05/07/2026: Pizzeria Très Chic in Favara is truly delicious! The pizzas are made with light dough and the freshest ingredients, cooked in a wood-fired oven for a crispy and flavorful result. The atmosphere is lively and colorful, creating a welcoming atmosphere, while the staff is friendly and professional. For all this, it deserves my personal sixth star 🌟 highly recommended!

28/07/2026: At Gitanos, you can experience the full essence of Messina's tradition. The mixed fried fish is exceptional: incredibly fresh, light, crispy, and rich in flavor. The saury, a true local specialty, is also excellent, prepared to perfection. The sea bass is incredibly fresh and cooked with great care. To top it off, the traditional Messina gelato and foamy ice creams are simply delicious and the perfect way to end a meal. All this is accompanied by impeccable service: kindness, warmth, and friendliness make every customer feel welcome. A place that showcases authentic local flavors with quality ingredients. A well-deserved five stars!

17/06/2026: I went to this restaurant for a birthday party with a fixed-price menu. I think it's best not to order the menu for everyone because it's really too much. The quality is good but not exceptional. There are too many dishes that obviously have to be liked, otherwise you risk, as happened to our hosts, taking home an inconsiderate amount of food. The first courses were decent, nothing exceptional. The homemade ravioli were jumbo, but I had some doubts about the contents. The second course of mixed meats was good, and the salad was the one from the bag, which was all left over. The staff were courteous and friendly, and we had a lot of laughs. The three stars are only for the very slow service despite there not being many of us in the dining room. Less quantity, more quality, and appropriate timing—that's my advice.

14/07/2026: The food is nice. The bruschetta (€4) we received were yummy, but it missed something. Maybe freshness in the tomatoes (?) It was 21.30h. after all, so it's possible and totally okay if it lost some freshness at the end of the day. The main dishes were nice, for mine: the chicken dish with fries (€6) - they put lemon juice in the plate which is a good fit with the chicken, but I rather not have soft fries, which was the case in the end. The chicken itself was really well seasoned. My companion had a pizza with sausages and ham on it. He wasn't too much of a fan of it. For the service part, could be that it was late and they were nearly all having a bad evening, but it really wasn't that nice... the lady on the inside at the cash register on July 13th in the evening. You are absolutely lovely and kind. The atmosphere, we can tell that a lot of locals go there and feast, and have a good time. And that is nice to see and feel.

04/06/2026: A lovely restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. The service was impeccable, and even though we were a group of 12, we didn't have to wait at all. To top it all off, the meal was delicious. From fish dishes to pasta and risotto, it was flawless. A place to recommend without hesitation to any friends visiting Cefalù.

11/07/2026: The strawberry granita is unfortunately too sweet, a real shame for someone like me who loves pairing it with cream. The brioche, on the other hand, is very good; I've only had it reheated once (in that case, the crumb was still decent, but the texture was noticeably affected). A special mention goes to the staff: one of the younger guys is really helpful, quick, and polite.

10/08/2026: I booked 10 days in advance for August 10th, for 14 people, and was assigned a 9:30 PM slot, specifying that it was the second seating. The morning of the dinner, I called to ask to add three more people and was calmly told there would be no problem. When we arrived at the restaurant at 9:30 PM, we were instead told we would have to wait 30-40 minutes, if not longer, and the most absurd thing I find is that we were blamed for adding those three seats that morning. If adding those people would have caused problems with the organization, they would have simply called us to let us know. Instead, we were told it was fine, and once we arrived, we found ourselves having to wait through no fault of our own. For my part, I can only speak of a lack of integrity and poor organization. Especially since I'm a customer who has dined at this restaurant several times, and honestly, I would have expected a completely different treatment. What a disappointment.

10/08/2026: After making reservations for 15 people, we showed up at the exact time and were told there was no room. It would take at least half an hour or more, judging themselves by the fact that they couldn't fill all those tables. I think it was more appropriate for them to have said all this over the phone. Outrageous.

09/07/2026: Nestled on a street with steps, the lighting creates a charming atmosphere with many tiny lights that resemble an illuminated roof. Friendly staff. The highlight is the food, cooked according to tradition. The rabbit Nicastro style is delicious. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
