07/03/2026: Sicilian steakhouse, with aged meats for the most discerning palates, but also plenty of local meats cooked according to tradition. The first courses are always as good as the second courses. A welcoming and tasteful place, a positive experience guaranteed.
27/02/2026: This is my first time eating at Cacciatore, and I'll definitely be back soon. The meat is delicious and the service is excellent.

20/09/2025: We ordered on Deliveroo on Saturday and considering the day, first of all we didn't even eat too late because the pizzas ordered for 8:30 pm arrived at 10:00 pm and then despite the fact that the app had difficulty finding a delivery person, the pizzas arrived hot, they probably intelligently waited for the delivery person to arrive before preparing them, which is not a given because usually when I order with these apps, pizzas, especially on Saturdays, always arrive cold. The dough was really good and the pizzas were good. We especially appreciated the baked potato, sausage and parmesan that was suggested by the app, truly delicious! We will definitely order again, I recommend it!

02/04/2026: This place was an absolute hidden gem and easily the best pasta we had in all of Sicily. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much—the curtains are closed and you might even think it’s not open—but don’t let that fool you.
We came here on a recommendation, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with so much care. Every dish we tried was outstanding.
On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality we received, which made the experience even better.
If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate—this place is 100% worth it.

11/04/2026: Caffè Bella in Caltanissetta is a bit like the legendary Caffè Pedrocchi in Padua...it never closes. But in recent years, it has improved both in terms of drinks and food.
15/02/2026: The coffee was excellent, but the staff, a middle-aged waiter to be precise, brought coffee for me and my friend, along with two glasses of water. I politely asked him if he could bring me some sparkling water. He slammed the tray against the counter and, with a frown of disdain, said... "What do you want?" And etc. Whispering words at me... I asked him to repeat those words, and he raised his arm and told me I could speak first. I'm a tourism reception technician; I'll note this behavior and hope the owner can make him understand that customers should be treated a certain way.

02/02/2026: It used to be excellent, but now they seem tired. Arancini with uncooked rice, the inside cold, but still tasty.
Schiacciata with spinach: boiled spinach, unsalted and not sautéed in oil and garlic. It tasted bland.
Pizza: overall good. The sweet sauce was fine. But the mix instead of mozzarella... no way.

08/03/2026: Nice place and friendly staff. Thin, crispy pizza, with no crust. Worth a try when in the area. Edit: After 7 months, the ingredients on top of the dough have shrunk, and the parmesan cheese didn't taste like parmesan to me.

23/12/2025: I was staying at the hotel across the street with my family this summer, and we spent ages looking for somewhere to eat.
When we stumbled upon this restaurant, we were thrilled.
The pizza and the various fries are absolutely delicious.
The atmosphere in the back is really lovely, and you can feel completely at ease sitting there.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
It's a fantastic restaurant, and if I ever go back to Gela, I'll definitely come back here.
I hope the restaurant maintains its high quality, and I highly recommend it.
04/11/2025: Good things always happen by chance.
This is one of the few good ones.
On a special Saturday evening, traveling to Gela from the province of Ragusa, we found ourselves booking at this place based on the reviews we'd seen.
They warmly welcomed us despite the late hour (10:00 PM), and we enjoyed an excellent pizza and drank an excellent beer.
The pizza in the photo (mine) is a pizza that contrasts sweet and savory, seemingly simple, refined in reality, and not as banal as it seems. To accompany this pizza (made with whole wheat dough), I ordered an excellent beer, a bit drier and more bitter, which pairs wonderfully with the contrast of the pizza's ingredients. Will we be back? Yes!
P.S.: One of the most digestible pizzas I've ever eaten, one of the few I can remember that didn't leave me clinging to a bottle of water all night.
Kudos to the staff!
