12/09/2024: Bella la location sul lago e personale gentile tutto il resto da dimenticare Il cibo a parere mio non vale il costo che ha !!! è un cibo a parer mio per turisti affamati e di bocca buona perche non ha nulla di speciale anzi La pasta al forno che ho preso era pessima davvero la peggiore che abbia mai mangiato sembrava riscaldata nel microonde tanto era bruciacchiata il vitello tonnato era medio ma molto indigesto !!! io giudico ciò che ho mangiato il ma anche gli altri commensali erano abbastanza delusi e increduli sulla qualità perché se uno spende tanto pretende tanto e …. non solo una bella vista sul lago ma anche cibo ottimo e cucinato al momento !!! Per quanto riguarda i dessert farebbero meglio a fare un corso accelerato dai pasticceri io sono molto golosa ma dopo aver assaggiato il loro tiramisù non ho potuto mangiarlo era PESSIMO biscotti duri e gusto da dimenticare Mi fermo qui non vado oltre (meglio) ma certamente è un locale in cui non ci torneremo più !!!!! Da dimenticare

30/08/2024: Ristorante carino con una bella vista sul Lago. Materie prime nella norma anche se ben presentate. Carta vini modesta. Prezzi un pò sopra la media per la qualità espressa.

30/12/2023: We had been looking for a restaurant for a long time that made good polenta on Lake Maggiore, without having to go somewhere far away and in the mountains, well we found it a few days ago on Google, right in the center of the pedestrian area of ​​Verbania. Characteristic and very beautiful place, in keeping with the name of the inn, not very large, with 2 rooms and about thirty seats, it is not easy to find, although in the pedestrian center of beautiful Verbania, because it is a small street with few shops and parallel to the main, more frequented uphill street, but it is well indicated with signs, on the right starting from the main square of the town and on Google Maps. The owner Miriam's welcome was very warm and smiling, immediately putting us at ease and describing the dishes on the menu with her good typical cuisine, with the 4 types of polenta, the cold cuts with local cheeses and the tigelle made by them, so this inn can be better defined as "Polenteria e tigelleria", apologizing for having excluded from the menu, the first courses that they cooked until a few months ago. My wife and I tried 2 types of polenta, the "concia" with butter and melted cheeses and the one with chopped wild boar, cooked very well and soft (for those who don't know, wild boar meat is typically very tough being a wild animal and not farmed) and the polenta, as well as being very good, is soft and cooked in such a way as to make it easy on digestion, and is served in a terracotta crock which keeps it warm and tasty. We also tasted 2 of the many homemade desserts, the fabulous tiramisu and the soft (..never tried before...) meringue with caramel, also exquisite, accompanying the dishes with ¼ of a good house Barbera red wine, a liter of demineralised mineral water and 2 deca coffees, for a total of €38.50, which I consider to be an excellent quality/price ratio, given the refinement of the good basic products and excellent light and digestible cuisine. The owner was very nice and sociable during our lunch, describing in great detail the products sought and used for each dish on the menu, highlighting the local origin and their quality. She also offered us free of charge at the end of the meal, a good typical Sardinian liqueur, Mirto, handcrafted by her mother. Coming often to the area for our leisure throughout the year and living in a nearby but less beautiful area, we will return to taste, in addition to the other polenta offered on the menu (..with gorgonzola and truffle 😋), also the good homemade tigelle, the local cured meats and cheeses and the good homemade desserts (panna cotta, various tarts, etc.) that Miriam prepares daily, I recommend it to you too, if you come to the area and you want to try something special and of quality, without spending a lot of money 😉.

04/01/2025: Piccolo ristorantino ben curato e pulito. Mangiato bene ,prodotti ottimi ,personale gentile i prezzi sono veramente nella norma e onesti..il menù non è vastissimo ma ci sono sono i piatti della zona quindi va bene...ci torneremo sicuramente!

02/12/2024: Che bella esperienza mangiare qui! Abbiamo trascorso un ottimo pranzo, dagli antipasti ai dolci. Eravamo un gruppo di 8 persone e siamo rimasti tutti stra soddisfatti. Piatti semplici e genuini, dai buoni sapori, con poche spezie generosi nella quantità! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente, magari ad assaggiare la pizza (ci dui abbiamo sentito parlare un gran bene)

03/12/2024: Le piadine sono molto buone e generose e sicuramente sono un punto di riferimento in zona. L'ambiente avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata e soprattutto i servizi igienici fanno schifo e cosi messi sono poco rispettosi per i clienti.

18/11/2024: Il locale, che è in una zona residenziale a dieci minuti a piedi dal Tribunale di Verbania, è praticamente una voliera. Ma non si tratta dei luridi piccioni; sarete circondati da piccoli uccelletti carini che non disturbano, se non avete la fobia degli uccelli. Personale cortese ed efficiente, ma soprattutto ho mangiato la migliore piadina della mia vita (nella specie, una TexMex, ma hanno una enorme varietà).

26/10/2024: Mi primera vez que helado, fue delicioso! El personal era amable y servicial también. Volví dos veces durante mi estancia de 3 noches en Stresa.

25/08/2024: Late in the evening we ordered two plates of lobster pasta and 2 bottles of water for €30, very good especially because we arrived late at the restaurant around 9pm. The waitress was very courteous and the owners were also helpful. Unfortunately there was no physical or digital menu. Other than that we would happily return.

06/08/2024: Overall it's fine: small menu with mainly cold dishes and several local wines by the glass or bottle. What I liked a little less was the "inexpensive" prices for the food: it's true, I could have asked for them but, it would be preferable for them to be reported on the board... For the record, 15 euros per dish... I think regardless of the type.. All in all, what is offered is of quality but I would improve the service and pay more attention to the external environment... I still recommend it.

25/11/2024: In merito alla location nulla da dire, ma dovrebbero avvisare che per ragginugerli bisogna percorrere una strettissima strada con ben 29 tornanti strettissimi dove una macchina grande non riesce nemmeno a girare! La strada per la maggior parte è priva di protezioni! insomma si rischia come minimo la macchina, se non anche di finire giù nel bosco scosceso. Quando si arriva su c'è un panorama bellissimo, peccato che la strada ti fa arrivare troppo agitato e non riesci nemmeno a goderti la bellezza del posto! Cibo niente di che, molto dozzinale. Mi spiace ma esperienza negativa e anche molto molto pericolosa!

13/09/2024: Anche quest’anno ho organizzato al Monterosso una due giorni di team working con il mio team di lavoro. L’accoglienza e le coccole della Sig.ra Iside e del suo staff si sono sprecate (come sempre). La location è semplice ma di un fascino speciale. Ti senti immerso in un mondo agreste e bucolico. Ideale per rilassarti o concentrarti sul lavoro che devi svolgere. La cucina è semplice ma ottima. Tutto a km zero. Come al solito ho fatto il pieno di verdura e marmellate fatte in casa…. Super consigliato
