18/07/2025: Excellent gluten-free pizza; good traditional pizzas, fried appetizers too greasy... Four of us, after being seated at the agreed-upon time, waited an hour and 15 minutes for our pizzas. Unfortunately, takeout is a disadvantage...

13/05/2025: Great pizza! Great service. Only issue was the google times they are open are incorrect as we arrived at 7pm and they said they wouldn’t be open for another 20 mins to half hour

26/06/2025: Having trekked through much of Italy, I was craving some good ol fashioned chicken after a sea of pork options Happened upon this quiet joint in the small town of Salemi and they made my wish come true. The chicken wings were fantastic and cooked to perfection. The chicken burger was delicious with the perfect amount of sauce! 10/10 would recommend, a must visit!

25/06/2025: The food was OK, the staff very friendly, but the restaurant was very hot (would have been nice if the air-conditioning was turned on... The chicken burger was just a schnitzel (most likely cooked from frozen). The chicken "nuggets" are really just chicken sticks/fingers - a bit dry, but OK. The chicken wings were great, but could do with a little extra seasoning. The fried potatoes are good, but nothing too different from what we've had in the rest of Sicily. The beef burger needed more sauce, it was a bit too dry... Overall, for the price and for the lack of better options in Salemi, this place is fantastic if you feel like having something different and for a good price too. It may not be a 5-star experience, but definitely worth trying, especially just to support the lovely staff.

12/08/2025: I'd say the pizza is terrible, but the fish is fine. It's borderline decency, and I strongly advise against it. It's cheap, but the food is sloppy, to say the least.

10/08/2025: A good restaurant and pizzeria on the Mazara del Vallo seafront. Good service, fairly quick (given the crowds), and good quality. Nothing exceptional, but we still had a delicious seafood couscous and some good pizzas, paying a fair price without the exorbitant prices found elsewhere.

22/07/2025: A brief but terrible experience. We went in and asked for a table for two, but it was all empty, and yet we waited to be seated. Looking at the menu, I realized there was nothing meatless. We stood up, were asked if everything was okay, and I politely replied, "There's nothing vegetarian." The waiter gave me a nasty look. Especially for that look, I'm giving a bad review. It's unacceptable in the restaurant industry to treat customers like that.

03/08/2025: I went to this pizzeria on a Friday evening in July. The location—very pretty—is nestled in the Solarino countryside. The staff—including the owners—are very kind. I ordered a simple Margherita: 🔸 Dough: The crust is nice and thick and well-cooked, with that light char typical of true Neapolitan pizza—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside! 👌🔥 🔸 Mozzarella: Evenly distributed and stringy, with a few golden areas that provide a nice contrast in flavor. 🧀😍 🔸 Tomato: The sauce seems fresh and vibrant, with a beautiful deep red color. 🍅❤️ 🔸 Basil: Abundant fresh leaves, added after baking, add flavor and freshness to the pizza. 🌿😋 🔸 Overall: Simple, traditional, but made with care and passion. 29/07/2025: Valentino’s is a must if you are in Sicily. The food and house wine are just Amazing and the owner and staff are the absolute BEST! They treat you like your Family and it’s just the everything Sicily is all about. I can’t wait to go back and see my adoptive Italian / Sicilian family.

15/07/2025: The waiter’s service at this place was surprising — at first, I thought he might be mute (he wasn't I saw him talking to others) because he didn’t say a single word, and I was speaking to him in Italian (it's my second language). Not a single question was answered.
