09/11/2025: A wonderful experience! We had dinner at this restaurant while we were in Pisa City Center. Let me start by saying that the location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the train station and easily accessible on foot. We ate wonderfully, ordering a first course each and a Florentine steak weighing over 1kg each. The first courses of the day were delicious and plentiful, as was the meat. The service was also excellent; the waiter who served us was extremely helpful and polite. At the end of the dinner, they offered us a homemade amaro and a croissant with cream and Nutella. They also left us a tower full of heart-shaped lollipops and sweets. As if that weren't enough, when we had to pay, the owner (also very kind) gave us a discount on the total (and literally ended up giving us the wine we had ordered). What can I say? One of the best experiences I've ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The pizzeria is located near a crossroads, close to the main road called Aurelia, which connects Pisa to San Rossore and then continues to Madonna dell'Acqua, towards Viareggio. The pizzeria is well-known in the area, with a history of over 20 years, as far as I can tell, but it's certainly a few years older: renovated and modernized a few years ago, it has a small main room, where the main entrance is located, as well as another larger room with a veranda, very beautiful and welcoming. The place is very well-kept, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff is all very friendly and helpful. The pizza menu is varied, and the oven is strictly wood-fired, as per tradition. The pizzas are very good, well-prepared, and made with top-quality ingredients. The prices are a little lower than average, a plus! Reservations are highly recommended because they are very busy, especially with takeaway pizzas!

05/10/2025: Our recent dining experience at Porto Di Mare in Livorno was nothing short of extraordinary—a true culinary highlight that we will not forget. From the moment we stepped inside, we were treated to a refined yet welcoming atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for the incredible meal to come. The focus on fresh, high-quality seafood is evident in every dish, and the preparations are executed with remarkable skill. To start, the Italian oysters (can't remember the Italian name, but the ones in the photo) were spectacular. They were incredibly fresh, plump, and clean-tasting, presenting a beautiful briny essence that was the perfect opener. For the main course, I indulged in the tuna steak, and it was simply sublime. Prepared to perfection, the exterior had a beautiful sear while the inside was gorgeously pink and tender, melting in my mouth. It was clear that this was a top-grade cut of fish, handled with the respect it deserved. My son had the stuffed calamari and my wife fried sea fruits. They were great, but the tuna steak is highly recommended. To cap off the evening, the dessert—a Fondant—was the ideal conclusion. Rich, decadent, and executed flawlessly with a warm, gooey center, it was a comforting and sophisticated finish to a magnificent meal. Finally, a special thank you must go to our waiter, Antonella. Her service was the epitome of professionalism and warmth. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and helped make our dinner feel effortless and truly special. Porto Di Mare isn't just a restaurant; it's a destination for anyone seeking an authentic, high-end Italian seafood experience. 13/09/2025: Great value for money (everything is a bit dated, but absolutely fine), great pool, beautiful view. There's a tennis court, a soccer field, a playground, two pools, and a restaurant. The pool bar is also very good. All in all, it's simply fantastic, especially with children.

08/06/2025: New environment, you can see it, very nice, kind and skilled staff. We took fish for 3 people, generous and delicious portions, with a good presentation. Just one note: you have to use less salt, and be careful not to over-salt the sauce, otherwise it turns out to be excessively salty. I love tasty food, but for my (elderly) it was too salty. Better to bring salt to the table instead. It is still a restaurant where we will gladly return when passing through Grosseto.

30/09/2025: I've been to Pizzeria L'Oliva and can only leave a positive review. It's my favorite pizza! The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, and what immediately strikes you is the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff: always smiling, attentive, and ready to offer expert advice. The pizza is excellent, with quality ingredients and a light, digestible dough. The extra point, however, undoubtedly goes to the Cecina, which is truly special: flavorful, well-cooked, and with that irresistible texture. A place that exudes passion for good food! Definitely worth recommending and returning to! 🍕✨
