06/10/2025: Lots of delicious choices to satisfy even the most greedy. I only found the price of the loose chocolates a bit high. The service was excellent and very friendly. A nice touch: the manager, wearing a hat, looked more like a tourist than a worker. Perhaps a badge or uniform would help distinguish him better.

12/10/2025: Pizza and dessert with friends. Delicious. All four of us ate and raved about the quality and preparation of the pizzas. The prices were fair and the place was honest: I asked for the peppers to be removed from my pizza and they took €1 off the total on my bill! Excellent beer. The only downside was the crowd. Definitely make sure to book in advance. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

11/10/2025: I don't recommend it at all. We sat down at the table at 8pm and they served us at 10pm even though we had two small children and a pregnant woman. 02/09/2025: The food is excellent. This is the trattoria of the past. During the week, the menu is limited to one appetizer, one first course, one second course with side dish, an addition that can be a small omelette, a bottle of wine (white or red), bottled water, dessert, and coffee. So, the fixed menu. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, it doubles in size, and everything is delicious. The tablecloth and napkins are made of white cotton. The cost during the week is the same as a sandwich and a beer at the bar; it increases on weekends and holidays... but always moderate. The only drawback? In the summer, mulled wine... no ice or ice buckets... but you can survive. Make a reservation because it's always full.

26/08/2025: On Saturday evening, after a day spent trekking in the mountains, we decided to have dinner at this trattoria after evaluating several other restaurants in the area. We read that the restaurant offers several fixed-price menus weekly. The one we were interested in for Saturday dinner consisted of 5 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, dessert, and coffee (I specify that it is not à la carte, so you don't choose; you eat whatever the chef offers that evening). The fixed price per person is €25, and given the freshly prepared food, without preheating, all guests begin dinner at 8:30 PM. Having clarified these simple, but fundamental, restaurant practices, we moved on to making a reservation by phone (this is recommended, as is reading the menu and serving times for lunch (12:30 PM) and dinner (8:30 PM) to avoid misunderstandings or incorrect expectations). A very characteristic restaurant with wooden interiors and furnishings, as soon as you enter you grasp the values ​​of Piedmontese tradition and perceive the flavors of their excellent cuisine under your palate. Home cooking that is expertly and simply enjoyed, dish after dish, allowing us to savor all the dishes offered and even have a few second helpings kindly offered by the owner (honestly, I found him kind and helpful; he always responded politely). The dinner continued in a calm and serene atmosphere where one could breathe in the ancient tradition of Piedmontese trattorias that the place still preserves excellently. Home cooking from the appetizers to the first courses, the second courses (all with flavor combinations that married perfectly with each other, enriching and tantalizing the palate), homemade bread and finally dessert and a good coffee to close the meal full and satisfied. Free parking in the forecourt covers about fifteen cars. Outdoor terrace for dogs that are not allowed inside. I understand from the owner's responses to some negative reviews that often people, unlike us, go full of expectations and without considering the type of place they choose, which perhaps does not fit their target and their needs. Expectations. I'd also like to add that the bathroom is a bit tacky, which some people say is not very clean. It's true that it should be kept clean, but those who use it should also be careful. My deepest sympathy goes to the owner, and my compliments again for the excellent management and excellent food. We'll definitely be back to eat there. We like tradition, and their food, too. My only regret is that smokers don't move a few steps further away (since they just can't resist a smoke) and that they let an unpleasant smell of smoke into the restaurant. We were seated near the counter in the small room near the door.

05/09/2025: The photos speak for themselves: coming to Poretti is always a guarantee! The chocolate is a marvel, capable of conquering every palate... and can we talk about the gelato? It's a must-try at least once a week, it's a treat you can't miss (I admit, I'm biased 😋). Highly recommended!

19/10/2025: Overall, our visit was okay. The burgers tasted good. I don't know if the name "Smashburger" is justified in my case. In any case, my son's fries were lukewarm and soggy. When we asked, the plate was taken to the kitchen and returned the same way. What a disgrace! Only after we spoke to the manager did he take care of it, and we received fresh, hot fries. The manager should talk to his employees about how unacceptable this is, and everyone should be aware that such behavior could lead to a one-star rating. Since the manager apologized and took care of the problem, we're still giving it four stars.

18/10/2025: I can only leave a positive review. A beautiful room with ancient vaults, and the pizzas on the menu are innovative and creative. Well done 🤗 A choice of different doughs, which I personally found myself using in the black version. Wonderful pizza🫨🫨, and above all, separated into slices with a little bowl of heavenly cream in the center😝. Delicious, including the crust (not necessarily a given; I couldn't eat the crust in other places). Another positive note is that they don't waste the toppings. My wife had a pizza with Robiola d'Alba, and it had all of Alba inside 🤭🤭 adorable. The two little girls had pizza with fries and sausage, and they arrived already cut into slices with a basket of fries in the middle to arrange as desired... so much stuff. Kudos to the owners for their attention to detail in the ambiance and the food. A few extra euros on the bill are definitely worth it for the QUALITY and abundance of ingredients. 🔝🔝🔝 Another shout-out for the niche beers that I've only ever tasted at your place; I wasn't familiar with them before. Try the Alba IPA 75cl, a delight for the palate!! Well done, well done, what quality!

02/09/2025: Very friendly and welcoming. You can bring your dog, but he must wear a muzzle, as per regulations. And if you don't have a muzzle? You can eat self-service in their gorgeous garden with no cover charge, or you can park under the trees and let your dog relax in the shade. There's also plenty of outdoor space for him to roam around a bit before heading off again. I highly recommend it!

30/08/2025: Nice and clean place, impeccable service, maybe a little small, so it is advisable to book. Excellent raw materials used, dough too thin for my taste, but perfectly digestible. Good variety in the choice of dishes. Prices slightly above average, impeccable staff. Promoted with full marks!
