28/03/2025: I was in Caltanissetta and I stopped to have dinner in this restaurant... We took 2 first courses, really very good... The only flaw was that they brought only one first course first and then after a while the other... The people at the table must be served at the same time....

09/03/2025: Nothing sensational about the food...to have 5 first courses and a slice of swordfish we waited over an hour, luckily 3 out of 5 of the first courses were the same and we had also taken 2 cheese platters which they brought to us almost immediately, otherwise I would have gotten up...the waiter took us hard from the start and didn't even advise us on anything...maybe because we came in at 2pm? luckily we were booked and the owner also knew the arrival time..........I will definitely try elsewhere next time..

24/03/2025: Not your topical bar, u can eat breakfast lunch and dinner as well as just go for an aperitif and u will get your best time in Cefalù, with a touch of topical Sicilian spirit from Peppe and Alessandra, they both amazing. Sandwiches and English breakfast r a must try.

18/11/2024: I have always eaten excellent pizza in this place and it pains me a lot to write this review, I only do it as advice not to make any mistakes because they don't deserve it. Unfortunately the pizza was a disappointment last time. The size was practically a baby pizza and the dough was not fully risen. A practically thin disc, hard and not soft from leavening, they kindly remade it but apart from the slightly larger size, the dough was the same and, as it cooled, it became dry and hard, more than it already was . It was clearly an unleavened dough. At the end of the meal we ordered a sweet roll, and it was the same dough, dry and quite raw in the centre. I repeat that it had never happened to me and it was a negative surprise. I'm sure it was just a mistake that evening, and I continue to recommend this place. I'm writing this review only to advise you not to make certain mistakes because you don't deserve bad reviews.

08/10/2024: We had dinner at this pizzeria stopping by chance. They immediately found us an outdoor table on the seafront in Marina di Ragusa. I took three different types of rolled pizza, one better than the other.

06/11/2024: Da Bruno is a real recommendation. It was recommended to us by “locals” and we went there several times a week in October as a small group. The food is highly recommended, from antipasti to pasta, meat dishes and pizza. The warm dishes are freshly prepared. The price-performance ratio is really great, right down to the tasty house wine. However, there is a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

31/03/2025: We stayed in central Sicily for a couple of days and drove Valguarnera Caropepe. We wanted to try the local pizza for dinner and Il Peperoncino was the most top rated on Google Maps. At first we were hesitant about entering the restaurant because it doesn’t look appealing from the outside. But it was TOTALLY worth it! We had 2 pizzas, a glass of red wine, one beer and one large still bottle of still water for a total of €27. We will definitely visit again! 👏👏

03/11/2024: after being nearby we went to Valguarnera and stopped for dinner, we were very satisfied with the pizzas and the starter, very friendly people and really good food.

12/04/2025: Loro hanno la fortuna di avere un posto bellissimo e noi la sfortuna di ricevere un servizio pessimo in tutte le sue forme. Pessimo era e pessimo rimane!

05/04/2025: Service and environment nothing to complain about. Being by the sea is always pleasant and represents added value. The guys who manage the room were also quick and efficient: in this regard, at our request they moved us from the veranda outside to enjoy the sunny day. We are always in a restaurant though... and if for a first course costing over 15 euros I receive 5 paccheri in number the disappointment is enormous and not commensurate with the experience. We're sorry and we're sure you could do better. 38 euros bill for 4 pasta dishes and 2 fried dishes, with 2 first subscribers after our complaints is frankly a joke. Never again.

29/03/2025: Very reasonable prices, 5-6 euros per pizza on average, and that's already something these days. Excellent pizzas, delivered to your home very hot and in advance, tasty mozzarella, tomato that doesn't tire. The dough of the sweet one with Nutella is strange. Too bad for the large French fries on the Mickey Mouse/Donald Duck, from a frozen package, not very inviting and a bit soft.

09/03/2025: ci hanno portato le pizze a casa e già il prezzo era molto alto, 8€ di consegna e l’orario previsto era per le 21:30 già tardi quindi aspettiamo e alle 21:30 non arriva proprio nessuno quindi dopo 4 minuti chiamo e cercando di spiegare la situazione la ragazza che era al telefono mi parlava di sopra e mi ha detto che lei non ci poteva fare nulla e che stavano arrivando “10 minuti e arrivano” ovviamente sono passati 10 minuti e le pizze non sono arrivate dunque richiamo e mi risponde sempre lei con una maleducazione unica mi parlava di sopra e allontanato il telefono mi prendeva per il vulo con i suoi colleghi alla fine mi dice che stavano arrivando io giustamente ricordo che avrei dovuto pagare la consegna 8€ per 20 minuti di ritardo ma non bastava passano altri 10 minuti dunque si fanno le 22 io richiamo ,nel mezzo avevo chiamato e chiesto altre volte sempre con la stessa risposta, e mi risponde un signore che quando io ripeto la situazione per la 6 volta allontana il telefono e dice ai suoi colleghi “mi sta fannu a cazziata” quindi procede a chiudermi il telefono in faccia dunque la mia recensione è: pessimo personale maleducato, pizza fredda ma decente, e costo elevato della spedizione, costo pizza buono

07/04/2025: Unsurpassed! Excellent food with quality always at the top. The all-handmade desserts are certainly the plus point of this place. Congratulations indeed to all the staff... but above all to the heart of this restaurant: the Portale brothers, great professionals!
