23/03/2025: Furnishings a bit old-fashioned, but completely functional. Very professional and clean. Friendly reception. I was allowed to park my bike safely in the former restaurant. Cozy lounge by the warm fireplace. Very good location on the motorway, but still very quiet. Breakfast is typically Italian, but personally a little lacking in nutrition for me. Good value for money. Suggestions for improvement: Expand the breakfast offering to include fresh fruit and (whole grain) bread.

16/05/2025: Had dinner this evening with a friend, lovely place very well kept excellent dinner and service. Well prepared dishes the rice cake top. Good desserts. Recommended for sure and the garden is splendid.

28/07/2025: I could title this story, or if you prefer, this experience, "It happens in Biella." If you find yourself needing a pizzeria or a restaurant, the first thing we generally expect is to expect at least one of these places to be open. I don't know by what alchemy or coincidence, but after walking around the city I found all the pizzerias strictly closed. On one day, I didn't even suspect it. I asked the GPS in the car and it took me to Pizzeria La Piramide. The only place that was definitely open and available, especially at 10 pm. A true rarity. I was served very quickly, but when I received my pizza, besides finding the usual knives that didn't cut, I found a really good pizza, even if the size was questionable. I washed it all down with a small beer. I have to thank these gentlemen for welcoming me to their place at such a late hour. Thank you. The only downside is that you have to be careful not to finish your dinner too quickly, because they'll take your plate away in less than two thousand seconds... Could it be the late hour? Rating 7.5

18/08/2025: We booked a triple room for Ferragosto, almost at the last minute, and despite the time of year, the price for one night was more than fair, including breakfast (at the partner bar next door). The building is relatively new, and it shows in the amenities it offers. The room was good, with adjustable air conditioning, a bathroom, and a small closet. Friendly staff. We booked to spend a couple of days in the mountains—Monte Rosa is about 30 minutes away—but it's also suitable for business travelers, as it's close to the Simplon highway, which connects to the A26.

29/07/2025: An unforgettable experience! Motel located between abandoned factories and a bus depot. The rooms were clean but dated, which is a compliment. The air conditioning didn't work, and the windows couldn't be opened due to the huge number of mosquitoes. We asked to bring our bike (sparkling clean) to the room, but they said no, instead having it put in a garage they called "sucuro"... The next morning we went downstairs and found the famous "sucuro" garage located at the back of this motel, completely open and unsupervised! Breakfast was at an adjacent bar, not very clean, but very casual.

14/08/2025: Excellent restaurant/pizzeria. Fast and friendly service. Good prices. Outdoor dining available. Quiet atmosphere. Parking. Family lunch: appetizers, gnocchi with Gorgonzola, Piedmontese agnolotti, macaroni with beetroot sauce, pecorino cheese, and pistachios, pan pizza. All very good. Recommended!

03/09/2025: We had an excellent meal at this little restaurant. The produce was fresh, the wine was excellent, and the waitresses were very friendly and made the effort to speak to us in French. I highly recommend this restaurant.

01/09/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our dinner here. We only went because the restaurant we intended to go to was not open as advetised. The service was excellent, no problems with us sharing a first plate. Extra points for bread so fresh the waitress had to warn us it was still hot (and the use of "natural yeast" was impressive). At first we were concerned that the dishes were too unusual, but everything worked well together. It's situated up an alley, so the ambiance is not as impressive as other places nearby, but the meal was very satisfying.

31/08/2025: When a simple dish like polenta is made with exceptional ingredients like ancient 8-row corn flour, the result is exceptional. Excellent staff and a refined mountain setting. To top it off, an incredible zabaglione.

22/08/2025: We've been to this restaurant many times, and it was always delicious! They've probably changed chefs, because the food today wasn't up to par with what it used to be... I'm really sorry, because it used to be a regular for us! My girlfriend had the polenta concia, which was very grainy and really not very good. I had a rib-eye steak, which unfortunately was very fatty and poorly cooked, not very tender... It wasn't good quality! Again, I'm really sorry, because we really liked this place!

02/07/2025: A place that is a guarantee. As always, I read the reviews before putting mine, this is because it always strikes me to see that the worst reviews come from a public that is very pretentious and know-it-all. Here you will not find ostentation, every dish is fresh and exudes care. I am strongly in love with the simple decorations on the plate and the plates full of food. It is truly all done with experience and professionalism. The cleanliness of the place, kitchens and services is obsessive to say the least. The owner, certainly not a kid, brings with clear and friendly true professionalism a place worthy of applause. I sincerely hope that it does not "modernize" because this is its great and true strength. Abundant dishes, fresh products, courtesy, the right balance in the room between professionalism and friendliness. Maybe to enjoy the evening 100/100 you need to be a little more polite and friendly (I'm talking about the customers, the little bastards) I fell in love 🥰

23/08/2025: The fish portions are small for the price. A liter of wine is overpriced (it costs less in Bardonecchia). The atmosphere is clean and the staff are friendly. Avoid.

08/04/2025: The restaurant serves excellent quality and well-cooked meat. I found the service a little rushed even though there weren't many of us in the restaurant. The wine can be chosen directly from the furniture of the restaurant. Nice idea even if not very practical and you risk choosing hastily.
