A restaurant with good, generous dishes. Tried both weekdays and Sundays.

We ate at the restaurant. The food was okay, but it wasn't good value for money. The service was rather unfriendly by Italian standards. Overall, it was alright, but we wouldn't go back.

Excellent hospitality, rooms with everything you need. Bathroom needs updating but works well. Friendly staff. A generous breakfast, with both savory and sweet options, was prepared right at your table. I found it to be a very good option.

Shari Switzerland Score of 10 10 Review date: May 16, 2026 A very welcoming stay. Super kind and welcoming staff. Super attentive to the smallest details, especially for our 2-year-old. It's very rare to find a place where children are given the right amount of attention. The room was very cozy, with a bed in which we slept AMAZING!!!! When we woke up, we went downstairs for breakfast. And what we found was a table laden with delicious, fresh food, from sweet to savory. From biscuits... to cakes... muffins... fresh fruit salad. All homemade and delicious. We also found very good cheeses and cured meats. In the evening, we always dined at the restaurant, where we found delicious traditional dishes. You can see the love that comes from the kitchen, as the dishes are prepared with such care. If you see Ravioli del Plin on the menu, don't hesitate to order them. Even our little one loved them. We stayed here away from the chaos. It's not far from Stresa... it's a great option for visiting Pallavicino Park and the Borromean Islands. I highly recommend it!!!! You'll also find a small playground with a swing, slide, and a carousel where the little ones can have fun. We'll definitely be back to see what the bad weather unfortunately prevented us from seeing. Despite the rain, it was a WONDERFUL family stay. Thanks to all the staff.

From the outside, you wouldn't know it... Inside, it was a surprise... a nice dining room. We had a very pleasant lunch. Friendly service and good food. We'll definitely be back.

My exploration of Genzianella in Miasino wasn't my usual gastronomic experience, and Watson wasn't there with me. Furthermore, I didn't visit this hotel restaurant for Saturday dinner, but for a midweek business lunch. I discovered that this historic restaurant overlooking Lake Orta is very popular at midday, with workers, tourists, vacationers, and regulars who prefer to come here rather than having to prepare their own meals, and can do so by spending little and eating well. In fact, a first course, a second course, a dessert, and a coffee cost €14.50, which becomes €15.50 if you include a quart of house wine. All the dishes are excellent, and no matter what I ate, tomorrow's menu will be different, but always prepared with care and simplicity. The restaurant itself also has the same style: simple yet refined. Perhaps that's why Genzianella is always sold out, and I recommend booking if you want lunch at midday. The staff, incredibly fast and courteous, works wonders, but they can't quite manage to accommodate as many people.

Very good restaurant. Quality food, generous portions, and very fair prices. Friendly staff. It's a shame that from the outside you can't tell that the restaurant caters to non-hotel guests (though they might be full in high season). We tried it because it was recommended to us by our hotel in Orta San Giulio. Recommended by us too!

Excellent restaurant with convenient parking in front. The staff were kind and courteous. Very good food. The final bill was in line with the service provided.
