In Marsala, passing through Porta Garibaldi, at Via Frisella 58, you can enjoy excellent pizza at C'era una Volta, a charming restaurant and pizzeria. The "Raffinata" pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and artichokes is delicious. For craft beer lovers, the "Baladin" beer from the Piedmontese Langhe is excellent. The staff is professional and courteous. Good value. Reservations are recommended.

We had the pizza and were very satisfied. In addition to the menu, they also offer delicious seasonal specials. To top it all off, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Fast service and a pleasant atmosphere!

We arrived around 10:00 PM, and despite politely asking if we could get a table, we immediately sensed some hesitation from the staff. I even asked if it was late, but they seated us anyway. We ordered a pizza and a first course of the day: the service was quick, the pizza very good, while the busiate were tasty but slightly too salty. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the atmosphere: throughout the dinner, we felt like we had to hurry, as if we'd arrived too late, even though the restaurant was still open and there were other customers present (we even saw several dishes coming out of the kitchen). We finished dinner in less than twenty minutes, about an hour before closing, but we weren't able to enjoy our meal in peace. I only managed to take this photo. I can't say the staff was rude, but their attitude made us feel a little uncomfortable. For this reason, perhaps it would be better to update the hours listed online or manage late arrivals differently to avoid similar situations.

The restaurant is fairly well-maintained and the pizzas are up to par: very good, with average prices. The only sore point was the organization of ordering and service. We sat down at 9:00 PM, ordered at 10:00 PM, and ate around 11:00 PM. When it came time to take our orders, the waiter tried to convince us to order an appetizer, saying, "It'll be a wait." When we refused, he replied, "You'll have to wait a bit." Later, it was also explained to us that they would send another table out first, even though that table had sat down after us but had ordered first. I found this management unclear and unprofessional. Overall, the quality of the pizza is worthwhile, but the organization of the service is an area that needs improvement.

We went here for dinner and had a truly wonderful time! We ordered two pizzas and desserts. Everything was delicious, made with quality ingredients and prepared with care. The pizzas were fabulous, well-cooked, and truly delicious, while the desserts were the perfect end to the evening. A special thanks to Vincenzo, who served us with great kindness, professionalism, and a smile that made the experience even more enjoyable. It's nice to find people who are passionate about their work. We'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and feel at home!

We went there on a Saturday – a reservation is definitely recommended, otherwise you can expect a very long wait. Since the wait would have been too long for us, we ultimately decided to take the pizza to go. The service deserves special mention: As a small token of appreciation for the long wait, the owner offered us complimentary wine and snacks. This was a very kind gesture and left a great impression. The pizzas were excellent and absolutely delicious. Overall, we can definitely recommend this restaurant.
