03/06/2026: I'm giving one star, but I'd happily give it 0. We were given a gift certificate for lunch for two. We booked and were told the lunch included appetizers, two first courses, a second course, dessert, fruit, water, and wine. It's for two people, of course. It's roughly €70. We went with two friends. We ordered three appetizers, three first courses, two second courses, an extra 1/2 liter of wine, and no dessert or fruit... moral of the story: €84.00 more than the €70 gift they gave us. What do you call that? I think it's robbery... unless they thought, with the €70, they could give us pasta with sauce and a piece of sausage! And then they complain if they only work with tourists? Thank God! Never again!

13/07/2026: Excellent pizzeria, very good products, excellent seating both inside and outside, especially outside with all the green plants, the only thing that could be improved is the speed of the service which at the weekend leaves a little to be desired. 👍😋

12/07/2026: Last year we stayed at L'Albero for a few days and immediately fell in love with the beautiful, lovingly restored and furnished rooms (we were able to see all four), so much so that this year we decided to spend our entire 16-day vacation there. Gerlando and his entire team are incredibly helpful, courteous, and friendly. The adjacent restaurant serves delicious food in the beautiful garden among lemon and orange trees, and offers a wide selection (pizza, pasta, meat, etc.). Breakfast, served by Nancy, is abundant and varied; she always asks if we need anything else. Her kind, cheerful, and helpful nature is contagious, and so every day always starts with a smile—thank you, Nancy, for everything. Outside, there is a large parking lot surrounded by trees, bushes, and flowers, with a beautiful, centuries-old olive tree in the center. The truly beautiful beach is just a few minutes' walk away, or you can drive to a larger parking lot. We highly recommend L'Albero to all visitors: it's wonderful and the people who work there are special and immediately enter your heart.

01/08/2026: We were at the beach and wanted something light for lunch. The food was excellent, and now, after swimming, we stop there more often. The sea view is also worth a visit.

01/07/2026: This is always one of our must visits when in Catania. The pizza here is exceptional with super flavourful dough and a great range of options for toppings. The service is great and has only improved over the years we have visited. The location itself is also beautiful and nice and quiet. Definitely worth a visit.

08/08/2026: We already knew Pizzeria Il Fedino, and they always manage to amaze us. The service staff are impeccable, and the pizzas and everything else are fantastic.

Five years ago, this trattoria was a true trattoria: delicious and hearty food, just like home cooking, a terrace with authentic decor, fairly quick service, and a kind and eager waitress. Today, the owners are trying to emulate a more upscale image, but they lack the skills. The food is barely tasty; they now prioritize presentation over flavor. The wait is excruciatingly long. On the other hand, taking your order is quick. We still waited almost 30 minutes for two pasta dishes. The portions are really small, and it didn't make us want to try the desserts. It's a shame; we were looking forward to going back, but it's clear that tourism has ruined their authenticity and good, home-style cooking.

13/06/2026: The entire table got food, but one person waited over an hour. The waiter ignored our request after asking for olive oil and food for one person, and we waited a very long time. The drinks tasted like weed, not to mention that Sex on the Beach and Sunrise Tequila looked and tasted the same.
