The staff are friendly and knowledgeable; the owner, Paolo, and his wife are extremely kind and accommodating, and they cater to all types of guests, from 0 to 100 years old. The portions are generous. Highly recommended.

27/04/2026: I went to this place because friends from Ostia knew it, and I was curious to see if the reviews about the generous portions were true. I must say, I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. I've never seen such generous portions of fish entrees, not to mention how good they were!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for original and tasty fish entrees that aren't always the same old stuff.
The fried fish was also good, not too greasy, and the portions were generous.
The waiters were very kind and helpful, and the service was fast.
This will be my new go-to place when I return to Ostia!

12/10/2025: Never again! Yesterday, a friend of mine and I ate an appetizer, two regular pizzas, a glass of wine, and a water, for a total of €51, so €25 each. I didn't want to cause a scene in front of the tables that were still in the restaurant, but I saw that the bill indicated a special pizza menu (I instead ordered a pizza that wasn't one of the special ones (called grottino; the special ones were, for example, cacio e pepe, amatriciana, etc.) and an extra appetizer. The pizza menu said the appetizer was included, but instead they charged us for it separately. Terrible treatment; that's why I gave it one star; we were very disappointed.

08/05/2026: This restaurant is right in the center of Genzano, in a great location. The first courses are good, and the sausage is excellent as a second course. They don't serve pizza for Sunday lunch, which I'm just mentioning, but they make up for it with their other dishes. You'll be fine.
