13/09/2025: We're at the Badia di Dulzago, an ancient rural abbey north of Cameri. The osteria is located within this complex and offers good Piedmontese cuisine. Typical grandmother's cooking in a historic, family-friendly setting. We had a Badia appetizer, which is already a dinner in itself, with Duja salami, various cold cuts, a savory pie, spring onions, beans, and an excellent chicken and celery salad...all good-quality ingredients. Next up was Paniscia, rice with vegetables, and soffritto di lardo...really good. I was more perplexed by the leek flan, which tasted more like an omelette...we drank some Nebbiolo and Gattinara, which could have been better preserved. In any case, a good experience with solid and, overall, well-executed cuisine. Generous portions.

06/10/2025: Excellent restaurant with unique and very special dishes. We had an exceptional meat millefeuille and a delicious Bolognese cutlet. The wine selection is excellent. The service is friendly and very professional. Highly recommended!

17/08/2025: A delight! A tribute to the chef... a true culinary prodigy! We were welcomed with great kindness, despite our imperfect command of Italian and our boisterous little boy, and the osteria charmed us with its delicious dishes to die for. We devoured everything with immense pleasure, but I must admit I was blown away by the 300°C melanzana. I usually love eggplant, but I didn't know it could be so delicious, simply cooked naturally and enhanced this way. I'll always want to eat it this way from now on! We're so glad we followed the Google reviews! You really have to come to Grignasco to discover this treasure!

20/07/2025: Excellent food, plenty of sandwiches and generous portions. A wide variety of beers and desserts are also available. Prices are a bit high, but the portions are generous. Service is a bit chaotic and slow, but friendly. The place is nice because it has a pub-like feel, the only downside is that it's a bit too hot. It would be nice to be able to keep things a little cooler in the summer.

08/07/2025: I recently visited Guinness Time on Via Varallo, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The setting is incredibly welcoming, with an atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home, perfect for an evening with friends or a relaxing dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to make service efficient and enjoyable. I enjoyed a truly exceptional burger, accompanied by a fantastic lager, a pairing I highly recommend. My girlfriend, on the other hand, opted for a Guinness, and her expression of satisfaction said it all: it was simply fantastic. The quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparation are evident. In short, Guinness Time is a place that offers excellent cuisine, top-quality beers, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and impeccable service. A true gem on Via Varallo that I recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant and tasty evening. We will definitely be back!

23/07/2025: My tour of typical (Italian) trattorias, not all of which I've reviewed, continues. I finally got to visit Bruschetta di Cavallirio. The first time, I couldn't because there was no room. What can I say? ❓️ As happens in many trattorias that reserve almost every day of the week for a specialty, I happened upon it on Friday, July 17th, the day of the week reserved for fried calamari. The set menu with water, coffee, wine, or soft drink costs €13 with three choices each of first course, second course, and two side dishes. I chose penne all'arrabbiata, fried calamari, and sautéed carrots and peas. Impeccable service, with plenty of waiters in the dining room and a cheerful atmosphere among the patrons. Simplicity and authenticity always pay off...

20/09/2025: One of the better courses in Italy. Course was in great shape, with a good routing. Playability was very good and also fun. Couple of the Par 3’s slightly long but nicely balanced by shorter ones. Very scorable. An amazing pro shop, very helpful staff especially the Caddy Master and team. Definitely worth spending a few days there and playing both the Conte and Bonoro courses

14/09/2025: It's a very nice hotel with a fantastic two-hole 18-hole golf course. The golf course is very well maintained, as is the hotel. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The rooms are very clean.

18/08/2025: A veritable shower of top Calabrian products, stunning platters, enormous with all the highest quality and freshest products, excellent wine, very fair prices, unlimited quality food and drink, all accompanied by the owner's friendliness and helpfulness. I'm from Maranello, but when I'm in Novara again, I'll definitely be back, a guarantee! Anduja!
