21/02/2026: An anachronistic experience and unbalanced value for money. I visited this well-known pizzeria with my family, but unfortunately, my expectations were largely disappointed. The initial impression was marked by a decidedly subdued welcome: the cashier—the owner—distinguished herself by a marked lack of empathy and warmth, an approach that clashes with the minimum standards of hospitality. Furthermore, the place appears frozen in an outdated aesthetic, conveying a sense of neglect rather than tradition. Regarding the food, the pizzas were adequate but lacking in excellence, with specific sore points: Shrimp Pizza: It tasted flat due to the lack of the necessary aromatic component (garlic and parsley). Pizza alla Norma: Definitely unbalanced; the eggplant was excessively dark in color, a clear sign of having been fried in used oil. Margherita with sausage: The mozzarella portions were insufficient, and the overall flavor was barely acceptable. The biggest disappointment concerns the treatment of guests: In a restaurant like this, one would expect at least some attention to the little ones, a courtesy that was completely lacking from the owners. The only bright spot of the evening was the professionalism of the waiter, a talkative and courteous figure who tried, wherever possible, to improve the service. Finally, the bill was disproportionate to the overall experience. One gets the feeling that every detail is being monetized without any real return in terms of quality or hospitality. Not recommended. Management needs a profound overhaul, both structurally and in terms of attitude. If the system allowed it, my rating would be zero stars, as the overall experience doesn't even reach the minimum passing grade.

30/09/2025: The pizza is delicious; you can tell the ingredients used are top-quality. I can't say the same for the location, which is a bit neglected and lacks elegance for its surroundings. The same goes for the bathrooms, which I prefer not to mention so as not to overly influence the review. N.B.: I hope these words of mine will inspire a thorough renovation of the place, also to return it to its former glory, when the location and food were top-notch.

14/09/2025: A fantastic discovery in Palermo. The atmosphere is refined, yet welcoming and almost family-like. The view of the tennis courts of the nearby club is excellent. I personally enjoyed an excellent appetizer (scampi cocktail) and a memorable first course (spaghetti with clams). I plan to return on my next business trip.

27/01/2026: I had a pizza and a schiacciata, splitting them between two people. I found both excellent. The dough was just the way I like it: not too bready and tender. The staff was kind and helpful. I'll definitely be back and will take some photos to post.

06/01/2026: One of Messina's historic pizzerias, owned for at least 25 years. The pizza is delicious, crispy all the way to the top. My favorite, the spicy one, remains the best. Highly recommended!

07/12/2025: The pizza is awful, too thin, with limited ingredients, the tomato sauce is sweet, the service leaves much to be desired... the entrance door makes you feel cold every time you open it... what can I say? If they don't improve on all of this, we won't be back!

17/11/2025: My wife and I had a wonderful meal here. This is a very well run and welcoming restaurant with great food and a terrific staff. Shame on some reviewers who clearly by mistake left low reviews. This restaurant and its excellent staff would rectify a mistake, you can see they take pride in what they serve. My wife and I are for the third time traveling the world for a year. We eat in a lot of restaurants and this is one of the best. As well my wife is from a restaurant family. You will not be disappointed.

21/02/2026: I've been going to this place for about four years and have never encountered any problems. The pizzas are delicious and the service is excellent and friendly. However, I'm forced to remove a star due to the significant delay. It took 50 minutes to take an order, 55 minutes to receive fries as an appetizer, and 90 minutes to start eating the pizza. I think I'll avoid going on Saturdays for now to avoid this inconvenience. There are other details I'm avoiding mentioning because they're always caused by the delay and confusion caused by the huge influx of customers to serve.

02/01/2026: A welcoming place ideal for celebrating every day beyond the holidays... as soon as you enter, you immediately feel at home... The staff is kind and courteous, the dishes are generous and delicious, with fresh pasta made by them, and oven-roasted lamb cooked to perfection!!! You can find classic pizzas as well as more elaborate ones, among which the Porchetta, the Sapori del Sud and, last but not least, my favorite, the Sapori di Bronte.... What more can I say.... go and visit them, you will be pleasantly surprised and shocked by the skill of all the staff who put passion, love and all their professionalism into it....!!!

09/10/2025: First time trying their pizza and schiacciata! I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The pizza is always well-cooked and well-topped. There are many flavors available. The schiacciata is also truly excellent. The crust is thin but crispy, and the filling is flavorful but not overly heavy. Unfortunately, the wait was over an hour because the pizza pans were sold out.

26/09/2025: Overall, I liked it. I recommend it. The downside is that if you want to eat pizza there, you can only sit in the chairs after 8 pm. I thought that was absurd. I arrived at 7 pm and ate outside. They wouldn't let me use the tables and chairs. But... the pizza is good, the service was good, and the price is excellent. I paid 2 euros for a large slice of pizza. If you're in the Etna area, in Nicolosi for example, it's worth going there to eat.
