06/10/2025: I've loved anchovy pizza ever since I tried it a while ago at the old Très Chic pizzeria in Favara. From that moment on, I fell in love with this pizza! Today I returned to Très Chic!, which renovated its pizzeria, making it more colorful and exotic! Everything is new, but the pizza is still delicious! Even though the size of "O Sole Mio" has decreased slightly, the ingredients are still top-quality!

17/11/2025: My wife and I had a wonderful meal here. This is a very well run and welcoming restaurant with great food and a terrific staff. Shame on some reviewers who clearly by mistake left low reviews. This restaurant and its excellent staff would rectify a mistake, you can see they take pride in what they serve. My wife and I are for the third time traveling the world for a year. We eat in a lot of restaurants and this is one of the best. As well my wife is from a restaurant family. You will not be disappointed.

09/12/2025: We had a fantastic lunch at this wonderful restaurant. There's a huge garden with gazebos. The tables are set up by competent, fast, and adult waiters. The fish first and second courses were excellent—what more could we say, truly delicious. Perfectly cooked and flavorful.

16/12/2025: Never again!!!! (Local customer) You can't treat people badly who make you work even in winter. The bill is very high and bitter, served in Barbie glasses. 4 euros per person. Table for 4: 2 appetizers, 4 pizzas: 35 euros per person!!!!

At Hosteria Il Porcino, I ate the best mushrooms ever, prepared with truly rare care and quality: fragrant, flavorful, simply extraordinary. The mushroom appetizer was a true sensory experience, a delight that captivates from the first bite. The pizza? Excellent, well-cooked, with quality ingredients and a great balance of flavors. The fillet steak with green peppercorns deserves a special mention: exceptional, incredibly tender, and with a perfect sauce. All this is accompanied by kind, professional, and attentive staff, capable of making you feel at home right away. The price is absolutely reasonable, more than justified by the quality of the dishes and the level of experience. A restaurant I recommend without reservation: top-notch quality, authentic cuisine, and great passion. I will definitely be back!

23/12/2025: Truly excellent mushroom dishes, but what impressed us most was the service. The young woman who served our table was extremely kind, attentive, and cheerful. Highly recommended, especially for winter evenings.

15/01/2026: I returned after two years with a group of friends. I confess that the first time I wasn't so kind in reviewing the place. This time I noticed signs of improvement, and after talking to the owner, we promised to return in conditions more suited to his quality standards. I returned again and, for the first time, I gave him the truly deserved compliments. The owner appreciated it, telling me he has done and will do everything to improve. I returned last night with my partner, had a pizza there, and was pleasantly surprised once again. The new pizza chef has significantly raised the quality standards. Top!

25/11/2025: The place has a great atmosphere. The food portions are decent, though some of us (6 of us) were left half-eaten. We ordered pasta and fish (sea bass). Delicious. Unfortunately, we arrived before closing time (3 p.m.) and the dishes were undercooked. The pasta was too hard, and the potatoes served with the fish were also hard. Hence the only 3 stars. The service was okay.

28/09/2025: This place was recommended by several people. The pizza experience was quite good; if it weren't for the rest, I would have given it 4/5 stars. What lowered the average was the lack of clarity regarding both the reservation and the service. I called to make a reservation and was told that the table would be occupied by other customers starting at 8:00 PM and would be free as soon as it became available. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:30 PM and, after informing the staff of our arrival, we waited patiently. While waiting at a convenient table outside, we saw our designated table become available at 9:45 PM, but they didn't seat us until 10:00 PM, the time listed in their reservation book. Once seated, we ordered appetizers and pizzas. We chose "peeled potatoes" from the menu and expected them to be the actual potatoes, but instead, they delivered classic French fries. Which in itself isn't a big deal; the problem lies in pointing it out to the waitress, who replied, "These are potatoes with their skins on. When you fry them, the color of the skins has faded, but they're still there," which left us very perplexed. As I said at the beginning, the pizzas are quite good; the problem lies in the lack of clarity in communication. There's nothing wrong with saying "we're out of potatoes with their skins," but what's more annoying is the attempt to mock us, as if we'd never seen potatoes with their skins. I'd come back to try other pizzas; I hope I can change my mind about the rest.

11/11/2025: A very nice restaurant. Very good food and very friendly service. Pizza is only available in the evenings. It's worth a visit, especially since the prices are very reasonable. It's just a shame the grappa is so expensive (but everywhere in Italy grappa is so damn expensive). I highly recommend it!
