07/06/2026: A family-run hotel in a beautiful location. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We extended our stay twice because we felt so comfortable there.

24/04/2026: A restaurant just a few meters from the center, with not a lot of tables and very basic furnishings, quite convenient given its strategic location. The menu is simple, and the pizza is delicious, cooked in a wood-fired oven. Average prices (pizza, drink, and fries) are less than €18 per person. I'd say that's not cheap these days, and the food is good. I recommend it for a family looking for a treat.

23/03/2026: Terrible experience. We called at 7:30 PM to have dinner for five adults and two infants, and that we needed two high chairs. We were told yes, but we had to leave the table at nine. That was fine by us. We arrived on time and were put under incredible pressure to finish dinner as quickly as possible, but of course there were no high chairs! The owner stared at us with a terrible, funeral-like face, and her husband constantly scolded the waiters, who were actually very polite. The pizza was good, though! We never felt comfortable, always stared at by the lady with a terrible face. We finished dinner at 8:30 PM, half an hour before the maximum time, and the owner was so insistent and quick that he sprayed disinfectant on the coat of a woman sitting with us. We practically ran away, never feeling comfortable, always staring at each other in an awkward way. At a certain age, stay home because your job as a host is to welcome people, not scare them away. Sometimes retirement is a good thing.

11/04/2026: Caffè Bella in Caltanissetta is a bit like the legendary Caffè Pedrocchi in Padua...it never closes. But in recent years, it has improved both in terms of drinks and food.

15/02/2026: The coffee was excellent, but the staff, a middle-aged waiter to be precise, brought coffee for me and my friend, along with two glasses of water. I politely asked him if he could bring me some sparkling water. He slammed the tray against the counter and, with a frown of disdain, said... "What do you want?" And etc. Whispering words at me... I asked him to repeat those words, and he raised his arm and told me I could speak first. I'm a tourism reception technician; I'll note this behavior and hope the owner can make him understand that customers should be treated a certain way.

09/06/2026: A welcoming restaurant, and the food is excellent

17/05/2026: We visited on a Saturday evening, booking a table for about 20 people, including three children. They placed us in a cramped, hot, and noisy space on the upper floor, accessible only by a spiral staircase. I'll skip the "emergency escape routes" section for obvious reasons, but the inconvenience was obvious to everyone, including the poor waiters. Although they were very kind, they couldn't get through, so they hand-served some pizzas while we were standing. They were quick to prepare the pizzas, but some were burned on the bottom. The "zucchini" was a bit watery and had too much cheese. Parking was also difficult, quite far from the entrance and full to capacity. It's a shame; sometimes you should be content with fewer people in the restaurant, but be able to manage them more humanely. Changing tables are available in the restrooms.

19/05/2026: Let me start by saying that the place isn't exactly nice. You go there for good food. Since we don't eat meat, we looked for a place that served traditional, essentially humble, dishes. So we had the lolli with fava beans and the pasta with Aci trunzo, dishes you won't find everywhere and absolutely recommended. But the thing that kept us coming back two nights in a row was their caponata. We don't understand how they make it; it's slightly different from the others, but we've never had it this good. The woman at the tables, who I assume is the very kind owner, explains the tradition of the dishes and where the ingredients come from. I also recommend trying their fries, since we were so light on the first courses...

05/05/2026: Acireale, CT. Via Lancaster, 2. Corner of Vico dei Padri Filippini. Pizzeria-restaurant right in the city center, with a simple and functional atmosphere. We loved the pizza for its easy-to-digest dough and generous toppings; the service was quite quick and the prices were fair. A bit noisy on weekends, and the beverage offerings were basic. Our choice proved to be a reliable one.

28/05/2026: Great selection, we were craving pizza, the dough wasn't good, but we were very hungry so we had nothing left 😏

30/04/2026: I had the gluten free burrata pizza which was delicious. She brought me GF bread sticks and a gluten free starter (was sort of like a pita pizza) and they also gave us a complimentary aperol.

30/04/2026: The restaurant is perfect, nice and a little big. It would be nice for a small party. The food is good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere nice, but why did I take away 1 star from the service and the atmosphere?? Well... number one, I took away a star from the service because they made me wait quite a while for a can of Coke, even though the waiters were free. Then I took away a star from the atmosphere because the bathroom was way too small and when I was going I found the men's bathroom with napkins on the floor and a clogged toilet... I had to go to the next restaurant because I refused to go to the bathroom in those conditions and it was also urgent... I hope you can correct these various errors which I consider to be errors of confusion, after all it's good

13/02/2026: I frequent the Gallo d'Oro Restaurant and always have a great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for both a quiet dinner and a lunch with friends. The staff is truly kind, attentive, and helpful, making you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The food is excellent, well-prepared and tasty, made with quality ingredients. It's a positive experience every time. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for good food and friendly service.

08/06/2026: Totally unusual, original, and above all, incredibly delicious ice cream flavors 🤩 You can immediately taste the homemade quality, with high-quality ingredients and a lot of passion behind each flavor. The pizzas are excellent, the arancini are simply perfect 😋 And on top of that, the staff are genuinely friendly, smiling, and welcoming, which is becoming rare these days.
