26/07/2026: Finding a place where you can eat excellently is fantastic, but finding a place where the hospitality and courtesy are unparalleled really makes all the difference. At Sicilia Nostra in Carlentini, we were greeted with extraordinary kindness. What I appreciated most of all was the treatment given to my dog: the waiters were wonderful, very accommodating, and even tried to play with him to make him feel comfortable. Even though we always leave prepared, the staff had the thoughtfulness and kindness to immediately bring us a bowl of water, then asking if we needed more. A rare gesture of thoughtfulness that demonstrates great professionalism and sensitivity. Moving on to the food: the pizza was excellent, without a doubt among the best I've eaten in the last year! Perfect dough and quality ingredients. It was truly a wonderful discovery and will definitely become a regular spot for us. We'll be back very soon! Highly recommended!

26/07/2026: Four of us had dinner, ordering two fried fish dishes and four fish-based first courses. The food was good, but for the price, I expected more. The fried dish, consisting of a bed of lettuce leaves, a lemon wedge, two squid rings and two tentacles, two shrimp, and four battered vegetables, costing €22 a plate, is unacceptable. The first courses were good, with just the right amount of pasta, but lacking in fish. Basically, you pay for the fish and smell it. 11/08/2026: A truly perfect evening in Noto! My wife and I agree: we've never eaten such exceptionally good pizza. The pizza dough, in particular, was something special – incredibly aromatic, airy, and yet wonderfully crispy. We learned upon inquiry that the dough rests for a full 70 hours. You can taste this passion and care in every single bite! The service was also warm, attentive, and exceptionally child-friendly. Our children were immediately given something to color and felt very comfortable. To finish, we had a tiramisu that was just as exceptionally delicious as the pizzas. An evening we will certainly never forget. For us, an absolute culinary highlight in Noto and an unqualified recommendation! We would come back anytime. No matter how many times you've eaten pizza before, try the pizza here. That's what we say, as we ate pizza every single day during our vacation.

02/05/2026: The best restaurant in Taormina, with exceptionally friendly service, a homey atmosphere, delicious food, and fresh fish—not so easy to find on this island. We're going back tomorrow. Plus, the view of Mount Etna—wonderful! I hope there are more places like this!

12/07/2026: A strange salad, but the risotto was delicious. The service was good, and a big advantage is that the restaurant is open during hours when most other places are already closed.

21/07/2026: Seafood dinner: everything fresh and perfectly prepared. There were four of us, and we ordered four house appetizers, two first courses, and a mixed fried fish dish to share. The atmosphere was comfortable and breezy. The service was welcoming, everyone was friendly, and we felt right at home.

12/07/2026: Nice place with a great location, excellent quality food even if we waited a full half an hour for 4 pizzas with the place empty, another negative flaw is the cost of the cover charge, which is €3 per person... it seems excessive to me.

14/08/2026: Galvanized by the good reviews on TripAdvisor, we happily went to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the disappointment was swift. The complimentary bread rolls, covered in oil, were tasteless. Then the main courses we received were even worse: a salad with cucumbers that tasted like soap. We pointed this out to the waitress, who said it was normal, they had been picked too early, without changing the dish or doing anything else. The pasta alla Norma was simply pasta in tomato sauce with some bland eggplant mush, tasteless. The plates were almost all full when she collected them, and she didn't ask why we were the only ones in the restaurant. In short, the only redeeming feature was the bottled water, which was refreshing. I've rarely had such bad food in Sicily in the fifteen or so years I've been coming here non-stop.

14/08/2026: Quiet and pleasant place. Very friendly staff. Excellent food. The macaroni, caserecce, roast pork, and veal stew are delicious. Highly recommended.

22/07/2026: Our Airbnb host recommended this restaurant to us – and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent, especially the Zuppa di Cozze, which was simply delicious. We also really enjoyed the other dishes. The location is beautiful, and the atmosphere is truly unique and cozy. A great place to spend a relaxing evening with good food. We'll definitely be back!

21/07/2026: If I could give the service and atmosphere a zero, I wouldn't hesitate: I've never felt so uncomfortable or been treated with such disrespect. We came as a family, and the restaurant wasn't very full. My first impression was very mixed, as the waitresses were extremely cold and unfriendly. We were then asked what we wanted to drink, and I think that's where everything changed: given the heat, we "just" asked for water and a beer. Apparently, that wasn't expensive or pretentious enough, and from then on, we were treated like country bumpkins. The waitress then disdainfully threw a small card with a QR code onto the table, announcing that it was the menu. There were six of us, seated around a huge table, having to pass the card around to scan the code (which isn't user-friendly; my 80-year-old in-laws were among them and couldn't figure it out). The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including pizzas. We opted for the latter (not because of the price, but simply because we felt like it!). Meanwhile, the restaurant filled up: imagine my surprise when I saw that not only were the other tables (which arrived after us) being served while we were still waiting, but all of them had baskets of bread and breadsticks to tide us over… except ours?! When our pizzas finally arrived, one was missing… perhaps they'd forgotten it, preferring to focus on the higher-spending customers? I've never felt so belittled as I did at this restaurant, based on my choice of dish: if pizzas aren't profitable enough, they don't offer them on the menu...? In the end, we skipped dessert, preferring to go home rather than prolong an evening in a place where we clearly weren't good enough to stay. Besides, our four-year-old daughter was with us and was exhausted. It's also worth noting that there wasn't a children's menu, unlike other restaurants we've visited. Not all children want to eat a pizza the size of an adult's, and they aren't fond of cutlets. It's a real shame, because the pizza (mine, at least) was really good. However, if you're looking for a welcoming place where all customers are treated with the same friendliness, I'd advise you to look elsewhere.

The location is stunning, meticulously designed, and perfect for making such an important day special. The lunch was excellent: delicious dishes, beautifully presented, and prepared with quality ingredients. The staff was professional, kind, and always available, making us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the day. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for helping make our daughter's baptism a wonderful memory. We also received so many compliments from our guests.
