We Bari residents are fond of a product that in the past was exclusively made at home. The ones from the pizzeria are not the same. Here at Bacco I rediscovered the taste and goodness of homemade panzerotto. The quality and variety mean you can eat considerable quantities. Absolutely worth trying! 👍👍👍

I've known this place for a while and I have to compliment the owners and their staff because they've improved everything. The appetizers are delicious (fries, fritters, and more), and the various savory and sweet panzerotti are delicious. I'm always satisfied every time I visit, and everyone I bring tells me I've introduced them to a great place. Highly recommended.

The panzerotti at "da Bacco" are simply spectacular: perfect, golden, dry dough, and a stringy, flavorful filling that literally makes you fly. The drinks are also top notch: I washed it all down with a craft beer commissioned by the owner. It was truly fabulous, fresh, and refined, pairing divinely with their products. We visited this panzerotteria, and unfortunately, the experience was quite mixed, with several aspects that needed reconsidering. For starters, the table was set with only plates and napkins, no cutlery. Furthermore, only beer glasses were provided, no water glasses: a detail that immediately gave the impression of being a bit sketchy. Regarding drinks, water and other beverages weren't brought immediately; we had to specifically request them and wait quite a while. Furthermore, the only truly cold drink was beer, while everything else was either room temperature or warm. The handling of requests wasn't the best either: after asking a waiter to replace the Coca-Cola because it was warm, we were told "two minutes," which actually ended up being quite long. When we asked a second waiter, instead of replacing the bottle, the drink was poured into two carafes with ice, but it still remained warm. We ordered potatoes as an appetizer, but we didn't have time to start eating them because the panzerotti arrived right away. So, the timing wasn't met, and the potatoes remained virtually untouched. As for the panzerotti, the dough base is good: light and well-made. The main problem lies in the toppings: tripe, TOO MUCH, mozzarella everywhere. The meat ones have too little mozzarella compared to the mozzarella, which covers almost the entire filling. Overall, the result is unbalanced. With the "special" panzerotti, the situation is even more questionable: the presence of mozzarella doesn't always make sense with the proposed toppings, and in some cases, it clashes with the very idea of ​​a "special" panzerotto, covering the flavors instead of enhancing them. Personally, the carbonara panzerotto should be reviewed or even eliminated from the menu. Overall, it feels like a good starting point, but there are several areas for improvement: service organization, beverage management, and especially the balance of the toppings. The guys were kind and helpful though.
