08/11/2025: A well-stocked store with niche products, but prices are a bit steep. What leaves me perplexed is that no one has ever told the counter clerk (the one in charge of the meat) that it's not okay to eat while working. Every time I go to this store, He's always there, munching on something. And, honestly, it's not a pretty sight.

22/11/2025: Terrible You order a pizza at 7 PM and by 9:30 PM there's not even a single pizza!!! I called them 5 times, one of which got really angry because I'd specified that there were two children at home so they shouldn't be too late, and they, in a superficial manner, tease you by saying the delivery is coming soon, but instead you wait another hour... it's 10:30 PM and the pizzas still haven't arrived. Obviously I cooked because everyone was hungry and I even called them to tell them!!! But nothing... they keep teasing you, saying: you're right, the guy left... but the pizzas never arrive! Finally, they arrive cold, hard, and incredibly salty!! The sauce is so salty because I tasted it... I mean, you must be eating badly after waiting 4 hours!!!! Pizzas and money wasted Never again! And obviously I don't recommend it!!

09/10/2025: Little back story and a lot of substance, for those who don't care about appearances but only about good food, this little restaurant is highly recommended, it's not just the food that is genuine but also the management.

23/10/2025: Nice place, the only flaw being that it's a bit noisy, perhaps due to the large crowd that evening. It's worth it, though, as I found the pizza to be very good and well-cooked. I recommend it.

18/10/2025: We went to this restaurant for a birthday party with 20 people; we found the pizzas cold, with limited choices, and very, very slow service. The real gem, however, came when we got the bill. €500 demanded in a single transaction. THIS IS ABSURD IN 2025! When we pointed out the high price for a single person at the cashier, we were met with a very unpleasant joke: "Why don't you have €500 on your account?" Never again.

17/10/2025: I've been missing it for a while, unfortunately it's no longer the Fiorio ice cream I remembered. Nutella flavor, which I didn't even see from afar, bitter aftertaste. Too bad.

06/10/2025: I bought a tub of takeaway ice cream...excessively priced for the perceived quality of the product, the pistachio flavour was very disappointing and seemed to contain water...I wouldn't go back.

07/09/2025: I ordered four pizzas for takeout. They delivered on time, very good pizza, and average prices. A great experience.

24/05/2025: Very small pizzas I waited a long time even if I ordered the baby pizzas they weren't that small I advise you don't go there they don't even know how to make a receipt

23/08/2025: Basic Sardinian food, everything is excellent, a lot of it is homemade and the room downstairs has a wonderful view of the forest.

20/08/2025: As for the food, we can't say anything, but the welcome leaves a lot to be desired. If they don't know you, they don't take you into consideration, and in my opinion it should be exactly the opposite: welcoming and friendly towards all customers, with particular attention to new ones.

16/11/2025: Excellent pizza with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. So tasty I even ate the crust 😋 (something I don't usually do). I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, an exceptional, humble, and very professional person. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended!!!

31/08/2025: The food is overpriced, the portions are really small. The staff is rude. The photo clearly shows the price and the quantity of ravioli. €15 for 12 ravioli. More than a euro per ravioli: ridiculous. They also charge a cover charge, even though it's self-service. If you're looking to close up shop, this is a more than reasonable option. I gave it two stars because the interior of the refuge is architecturally beautiful.

26/03/2025: We were there for dinner. Atmosphere is SUPER, you can reach it with a 20 mins ride on a snowmobile that is per se a super cool experience. Food was good, in line with what you would expect from a chalet on top of the mountain, it did not disappoint but nothing was WOW. Service was superb and the waiter was very helpful and accomodating

28/10/2025: Got a Kürtőskalács takeaway, lots of beef, quite long preparation time, not cheap

02/08/2025: A place with poor hygiene... just look at the tiles behind the hood and the trays with sugar inside... waited 20 minutes for an overcooked kurtos... the man who prepared it without gloves or a hair cap... alternated between turning the kurtos in the oven, wiping the sweat from his forehead or removing his hair from in front of his face... all WITHOUT GLOVES AND WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS....

19/05/2025: Assolutamente da evitare! Uno Spritz (se così vogliamo chiamarlo) servito con solo delle patatine sgranate come fossero "residui" e un "Bicierin" a soli €12,50 Ma per favore, almeno fate le cose come si devono!

04/05/2025: Un bar come tanti, un servizio come tanti, prodotti mediocri, porzioni minime solo i prezzi sono da 5 stelle. Un classico locale dove vedono il turista come un pollo da spiumare.

06/05/2025: Esperienza sempre positiva all’Orto del Frate. Ci torniamo spesso ogni volta che saliamo, sia in coppia, in famiglia o con amici. È uno di quei posti dove sai cosa aspettarti: cucina semplice, porzioni giuste, ambiente rilassato. Il locale non è particolarmente caratteristico, ma è comodo e piacevole, perfetto per una pausa dopo una giornata sulla neve o per una cena informale. Niente di memorabile, ma mai una delusione. Un punto fermo affidabile a Sauze.
