Surrounded by greenery, in this fortress (where I left another review for the fortress) a place that is under attack, if you have to eat at midday, in this place with a crazy view, it would be best to book before getting there, otherwise you will have to wait for a long time and maybe not even find the possibility to sit down. However, if you bring a towel and request 2 sandwiches you can eat them lying down for a nice picnic overlooking the lake.

Place with lovely views and exquisite dishes at economical prices. If you want to spend a peaceful day on Lake Maggiore, La Corte della Rocchetta is the perfect place. Discovered by chance, I left with beautiful memories of Arona.

I was very amazed by the location: we arrived on a sunny day and from the refreshment area we could admire a wonderful view of the lake and Arona. Furthermore, the food ordered (a pinsa, pizzoccheri and polenta) was very good and above all quite cheap considering the place. Once lunch is over you can relax in the meadows below and roll around on the grass.

Posto davvero bello e suggestivo, panorama e spazi aperti non mancano. Cucina just ok. Piu un bar che un ristorantino, prezzi ok tutto sommato. Consigliato!
