15/10/2025: Always everything perfect at Totuccio, a family-run pizzeria, which makes every customer feel at home, with Totuccio who is the force of nature with his energy, keep it up, but let's move on to the pizzas which are delicious, but what I often have are the moffollette which I order often because they are delicious and my family can't do without them, Kindness and cordiality always come first

15/10/2025: Small place (max 45 people), but that's okay. Scaletta Zanclea is a small town on the Messina/Catania coast, run by a husband and wife team. Egidia works as a waitress, and Mario is the excellent pizza chef. The pizzas are varied, the dough is very good and easy to digest, and the price is reasonable. If you're passing through Scaletta Zanclea, take advantage of it. It's definitely worth the effort. 😉

17/10/2025: This is genuinely one of the best pizzerias I've ever visited! While the venue itself might be described as a bit simple or rustic in its decor, the incredible quality of the pizza more than makes up for it. The pizza is truly the star of the show — absolutely phenomenal. A minor note for international travellers is that not all staff speak English. However, they are very accommodating and will happily find a staff member who can assist you. This small effort is totally worth it for the food. If you are in Trapani, this pizzeria is an absolute must-visit. Highly, highly recommended!

15/11/2025: Had dinner at this pizzeria on a weekday. The service was excellent. The only flaw was the pizza being so soft that it was difficult to slice easily. The pasta frittata was good.

19/10/2025: In 2025, remaking an entire sandwich menu without including a vegetarian option is, to say the least, backward. Making those same sandwiches unchangeable (i.e., you can't have it without speck, for example) means excluding two people at a table of ten. Only one unimaginative pizza option; otherwise, the best pizzeria in Messina proves uninnovative and inattentive to a changing world and the fact that traditionally, food, at least in Sicily, has a strong plant-based component. It was very disappointing. I hope you'll consider updating, and I'll be happy to reconsider my opinion.

17/10/2025: Good pizza, good service, good location and cheap!!!!

14/10/2025: Needed a light lunch and found exactly what we wanted in this small restaurant. I had calamari and my partner had swordfish, and we shared a mixed salad and a portion of chips. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant with family groups on the other tables. We don't speak Italian and the waiter/owner spoke little English but we nevertheless felt welcome and that he wanted us to have a good experience. Very nice food and good value for money. My only regret is that I wasn't generous enough with my tip! They deserved more.

25/08/2025: Lucia, Sabina, and the entire staff were wonderful! Everything was fantastic, there were 35 of us who were a pain in the ass, and they absolutely made it a wonderful evening for all of us. ❤️ We'll be back, thank you so much.

11/08/2025: Restaurant with a lovely setting and a beautiful view. A simple menu, only in Italian. Access is difficult and only possible by going downstairs. A warm welcome and friendly staff. Delicious food. Total bill was 32 euros, with no details. Price for Pasta Norma: 8 or 9 euros with fresh pasta. Typical restaurant

12/10/2025: We’ve been there twice so far and were very happy both times. The restaurant is nicely tucked away on a side street, yet right in the very centre. The food is delicious and the service is quick and friendly. We tried the octopus with guacamole, pasta with mushrooms and guanciale, grilled vegetables, mixed grilled meat, and of course two different pizzas — all excellent! The décor isn’t particularly impressive, but it’s simple and welcoming — and in a restaurant, it’s really the good food and friendly atmosphere that matter more than fancy decorations.

10/10/2025: This authentic Italian restaurant and pizzeria is located in a back alley and seems to have been around for a long time. We recommend the seafood pizza La Contea and the daily special pasta. Open from 7pm (may vary depending on the season).

First and foremost, because if you want a crispella, whether with anchovies or ricotta, it only has one name: Cordai, and those who live in the area know it well. But here, the choice is truly up to the customer, who chooses them. 05/10/2025: I booked for 9pm and they seated us for 9.30pm... despite this, they sat us at a table in a corner where customers and staff pass through, where we were in the way, so we had to get up and sit down to let them pass, eating badly... how do you feed your customers... we will never set foot in this place again

05/09/2025: A few weeks ago I ate a delicious plate of fettuccine allo scoglio, excellent, very good and very kind and efficient. But above all Giovanna, I was in a crazy hurry and Giovanna had the spaghetti arrive for me in 15 minutes as promised.

03/11/2025: Dinner for two: grilled chicken and baked potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. Truly flavorful. All this was complemented by the speed and pleasant courtesy of the wait staff. Recommended.
