26/08/2024: Excellent restaurant, nothing to complain about. The boss and staff are very cheerful and friendly. Prosecco offered on arrival, huge and tasty pizzas, good value for money. Special mention for the Italian ratatouille as an incredible starter!

22/08/2024: Excellent fish starter with welcome aperitif, even the first courses were a pleasant surprise, all very plentiful and of good quality. The service was quick and very kind, also recommending the dishes of the day which were excellent. We will definitely be back!

28/07/2024: I recently visited the pizzeria restaurant Mangia which is good and I have to say it was a nice experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for an evening with friends or a romantic dinner. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to satisfy every request with a smile. The food is simply delicious. I tried their pizza made very well with a sublime flavor, with fresh and well-balanced ingredients. The value for money is good. 12/08/2024: Very good pizza, there is always confusion because the food is good. The service from the guys who are very fast is also excellent. I recommend booking a few days in advance. The only flaw is the parking, but it doesn't depend on the pizzeria. Super recommended

11/08/2024: Antichi Proverbi in Nicolosi is a restaurant that offers a very characteristic and traditional atmosphere, as the name itself suggests. The restaurant is carefully furnished, recalling Sicilian culture through signs with proverbs, carts and other typical elements of the region, creating a welcoming and evocative environment. During the summer period, finding parking nearby can be particularly difficult, so it is advisable to take this aspect into account when planning a visit. As for the pizza, it is served with high sides, a style that is now common but which may not be appreciated by everyone. However, the cooking of the pizza was satisfactory. One negative to highlight is the lack of gluten-free options. A point in favor of the restaurant is undoubtedly the staff: kind, polite and welcoming, they help make the experience in the restaurant even more pleasant. In summary, evaluating the various aspects, I would give a 7 to the pizza and an 8 to the place for its atmosphere and decor. A place that might be worth trying, especially for those who appreciate a traditional Sicilian environment and friendly service.

21/08/2024: Per noi è stata una conferma. Siamo ritornati dopo alcuni mesi e ancora una volta il titolare ci ha deliziati con i suoi piatti squisiti e freschi. Persona gentile, educata che lavora con passione e soprattutto ispira i suoi dipendenti a fare altrettanto. Sicuramente da provare.

13/08/2024: Siamo stati nel locale per un compleanno , ottimo posto, locale spartano ma accogliente . Ottimo servizio , personale gentile e cortese . Abbiamo consumato antipasti caldi e pizze , tutto buono . Si mangia bene e si paga poco Locale consigliato

26/06/2024: We have been customers for several years, fabulous, particular, delicious pizza, only one flaw in recent times, the very very commercial mozzarella, for the rest, super recommended pizzeria! Worth trying, I hope this little flaw will be corrected as soon as possible because such a good pizza must deserve a mozzarella that's up to par! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

04/08/2024: Non è prima volta che andiamo a mangiare in questo meraviglioso posto. O carne, o pesce, o pizza TUTTO ECCELLENTE. Fresco, gustoso, equilibrato, (siamo stati lì con gli ospiti stranieri e abbiamo fatto una bella figura), servizio impeccabile, un grazie speciale alla cameriera gentilissima con i capelli mesh 👏. Piatti da leccarsi i baffi, unico posto dove mangiamo la pizza con tutti i bordi perché è fantastica! Torneremo tante altre volte perché sappiamo che non delude mai!! Grazie❤❤❤

27/07/2024: IN-CROY-ABLE !!!!! Excellent… personnel aux petits soins… vraiment RIEN à redire… Pizza, pâtes, desserts, boissons 🥰 N’hésitez plus : en famille ou entre amis vous allez vous régaler ! Laissez vous tenter par les desserts du jour, surtout s’ils sont glacés 😉 Les serveurs sont aux petits soins (faites moi plaisir, laissez des pourboires quand ils le méritent)

17/08/2024: Two of us arrived at 8.30pm at 8.35pm ordered a pizza and a pork shank with potatoes and a bottle of nero d'avola, at 9.45pm the shank arrived cold and raw and it smelled, we sent it back, yes rearrange a medium cooked sirloin with baked potatoes, meanwhile the pizza arrives...we wait, at 10.05pm the raw meat finally arrives (very hard and flavourless) and the potatoes. We take away the remaining meat (almost all of it) saying that we would continue cooking at home. At the checkout we reported everything and given what had happened they discounted us by €. €50.50. 30.00 but this doesn't justify what happened, we were there on 14 August 2024 and all in all it went well... we definitely won't be back and we won't recommend it. In catering given the prices, you can't go wrong, let alone improvise, non-existent chefs...I forgot the two small gluten-free sandwiches, moist almost wet and raw...

16/08/2024: Location in the center of Castelbuono, a few steps from the Central Square, a terrace overlooking the Madonie landscape that is worth the dinner, the pizza is excellent, well leavened and light, the tasty appetizer, the grilled caciocavallo is super, the barbecue ribs are delicious. Excellent value for money, courtesy and professionalism of the staff, thank you Mr. Christmas, we'll be back.

29/08/2024: Syracuse culinary experience. We tried fried calamari and prawns and peppered mussels as an appetizer. Followed by an excellent Syracuse spaghetti that is absolutely worth trying, then a pizzolo egeo and a pizzolo eolo. For dessert we opted for a very good cup of ricotta and sponge cake. I also recommend getting a nero d'Avola. Thanks to the help of Angelo who was very nice and was able to recommend the most characteristic typical products, we spent a wonderful evening with excellent local food.

24/07/2024: Very good restaurant with regional specialties. Despite the remote location, we were here twice during our vacation. The restaurant is definitely worth the trip.

06/07/2024: I've been to this wonderful place they call an inn. In fact it is a mega ancient farmhouse with lots of greenery and many enchanting corners. Lots of greenery and a swimming pool. I had dinner with friends. Typical Sicilian food very good and well presented. The service was also excellent.

23/07/2024: We were my son my husband and myself, I took a tuna pizza my son with salmon and my husband 4 seasons I don't like salmon pizza but but Mizzica made me change my mind the salmon pizza a delight like the others, their pasta is light, slightly puffy and crispy 🤩the starter of fried onion croquettes, delicious and hearty pannelli and the delicious fries, I'm Belgian so I know my stuff I plan to go back before leaving to taste their garnished breads 💯💯👍

06/07/2024: Really very good pizza, you can feel that the ingredients are of high quality. The pizza isn't huge, but it's still the right size. Thin and crunchy, one of the very few pizzerias that still make pizza like this (and thank goodness, because I love pizza thin and crunchy, I don't like contemporary pizza). Cooked in an electric oven, and I personally consider this an advantage too. If you are looking for a pizza as good as those of the past, this is the right place for nostalgic people like me who don't like contemporary pizzas
