21/11/2025: The pizza was very light and flavorful. Above all, the owner was friendly, the bathroom was clean, and there was no separate table charge. It felt like a long-standing neighborhood restaurant. When I eat food in Italy, I often think it's incredibly salty. This pizza place, even for my usually bland palate, felt almost underseasoned, and the taste was bland. Even after it cooled, it wasn't salty at all. It was light and flavorful, and I didn't get tired of it even after a long time.

03/10/2025: Everything was excellent. They treated us incredibly well and made us feel at home. The food was delicious, and they were very entertaining and attentive. Thank you so much for everything. I definitely recommend the sun-dried tomato pizza; in my opinion, it's one of the best.

13/08/2025: A huge selection of pizzas; it easily takes 10 minutes to browse through them all ;-) The atmosphere is a bit chilly, but the service is excellent; the friendly girl serves all the tables at a breathtaking pace, bravissimo. The pizzas were also very tasty, but the crust is very hard/crispy. If that doesn't bother you, stop by and work your way through the pizza menu ;-)

03/08/2025: First time, 5 trays of mega pizzas and they were so kind to make us a lot of different flavors, both white and red very good and well seasoned, very punctual, and very good and honest prices!

08/06/2025: New environment, you can see it, very nice, kind and skilled staff. We took fish for 3 people, generous and delicious portions, with a good presentation. Just one note: you have to use less salt, and be careful not to over-salt the sauce, otherwise it turns out to be excessively salty. I love tasty food, but for my (elderly) it was too salty. Better to bring salt to the table instead. It is still a restaurant where we will gladly return when passing through Grosseto.

29/05/2025: Intimate, well-decorated, and spotlessly clean atmosphere. Excellent food, incredibly fresh fish, perfect portions, and dishes prepared with attention to every detail. Highly recommended!

15/11/2025: We went for lunch last Saturday: fresh fish, all the dishes were delicious, especially the maltagliati with pumpkin cream, walnuts, and shrimp. The staff was friendly and super patient with our one-year-old...we'll definitely be back.

09/11/2025: It's always a pleasure to go to this restaurant. The food is excellent, and the quality of the ingredients is also excellent. Today, a super nice and kind woman served us! The desserts are homemade. Also noteworthy is the non-alcoholic beer on the menu; I'm breastfeeding and found it to be an added treat!

09/11/2025: Gli Orti di Via Elisa is one of those places you return to and think, "Thank goodness it exists." The menu changes but remains consistently interesting: carefully crafted dishes, seasonal ingredients, and never boring pairings. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously curated, often with details or decor that recall the seasons or local events, a sign that there's genuine attention here, not just marketing. The staff is always friendly and attentive, never intrusive. And what's rare: for those who don't eat animals, there's always an excellent selection of vegetarian or vegan dishes, thoughtfully crafted and not just a "sad alternative." In short: you eat well, you feel good, and you always leave feeling like you've made the right choice.

29/09/2025: In my very humble opinion, after five years of coming to Giglio and Cantine Aperte, I confirm my preference for this restaurant. It's small, fortunately not suited to noisy, convivial tables. The attention to detail in the dishes and the quality of the ingredients are top-notch, starting with the olive oil. I recommend it to anyone who wants to taste the sea and appreciates the restaurant's delicacy. Will I return to Giglio? Maybe, but I'll definitely book this restaurant!

13/10/2025: Dinner with friends; they seated us inside because the outdoor area was full. The place smelled of fried food, so we left smelling awful. We had an appetizer and a pizza, both good. Terrible service, and the waitress had little experience, which I hope she'll gain. When we ordered coffee, they even brought us the bill without anyone asking for it. It almost felt like they were trying to kick us out. We went to the cashier to pay our portions, and in total, we were charged more than what was written on the bill. We reported this to the cashier, and the owner arrogantly approached us, telling us they'd made a mistake in the bill. Instead of apologizing for their mistake, he accused us of what we'd noticed, even though he knew we were completely wrong. Finally, he told us not to come back. Of course, we responded politely, telling him he couldn't worry, because we definitely won't be returning to a place that treats customers like this!!! Crazy stuff. Aside from the food, the rest of the experience was terrible!

13/10/2025: 1 star, they treat foreigners poorly, dirty cutlery. We only stayed one day and gave it a 0/10 rating. The pizza was cold. They speak badly of foreigners because they don't understand them. They moved us near dirty, smelly water. Not recommended.

27/09/2025: Good food at this resort, friendly service, the menu is bilingual, the pizza and guinea fowl were good, the dessert was less impressive, but the wine and grappa were very good. There's no drinks menu beyond the extensive wine list. Very reasonable prices.

05/10/2025: Our recent dining experience at Porto Di Mare in Livorno was nothing short of extraordinary—a true culinary highlight that we will not forget. From the moment we stepped inside, we were treated to a refined yet welcoming atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for the incredible meal to come. The focus on fresh, high-quality seafood is evident in every dish, and the preparations are executed with remarkable skill. To start, the Italian oysters (can't remember the Italian name, but the ones in the photo) were spectacular. They were incredibly fresh, plump, and clean-tasting, presenting a beautiful briny essence that was the perfect opener. For the main course, I indulged in the tuna steak, and it was simply sublime. Prepared to perfection, the exterior had a beautiful sear while the inside was gorgeously pink and tender, melting in my mouth. It was clear that this was a top-grade cut of fish, handled with the respect it deserved. My son had the stuffed calamari and my wife fried sea fruits. They were great, but the tuna steak is highly recommended. To cap off the evening, the dessert—a Fondant—was the ideal conclusion. Rich, decadent, and executed flawlessly with a warm, gooey center, it was a comforting and sophisticated finish to a magnificent meal. Finally, a special thank you must go to our waiter, Antonella. Her service was the epitome of professionalism and warmth. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and helped make our dinner feel effortless and truly special. Porto Di Mare isn't just a restaurant; it's a destination for anyone seeking an authentic, high-end Italian seafood experience. 13/10/2025: Disappointing experience We booked through the number provided, which sent a link on WhatsApp to complete the reservation. Everything seemed perfect: I received the official confirmation and even a reminder message the same day. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. We tried to contact the number provided, but it was either non-existent or deactivated, making it impossible to get information or assistance. The situation was extremely difficult for us: there were six of us, with two small children, in Procchio, where there were no other restaurants open that evening. A disappointing and unprofessional experience. The reservation system should be managed with greater care and reliability.
