28/08/2025: We're tourists and we tried two pizzas at Max Pizza, along with a Peroni takeaway. We really enjoyed them! The pizzas are very good; they're the best we've eaten so far during our trip.
The wait staff and the kitchen staff are friendly and welcoming. 🙂

08/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with a typical Apulian style. The appetizers, seafood first courses, and fried fish dishes are excellent, all plentiful. The service was good despite the busy Sunday lunch dining room. I'll definitely be back for the pizzeria. The outdoor garden is also lovely, perfect for warm summer evenings.

31/01/2026: A restaurant where you can eat your fill without breaking the bank. Excellent and surprising cuisine for a non-Italian. I recommend the Mamma Ricchetta skattata for €10, which is easily enough for two.
11/01/2026: Recommended by friends, but it was a disappointment. There were four of us; one pizza arrived cold, another had very little mozzarella, and the other two had capocollo cooked with the pizza, which was very salty. Plus, there was no mozzarella along with the stracciatella. Very unprofessional.

06/03/2026: What can I say? WELL DONE...I rarely write reviews, I only do it when it's worth it!! The guys here are truly talented, the young management is very attentive, the staff is friendly and very helpful, and the food: you can see the research, you can see the desire to create a tasting menu that will satisfy the palate. A noteworthy entree, a risotto that really stands out, but go, it's definitely worth it. Obviously, I'm always speaking from my own personal taste, but I think you won't be disappointed.

The food was terrible and not presented very nicely. I ordered pasta and salad and both were terrible. You can feel the attention to detail.
The staff was unfriendly.
I will definitely not be returning and will not recommend this restaurant.

22/02/2026: Went there by chance after countless phone calls trying to find an open restaurant. It was a pleasant and fortuitous discovery: intimate and refined atmosphere, prompt service, and delicious food. Right in the center of Modugno, excellent value. Will return if possible.
03/02/2026: In Modugno for work, I returned to this restaurant today for lunch with a colleague. The quality of the dishes and ingredients blends seamlessly with the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The same can be said of the wait staff present today. I will definitely be back...

18/03/2026: Terrible organization. Despite having a reservation, we left after a 45-minute wait because the table was still occupied, and they let other people who arrived later pass. This is the third and last time I've tried to go there. Not recommended; look elsewhere.
15/03/2026: Clean place, friendly staff. Excellent food, good ingredients, amazing pizza dough! Reservations are essential as seating is very limited. Prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a try!

20/03/2026: I hadn't been there since they moved. Nice place, huge, maybe 200 seats. Very chaotic.
The pizza was really excellent. The ingredients were high-quality. On the downside, we waited about 40 minis for two pizzas, one Margherita with prosciutto and the other with whole-grain dough, buffalo mozzarella cream, grilled artichokes, and prosciutto. When we asked again, they replied that our pizzas were special and needed a little more cooking time... while other tables seated after us had already finished their food. Overall, a good experience. We'll be back.
17/03/2026: Total chaos, despite an advance reservation via the app and a direct chat with management a week in advance. A 50-minute wait, to boot, for an annoyed response, as if they were doing us a favor by welcoming us. We're talking about a group of 11, not a single couple.
Service was terrible, except for one waitress who took responsibility for their poor service, which we appreciated.
Value for money? No comment, you've (personal opinion) declined over the years, what a shame!

06/01/2026: In this place, it seems as if time has stood still. Even the prices are stuck in the '80s. The food, the dishes, and the decor are impressive. You feel the passage of time, but the quality of the food and the personality of the place will stay with you, involving you in a high-quality culinary experience.
Don't come if you're looking for, or expecting, something chic. Here, you'll find it. The tradition and affection of old-fashioned owners...who, reluctantly, can't allow the present to trample on the past.
Delicious meat...We're in Sammichele, traditional first courses...excellent cured meats, comfortable location.
19/12/2025: The first course is excellent, especially the capunti with mushrooms, sausage and truffle cream.
