18/06/2025: We ate here for a quick lunch. We had two piadinas (one with grilled vegetables and mozzarella and the other "vegetarian" with tomato, rocket and mozzarella). We spent €17 for two piadinas and a small bottle of water. They were both tasty, generously filled and well cooked until crispy. Quality ingredients and reasonable prices. Unfortunately there is no bathroom. However, they have various types of dough to choose from and a wide range of fillings. Today in particular, the piadinas with wholemeal dough, kamut or paprika were available. Highly recommended! We will gladly return.

Il terrazzo vista lago è certamente la killer application di questo ristorante ma siccome ha pochi posti vi consiglio di prenotare per essere certi godervi la vista incantevole! Cucina del territorio (Lago e Monti) nella media, senza particolare carattere!

05/06/2025: Nice restaurant on Lake Maggiore. Lots of tables inside. The tables on the verandas are charming with a nice view of the lake. The furniture is a bit dated but spacious. Food cooked very well, with lake fish dishes. Not abundant dishes. Small parking lot.

03/03/2025: Laura and Samuele are two true professionals. The food is excellent and Laura is a person full of energy and innovation! We chose this location for our wedding and I highly recommend it!

18/11/2024: Rispetto al passato (l’anno scorso) a nostro avviso c’è stato un notevole peggioramento. Il menù è praticamente sempre lo stesso, ma, non andandoci spesso, non è una nota particolarmente negativa. Quello che ci ha deluso è la preparazione dei cibi che è stata decisamente poco curata. La cipolla, per esempio, era di una qualità meno pregiata di quella che eravamo soliti trovare (seppure sia indicata come di “Cureggio”) era più piccola, cruda e mancava assolutamente di sapore soprattutto se paragonata alla precedente versione con la (necessaria) salsiccia alla quale eravamo abituati (il prezzo di 16 euro, nella versione proposta, è oltretutto eccessivo). Anche la calamarata era cruda e con un condimento (crema di broccoli, perché il resto era “non pervenuto”) “senza arte né parte”. I secondi invece ben fatti, ma non tali da potere recuperare la delusione. Forse è stata una “serata no” dello chef o magari quest’ultimo non era più lo stesso dell’anno scorso.

16/06/2025: Disappointing experience poor food, forced us to take the appetizer of which was simply affection salami and cheese €11 per person which honestly, I took the tagliatelle with wild boar because I make rice with beans at home. It arrived with the tagliatelle overcooked in a broth of oil, water, cream or milk you couldn't tell, it was a completely unrelated mixture the wild boar seemed chewed. 🤢🤮 We were 10 people and a 9 year old child who ate little to nothing and they understood him as an adult by charging the full amount. We paid an exorbitant amount. The owner is rude and rude. A real disappointment, I don't recommend it to anyone... (my ex-husband cooks wild boar better)

13/04/2025: A very nice and welcoming little restaurant own by a group of very kind and hospitable Pakistani men. The food is delicious, tasty and spicy. Ideal place for both a quick bite or a more relaxed and large meal. Mr. Shoaib and his staff take you to a journey to the Subcontinent.

19/03/2025: Restaurant discovered through an Indian friend. We had the vegetarian samosas to start and then butter chicken, mutton korma and chicken biryanj served with plain, butter and roghni naan cooked in the tandoori. All very tasty and genuine! The dishes arrived within a few minutes. Absolutely must try!

17/05/2025: We stayed at the Agriturismo-Altana del Motto Rosso from 15/05 to 17/05/2025 for two nights, two dinners and two breakfasts, everything very good and genuine, for this we thank Mrs. Simona for the more than positive treatment both for the food and for the very large and very clean rooms. The Agriturismo is in a good position and is about 2 km from Gattico so you can enjoy a lot of tranquility surrounded by nature. Bogetti Vincenzo

30/04/2025: Comfortable farmhouse in a fantastic position for access to lakes or beautiful walks in the woods; lots of greenery around and everything very well looked after. Simply furnished and functional. In my opinion, breakfast needs to be improved by introducing local and artisanal products. Possibility to bring your pet

12/06/2025: It was born as a takeaway pizzeria but there are also some tables inside where you can eat. The environment is simple and spartan but clean. The staff is very kind and the service is very fast. The pizza is excellent, the ingredients are of excellent quality and the topping is abundant. Price in line and consistent with the product offered. Recommended :)

19/06/2025: 3 days in Northern Italy Italian Lakes! We had the absolute best service from Lucia a young lady getting ready to graduate from the university! She was helpful in us choosing our wine selection, as well as food choices. She was always ready to fill our wine glasses. Extremely attentive and friendly. The food is amazing! Perch raviolis, Spaghetti with clams & mussels, started with a shared vegetable crudities with a raspberry vinaigrette and the best Tiramisu for dessert! 5 Stars! Highly recommended Thank You, Karen & Doug

12/05/2025: Family dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. Despite two elderly people with walking problems and a baby's stroller, they placed us on the upper floor having to climb two flights of stairs, with some discomfort, no possibility of a lift. We arrived at 7.30pm they took the order at 8.30pm, an hour after our arrival, started eating, I mean all pizzas, at 9.45pm. While we were eating dessert the waitresses pulled up the chairs at the tables around us to clean things up, I found it really distasteful. When we arrived at the checkout, despite the various inconveniences, all declared to the staff, they made us pay for the cover charge for a 4 month old baby, obviously kept in a stroller and not sitting at the table. Good food but terrible service and waiting times. Never again.

11/06/2025: We stopped at this restaurant during a lunch break. What can I say... excellent food, really very tasty dishes and quality ingredients. Appropriate waiting times. The place is very nice, simple in its furnishings and definitely in line with the name. It really feels like being in a restaurant on the coast. It is not huge, so the advice is to book, especially on weekends. It is not a cheap restaurant, but the prices are definitely in line. The octopus is truly exceptional!! One of the best I have ever eaten.

13/06/2025: I visited the pizzeria recently and was impressed. The food was delicious — the pizza had crispy dough, fresh ingredients, and great flavor. The service was friendly and quick, and the place was very warm and inviting. A great place to eat with friends or a family outing.
