Trattoria al Borgo is located in Monterosso Almo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It is located in the historic part of the village. You can enjoy typical local dishes such as ricotta-filled ravioli, excellent local meat dishes, delicious scaccioni (a type of pasta) in various flavors, and, to finish, a delicious ricotta-filled cannoli from the Iblean farms. The excellent tagliatelle with mushrooms are a must-try. Free parking is available near the trattoria.

A quiet trattoria in a charming and intimate setting among the narrow streets of Monterosso. Good, plentiful food and efficient service. I would have given it five stars if the mushroom-based first course had been creamier.

A very positive experience, authentic, plentiful dishes at a reasonable price! The mushroom fettuccine was fantastic, as were the mouthwatering appetizers. The authenticity of the food was complemented by the kindness, professionalism, and great availability of the delightful Aurora! Tireless, quick, and attentive to every customer request, truly superb! Highly recommended!

The young woman's courtesy is commendable. The place offers a glimpse of ancient and very characteristic scenery. For those, like me, who are wheelchair-bound, I recommend arriving in a small car so you can park directly in front of the entrance. The most important thing is the quality of the food, which is sublime; kudos to the chef. We ordered the tagliatelle with mushrooms and the sausage rolls, also with mushrooms, truly excellent dishes. Personally, I enjoyed them very much, perhaps also because I love these unique mountain villages. However, I think the administration could do more to improve the roads and offer more opportunities to people with disabilities.

I tried this trattoria on a Saturday in February. The waitress offered us a €30 menu with an appetizer, a generous plate of sautéed mushrooms, a salad with parmesan and balsamic vinegar, breaded mushrooms, and a piece of spicy cheese. Next came a lovely plate of linguine with mushrooms, delicious, and then sausage nestled in chicken with mushrooms and salad. It was all accompanied by house wine and bread, and finished with ricotta cannoli. We'll definitely be back, because in the summer, the trattoria's specialty is fish, and we're very curious to try it.
