must have been unlucky, but the pizza I ate the other day didn't seem exceptional. The waitress was friendly, but the dining room was a bit noisy.

20/08/2025: The pizza by the meter and beer are very good. The place isn't air conditioned.

16/08/2025: An evening with friends, we had a great time. The food was good and the portions were even too large. The service was good, thanks to the kindness of the staff. The only major flaw was the lack of air conditioning, and eating in the heat that evening was unbearable. The place was very dark due to the decor.

15/10/2025: Unfortunately, a bad experience. We came for a quick bite to eat. We ordered a plate of antipasti, which was okay (you can't go wrong with that) and chicken with potatoes. After 2 minutes (!?), the entire order was served: the chicken and potatoes were carelessly served, completely shriveled, and almost cold. I returned it because it was obviously not fresh. The waiter/owner(?) tried to convince me it was fresh – but he himself said he kept it warm in the oven for two hours!? In a restaurant, I expect the food to be freshly prepared to my order. If kept-warm food is sold, this must be communicated in advance (!). They took the food back but ignored me afterward. A professional restaurateur would have asked if they could offer something else. The chicken wasn't charged (at least it wasn't on the receipt) – but €18 for a small plate of antipasti, 1.5 liters of water, a large beer, and a small Estathe iced tea (served in a plastic cup with a dusty straw) is definitely not worth the money. I also doubt the hygiene standards in their kitchen. Not recommended!

07/10/2025: Nice ambient, very kind host, low prices and moat important great local food. Nothing fancy, just real domestic tasty local food.

20/10/2025: Dinner with my wife, we ordered two plates of tortelli with meat sauce, both satisfying, a pork shank with fries, a dish so large we ate it for two and truly delicious, as were the fries, a medium draft beer and a small, excellent quality beer, and a coffee to finish the meal. All for less than forty euros, unbelievable. I forgot to mention that to pass the time for the first course, they bring a bag of piping hot schiacciata pieces. The staff is very professional and courteous.

26/09/2025: Best brewery in Casentino (and beyond), wide selection of beers. Menu featuring local ingredients, combining quantity and great quality. Vegetarian menu available. You can't miss this place!!! Friendly, courteous, and professional staff.

23/09/2025: The pizza was delicious and plentiful. The first courses weren't particularly generous, and we recommend sticking to the à la carte menu. If you vary something, you'll be a bit disappointed. Spaghetti with clams and bottarga. We asked to remove the bottarga, and the chef brought us spaghetti with clams without even a sprinkling of parsley and garlic. I understand that we modified the dish, but the foresight to complete it in a different way was lacking. Excellent place, I recommend it.
