08/08/2026: Classic atmosphere, decent service. First courses lacked substance and tasted bland (for €10, supermarket pasta is worth significantly more). The meat was dry, dry, and flavorless. The fries were okay. Both the coffee and salad were good. The fruit wasn't fully ripe. But the worst thing was that the house menu cost more than you would have paid a la carte. And that's terrible.

03/06/2026: We chose this place based on a review that called it "refined," but the experience was terrible. The place tries to project the air of an elegant restaurant, but it's simply tacky and tacky: from the fake flowers on the tables to the small, cheap napkins. Details we would have easily ignored if the food and service had been up to par. Instead, we were pressured into doing so. We'd only asked to wait 10 minutes to enjoy the wine before ordering, but the waitress looked at us like we were aliens. Shortly afterward, a man who appeared to be the owner came to the table with an ostentatious and unassuming attitude, forcing us to order immediately. The absurd thing? The place wasn't even full, so there was no rush to vacate the table. The dishes arrived far too quickly. The Spaghetti all'Assassina was awful: we know it's supposed to be charred, but this was literally burnt, bitter, and inedible. In the end, to avoid wasting the wine, we had to finish almost the entire bottle after dinner, in a tense and unpleasant atmosphere. We paid and left immediately. A place that tries to appear upscale, but doesn't even know what hospitality is.

27/05/2026: A week ago, I dined here with some friends. The value for money was excellent; the food was excellent, and the staff were very kind and helpful. However, when paying, we witnessed a heated argument between the cashier and the counter attendant. The cashier was visibly upset and was unprofessional even with us customers. We were a bit taken aback.

25/07/2026: The service absolutely needs improvement. - The pizzas arrived over an hour after we ordered. - They got our drink order wrong three times. - At the cash register, they had another group pay our bill (!!) and they couldn't find their orders. When we mentioned this to a member of staff, she replied, "We have 300 seats." So maybe it makes sense to add more staff or be more attentive?

25/07/2026: We waited over an hour for two pizzas, and unfortunately, the wait wasn't worth it. Besides the very slow service, the pizza was heavy and hard to digest. Honestly, traveling all this way to eat here isn't worth it.

18/07/2026: We had a fantastic meal as a group of six. The "Crudo" was absolutely divine, but everything else was incredibly delicious too. The service from Leonardo and Massimone was simply superb. If you're looking for exceptionally good food and excellent service, this is the place to be.

18/06/2026: First of all, I'd like to thank the kitchen staff, who promptly fulfilled our wish: to make us an excellent assassina, which wasn't on the menu. Thank you so much. We also enjoyed an excellent appetizer, which was plentiful to say the least. The place is small and tucked away in an alley. It has a traditional feel. If you like places with a story to tell, this is the place for you. We didn't try the pizzas, but we saw several of them pass by, and they looked excellent and had plenty of toppings.

Extraordinary seafood, exceptional pasta dishes, and spectacular red snapper. Compliments to Giuseppe and his staff. If you want to treat yourself, come and try it 😎

12/06/2026: A decidedly negative experience. I paid a very high bill expecting top-notch service and quality, but unfortunately, the exact opposite was true. The fish served was of poor quality, flavorless, and in some cases, it didn't even seem fresh at all. The portions were modest compared to the asking price. The service also left much to be desired: the staff was inattentive and at times downright rude, with disrespectful attitudes toward customers. Requests were met with condescension and without the slightest courtesy. Considering the final price, the experience was extremely disappointing. Terrible value for money. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for good seafood, professionalism, and respect for their customers.
