06/05/2026: Wonderful place for lunch on a rainy day. We sat inside by the pizza station - the pizza chef was a happy woman and quite busy. Friendly staff and efficient service. About 15 minutes wait for two freshly-prepared, piping-hot excellent pizzas. About €10 each washed down with 0.5l of house Red for €10. Nice Americano to finish. Happy customers. Thank you.

01/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant, having wandered down an alleyway into a courtyard surrounded by lemon trees and shaded for me and sunny for Val. We drank some nice spritzers and some red wine and ate very good pizza. The majority of people eating here were Italian so authentic is the word! I would come back. In fact next time I come to Lucca I will come back

24/05/2026: We had a pizza, one of the tasty options, very good and unique. Our only concern was that it arrived lukewarm, not hot. But I understand the reasoning behind the addition of unbaked ingredients. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We'll be back.

27/04/2026: A night out with friends. The atmosphere could use a makeover, and the pizza was average. Service was slow, but it was a Saturday and there were people there, but the waiter was very friendly and made the evening a success. Parking in the area was very difficult to find.

13/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had dinner at I Treccanti wine bar and restaurant, and the experience was truly excellent. The place immediately strikes you with its welcoming and refined atmosphere, with a beautiful stone interior that creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing evening. We ordered the pork shank, which was simply extraordinary: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The other meat dishes also proved to be of excellent quality, a sign of great attention to the raw materials. The selection of drinks and cocktails was also very popular, prepared by skilled and creative bartenders, capable of creating truly excellent drinks. A special thanks goes to Martina, the owner, who is truly charming, welcoming, and always available, making the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. In conclusion, I Treccanti is one of the best places in La Spezia: a place where you can eat well, drink even better, and enjoy an authentic and relaxed atmosphere. Kudos to the entire staff for their courtesy, professionalism, and passion, evident in every detail.

06/05/2026: Very nice place on a rainy day. The pizzas were delicious. I had to get my own olive oil, but when you add a little olive oil to the pizza, it becomes - mama mia. The only remark - when you eat a little, they try to tell you that it's time to go, not to linger too long, which is annoying. But everything else was very good.

01/05/2026: The food was good and the wine was suggested well by staff (although I later found out that having wine with Pizza was wasn't typical for Italians!) The service was fair, the staff were reasonably attentive. They did a good job of helping us select food and drink. Atmosphere was nice! We sat outside but it wasn't tight like many of the places you can eat outside in Volterra. So you didn't feel cramped while you dine.

The antipasto platter was very expensive for what you get, the Pizza Diavola was okay, the Capricciosa rather tasteless and sadly one of the worst of our Tuscany trip – but that's a matter of taste, of course.

30/04/2026: The rating isn't for the quality of the food (very good pizzas), but for the reliability (0). Two home delivery orders placed in the last two months. In both cases, we never received the delivery. In the first case, they canceled the order after an hour's delay; in the second case (today), we canceled it ourselves after almost an hour and a half of waiting. This isn't how it's done.

The view, the pici alla cinta senese, the house wine... everything is always perfect for an evening immersed in the magic of the Maremma. 14/05/2026: Go for an excellent, low-alcohol aperitif, perfect, and accompanied by a tray! €7 for a top Hugo. Very fast service. The waiters, however, asked us four times in a row in the space of 15 minutes if we wanted anything else... We felt uncomfortable... My friend didn't finish her drink, and we left. There were other diners and many empty tables. So I don't see the rush to kick us out. Obviously, we won't be back. Too bad.
