21/08/2025: In complete disregard of the law, there's no menu displayed, or worse, no printed menu! The dishes are merely listed, so prices are kept in the dark. And while this is a completely illegal practice, one could overlook it for honest prices, but this is a rip-off! Four people, one dish each, and a €16 bottle of wine: a final bill of €185! The food isn't bad, although, as the staff repeatedly stated, "not plentiful and simple," rather ordinary. Extremely limited choice: just one appetizer, three first courses, and four second courses. To be avoided.

10/08/2025: Located on the seafront, opposite the ferry dock for the Aeolian Islands, not far from the beautiful Milazzo beach, it has a good location, although parking is a direct consequence. The rooms are small but clean and equipped with the essential amenities for a peaceful stay. The staff is very friendly. It's a shame about the breakfast, which is unfortunately not very plentiful or varied.

23/09/2025: We stopped for brunch at this delightful café while touring Turin. We had an absolutely positive experience. The staff is very friendly. The menu offers various snacks, some cold dishes, and salads. I highly recommend the iced coffee paired with one of the hazelnut pastries.

27/11/2025: After 45 minutes spent looking for a free study room at the Polytechnic, I enter Mixto to study while I eat. I ask the clerk if I can study on the almost empty lower floor: she says yes, as long as it's free around 11:30. Perfect. After 10 minutes, a waiter arrives and tells me the exact opposite: "You can't study here." I explain the agreement with my colleague and point out that there's no room upstairs. Nothing. His reply: "Go to the study rooms." I repeat that there's no room anywhere. At this point, he completely loses his temper, raises his voice, and kicks me out. A customer who just paid, treated like an inconvenience. Zero professionalism and zero respect. And it's not even the first time this employee has behaved in a truly careless manner with students, so the surprise is slight. In short: I don't recommend it. It's not a reliable place, and there are bars in the area that treat their customers with much more seriousness.

09/09/2025: I ordered three pans of takeout pizza... What can I say? Everything was simply PERFECT. When I ordered the pans, I was assisted and advised in a very kind and professional manner. When I requested a specific time and place for delivery, I was told there would be no problem, and that was exactly what happened. The pizzas arrived super punctual, piping hot, and were much appreciated by everyone. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND EXCELLENT QUALITY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

02/11/2025: I was at the Amantea fair, I happened upon this place, I wanted to pay by card, even a small amount, but I was told the POS wasn't working. It seems absurd to me that a merchant doesn't have a working POS for payments, and the bathroom is out of order. An experience to forget.

The wines were included in the menu, except for one that was off-menu. The wines included on the menu were limited to two bottles for eight people. When the host took our "à la carte" order, he didn't bring a menu with prices, but a small table with dishes they had written and listed verbally, without being able to see the prices. We all chose (the people off-menu) something, with blind pricing. We arrived at the end of the meal and were told that the amaros (commercial ones, such as San Simone, etc.) were free. However, when it came time to get the bill, a small, handwritten, squared piece of paper arrived, listing the total price of the bill, €450, without any of the details or pre-billing that cash registers usually provide. Unhappy with the service, the poor food, and the lack of clarity on the bill, we asked for a detailed pre-bill, and instead, another A4 sheet of paper arrived with a handwritten price breakdown, with no menu price comparison. However, the amaros that had been said to be free actually appeared on the bill. I'm publishing the bill as an attachment. It's a shame because the food is good, the place is nice, but the management is not. It's always a shame to write reviews like this. We hope this point is taken into account so we can improve and be more transparent with our customers.

29/09/2025: Highly not recommended... you eat so little and pay so much... there's no price list where you can see the prices of the various dishes, and at the end they give you a bill on a blank sheet of paper without having any objective confirmation of the actual prices. Basically a huge rip-off... the mushroom menu says drinks are included, but when we arrived, wine wasn't available... the owner brought us bottles of wine whose real price we never found out because there was no price list. Bad experience... never again...

28/08/2025: Ordered the set menu which started amazingly well with a generous portion of cut meats/sausage, followed by a great pasta dish with deer ragu. The secondi was unfortunately a very hard and chewy piece of roast, and as I have heard a microwave beep before it was served, I guess it was not fresh. The dessert mentioned in the set menu was supposed to be 'based on seasonal availability', but the super very friendly staff, who was patient with us non-italian speakers, gave us a handful of options to choose from. We had Tiramisu and profiteroles, and had bad surprise when the bill stated 2x dessert on top of the set menus. The language barrier made us not discuss, but if the set menu says there's a dessert included, I'd expect it to be so. I'd recommend the restaurant but either with a la carte choices or clear communication towards the staff :-)
