Bar and restaurant at the top of the rock with a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. Excellent selection of cocktails and beers. Snacks are not served with aperitifs. We had to order a pinsa on the side. The beer and pinsa were very good, a little pricey, but I think you pay for the magnificent view. Friendly and helpful staff. I recommend it especially for enjoying a relaxing moment with a unique panoramic view.

It's a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious platter of meats and a good beer. They also offer a few carefully prepared dishes, as well as simple sandwiches, perfect for those who want to stop and admire the fantastic scenery. The staff are young, fast, and very friendly. Reservations are recommended for weekends and holidays.

We stopped here for lunch before arriving in Stresa for our holiday. The service was impeccable. The restaurant has a superb view of the lake. We were on the terrace with our dog, who was very welcome. We ordered a salad, a pinsa, and some toast. Everything was delicious, the pinsa was excellent. The passion fruit spritz was very good. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend this little gem!

The place is truly beautiful and tidy, the food is high-quality, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. It's located in a green spot with a clear view of the lake. In my opinion, it's the most beautiful spot in Arona! Also recommended for events!

Il Barone Birra

08/03/2026: Tucked in suburban Novara, Il Barone Birra is a great little escape. It is a short walk, however, from centro Novara. Great selection of beers with friendly assistance on selection. The "local" is small and intimate, however, noisy which made conversation difficult. One needs to book for dinner. Food was very good, however the meals did not come together. My only real criticism, despite booking, was that we as a family with adult kids were rushed through our meal and out the door because unbooked clients were waiting for a table to free up.

08/03/2026: Superb pastries and excellent coffee. Prices are above average, but it's worth it. I don't recommend going on weekends because it gets crowded.
07/03/2026: I was there 15 days ago, more or less everything was delicious, both the chocolate and the pastry and the cake, I will definitely go back.
