15/03/2026: I had the misfortune of eating a gluten-free pizza from them. The base is packaged, but it didn't even go through their oven, defrosted, probably in the microwave. It was white, soggy, with very little toppings. In fact, it was completely unseasoned, and I paid for a gourmet pizza! A sort of rubbery mix that resembled Snow White! (The most inedible pizza I've tried so far) Value for money: 0

07/03/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant in Modica. The place is beautifully maintained and creates a truly peaceful and unique atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pizzas are of a quality that, in my opinion, is above average, being balanced with quality ingredients. All in all, it was a pleasant and relaxing evening.

26/06/2025: Having trekked through much of Italy, I was craving some good ol fashioned chicken after a sea of pork options Happened upon this quiet joint in the small town of Salemi and they made my wish come true. The chicken wings were fantastic and cooked to perfection. The chicken burger was delicious with the perfect amount of sauce! 10/10 would recommend, a must visit!

25/06/2025: The food was OK, the staff very friendly, but the restaurant was very hot (would have been nice if the air-conditioning was turned on... The chicken burger was just a schnitzel (most likely cooked from frozen). The chicken "nuggets" are really just chicken sticks/fingers - a bit dry, but OK. The chicken wings were great, but could do with a little extra seasoning. The fried potatoes are good, but nothing too different from what we've had in the rest of Sicily. The beef burger needed more sauce, it was a bit too dry... Overall, for the price and for the lack of better options in Salemi, this place is fantastic if you feel like having something different and for a good price too. It may not be a 5-star experience, but definitely worth trying, especially just to support the lovely staff.

22/03/2026: The pizza is magnificent, with excellent dough and top-quality ingredients. Not to mention the craft beer! Armando, the friendly and professional waiter, and the girl who took our orders was smiling and very knowledgeable. In short, a rarity in Syracuse!

15/03/2026: The menu was sparse, drinks prices were missing, service was poor, dishes were so dirty they changed them for me, and paper placemats for an overpriced service. The pizza was mediocre, with a hard, dry dough.

05/03/2026: Superb place. Despite the storm a month prior and the damage to the beach and restaurant, the atmosphere was lovely. We recommend it.

14/02/2026: One of the major tourist-seaside resorts in Sicily as well as Catania... because it is no longer a simple beach... but has now become an attractive center that offers services all year round thanks to the presence of a beautiful room that can be easily used

09/11/2025: I dropped in by chance for dinner with a group of friends. The place looks nice, spacious, and rustic. The appetizers and pizza are really good, and the pizza doesn't leave you feeling heavy or thirsty. The service was a bit chaotic, but it was Saturday, so that's understandable. They were quick and efficient, however.

21/02/2026: Casa della Pizza is one of those places on Via Garibaldi where you can't go wrong. Besides the pizza—good, light, and with a wide selection—there are three things that truly deserve a special mention: the arancino, the pitoni, and the pasta dishes. The arancino is spectacular: crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, one of the best in the area. The pitoni are made according to tradition, well-filled and dry—it's impossible to eat just one. And then the pasta dishes… generous portions, authentic flavors, and excellent value. Fast service, friendly staff, and a convenient location. A simple, reliable, and authentic place: worth trying and keeping among your favorites.

08/03/2026: A pleasant surprise. After a nice curvy ride, we stopped for a liqueur and coffee. I was surprised to see some appetizing dishes. I'll try the menu as soon as I'm in the area.

29/12/2025: Good pizza, quiet atmosphere, and good pizza. I highly recommend this pizzeria, with very large, well-topped pizzas. It's a shame, though, that the website only shows photos/descriptions of burgers that aren't actually on the menu. So, if you're looking for something else, be careful. Reservations are convenient via WhatsApp. If you have small children, it's best to let them know in advance, or you might not find anything for them to eat. In conclusion, it's good... but please update your information on the website!
