18/05/2025: Small, intimate campsite. Few cottages, more trailers and pitches for campers or tents. We were there in May - practically empty - single accommodations occupied. There were no animations, there was no one for them - but I don't know if they are in the season. Unattractive access to the lake. Open restaurant, fresh bread every morning. Right next to the main road is a large hypermarket, a great restaurant on the corner. Most of the time the pool was closed, but it wasn't a problem for us, because we came to sightsee. The cottage was clean, sufficiently equipped. The staff speaks good English. There is nothing to complain about.

28/04/2025: We had a great time, truly a wonderful place! Beautiful, spacious, clean 2-storey apartment. Enchanting view of the lake, tranquility, kindness of the staff. From Meina everything is easily accessible for tourism and discovering the beauties of Lake Maggiore! We will definitely be back! Thanks to all the staff! 05/10/2025: I went on a Sunday evening. Besides the excellent piadinas, I also appreciated the warm welcome from the staff. I had a "delicata" piadina with a perfectly cooked hamburger, and a "Lorenzo" with a fresh and light flavor. Finally, I had a piadina with Nutella and strawberry topping, plated with a little cream. The flavor was delicious. The only piadinas in the area that are truly well cooked and served.

11/10/2025: It's a stunning place, with a sweeping view of the lake, and of course of the fortress, its ruins, and its meadows. But not only that, the beauty and charm of the location don't detract from the quality of the menu. We ordered paniscia (for those who don't know, it's a rice dish with legumes—beans, in our case, but can also be cornetti or other legumes, alone or in combination)—meat, and more. It's a typical dish of the farmers of the Novara rice fields, where the inevitable rice was accompanied by whatever was available. Then, more rice, but with porcini mushrooms. Two identical dishes? Not at all. Rice, yes, but prepared differently: one "rustic" (paniscia) and one more, let's say, "snobbish" (porcini). Both very well prepared! Washed down with an excellent white Roero DOCG. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to offer advice. Reservations are highly recommended.
