15/08/2025: The food is certainly good, but I felt like I was treated differently from the others... our table of four was served with a platter missing some cured meats, which were actually on the platters next to them... and the amount of food delivered to our table was smaller than the one served to the next table of four. The prices are honestly high... as for the quality of the food and the speed of delivery, there's nothing to complain about... I'm sorry I felt treated differently... all guests should be treated equally.

31/07/2025: We loved our experience in Balik during our vacation in Torino. We selected a pizza a pasta alta (Océano) with 4 different flavors and it was amazing. The service was marvelous as well. We had opportunity to practice our por italian and hear some words in spanish. Hopping to go back.

23/08/2025: A very pretty and pleasant refuge. The owners are very kind, and the rooms are very clean! Dinner is a pleasant experience with a surprise menu every evening. Cons: A very, very big negative about breakfast: (photo) 4 thin slices of bread, 2 extra-thin pieces of cake, and industrial tea. While they sell beautiful homemade cakes and herbal teas made with local herbs up above, it's a shame compared to other refuges in the area... it's possible to have a more substantial breakfast for €10 with two cold hard-boiled eggs and a few slices of cheese. For lunch, €7 is a thin foccacia sandwich with almost no cheese 😅 A small warning: our room was next to the rest room, and even though we were lucky enough to have a large room for two, it was very noisy whenever someone took a shower. An annoyance was that they no longer had Wi-Fi due to the village festival earlier in the season, and there was no mobile signal inside the refuge. A very pleasant experience, in a beautiful little village, but the value for money was not up to par as it was too expensive.

20/08/2025: We had lunch here while passing through, and since it was August, we had lunch outside. The location is informal, cute, and pleasant. The staff were very kind, the food was good, with just a few items, but all authentic, made directly by them. I recommend it!

30/08/2025: We had lunch on Saturday, having booked 15 minutes in advance while we were wandering downtown. The place is cute, with a renovated porch, friendly and welcoming staff, excellent and generous portions, and tables for two are a bit cramped. Recommended.

26/07/2025: Very good food, the menu changes frequently, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended. Gluten-free options are available. I'm celiac, and they seemed reliable regarding cross-contamination, but I recommend asking.

12/08/2025: We booked this restaurant three weeks before our visit. However, on the day of our arrival, even though our reservation had been confirmed more than once, it was closed. A message would have been nice to let us know and avoid unnecessary travel!! It's a shame, considering the culinary quality and all the positive reviews; we didn't expect this. Best regards.

27/05/2025: In 4 people, we made the giropizza, truly exceptional and perhaps reductive to call it giropizza. The final dessert was also excellent.

03/03/2025: We went to this pizzeria that recommended the farmhouse where we were staying in the area! The proposal is really varied because there are more doughs to choose from and many ingredients to combine! We took their dough but the others also inspired us! It's thicker with a great texture and served on a wooden cutting board! The pizzas were fabulous and also the people who work in this place, all very kind♥️ but opening a branch in Turin too?!?!

30/08/2025: I have known and frequented this place for years, this evening I was very disappointed, the only nice thing was the Italian girl at the cash register who apologized to me and I explained what had happened, I am allergic to mushrooms, and I already said it when I ordered because I asked if they were present in the vegetable ravioli, I order the rest, including the eight grilled jewels, and no one tells me anything, neither the owner nor the other waitress because we had asked for information from both of them, they bring them to me, I eat two pieces and find a mushroom, (they don't put them in all restaurants and since the waitress hadn't told me I thought they weren't there) I have it sent back and I wanted to change the dish imagining that they would just pretend to remake it, but after two minutes she tells me that they had already remade them and that it was not possible to change, I eat almost half the dish and another piece of mushroom appears, probably they tried to remove them but 1 the dish for me was now contaminated 2 it is not correct because if I tell you that I'm allergic, don't bring it to the kitchen, remove the 2/3 pieces that are there and bring it back to the table, a severe allergic person dies, anyway in the end I got up and went to pay because I had to immediately take the antihistamine that I had at home, the girl at the cashier was very sweet and apologized for what happened and didn't charge for the dish. I explained to her what had happened and she was incredulous too... you have to be careful because I'm not a severe allergic person (I don't go into shock) but a severe allergic person risks their life. You have to write down the ingredients of the dishes since the waiters don't speak Italian well and don't understand what you ask for.
