10/03/2026: Nice place, but the service is truly terrible. The waiters are disorganized: they don't clear away dirty dishes; I waited 40 minutes for my pork shank, which never arrived. I also recommend checking your receipt carefully before paying, as there may be additional charges.

Classic and gourmet pizzas are available upon request, and can be enjoyed in the center with a platter. The atmosphere is very spacious and rustic.

30/05/2026: I know Barbara because she also had a pizzeria in Palo del Colle, so we decided to visit her here in Modugno at her historic pizzeria. The atmosphere is very beautiful and, above all, clean. She's always kind and helpful. The pizza is delicious, and the fried foods are light and crispy. High-quality products at competitive prices. I recommend everyone to stop by.

31/05/2026: Hi everyone, my wife and I got to the restaurant and ordered a water and a lemonade, asked the waitress, on what he recommended we should get for lunch, his answer was a t bone steak so we got that, (medium rare ),66€ per kg(he said 500-600 grams was enough for both) , with some roasted potatoes, we also asked if he recommended any sides he said the salad so we went with it. When the food got to us it was a t bone steak sliced with the potatoes, in a “ very hot plate”(those black ones that the meat is still cooking) , so some of the steak was completely well done and some was rare. The meat was ok but nothing I would recommend. The salad didn t have any seasons and it was just a default salad u do at home, the olives were canned. Then the desert we got a tiramisu and a cheesecake 8€ each(when there is a cheesecake, I always get, in any restaurant) So we thought it should be good and everything, The tiramisu was decent but restaurant wise was like a 6/10 compared to others we tried And the cheesecakes was 3/10 tasted a lot like lemon, a lot. The sizes of both were really small . Then when we got to the price we were like ok the meat was probably 600 grams whatever so in total 80, no it was 106 they charged a full kg of t bone no where to be seen We do not recommend it and would call it definitely a tourist trap

30/05/2026: We were taken by family from town to this fantastic spot! I had the absolute best pizza, and the lactose-free desserts were a fantastic bonus. Antonella, the owner, was so warm and friendly — she made our whole family feel welcome the second we arrived. Highly recommend!

For more than 25 years, Paolo and Vito have stood for authentic Italian grilling and pizza-making craftsmanship — and you can taste it in every single bite. At first, I actually walked past it a few times because, from the outside, the entrance looks incredibly small and unassuming. But exactly this little passageway to the back leads into beautiful, spacious, traditional dining rooms — the kind you could hardly imagine any more charming in Italy. The lovingly designed outdoor area is also a real highlight: in the garden, you can sit peacefully and comfortably, almost as if you were in a small pizza and grill paradise. The pizzas are simply outstanding. The dough is light, easy to digest, and full of wonderful flavor. 08/03/2026: March 8, 2026 We chose the Antica Porta di Levante restaurant because it was featured in the Slow Food guide, which has never disappointed us. This time, however, we were greatly disappointed. First of all, they forgot to include our reservation, and that wasn't a good sign. As for the food, I can say that the only dish that lived up to Slow Food standards was the hand-chopped beef tartare. The rest of the dishes were just okay and full of cooking errors. The leek flan, our other appetizer, was good but not exceptional. For our first course, we had the lasagna with fresh artichokes, which wasn't exceptional either. The béchamel sauce wasn't as soft and creamy as I'd expected, and it was also served in a very deep dish, almost a bowl, making it difficult to eat. For our second course, we had the pan-fried pigeon with roast potatoes and the rabbit. The pigeon was good but a bit dry because it was served in a metal pan, sitting on a bed of burnt potatoes that stuck to the bottom, so much so that we barely managed to eat half of it. The rabbit was also tough and stringy, with a paltry side of carrots that weren't particularly flavorful. And what can I say about the coffee crème brûlée? It tasted like a slightly runny pudding. The whole thing cost 70 euros per person. The problem isn't the cost, but the fact that the quality didn't match the price paid.
