10/08/2025: I ate at this restaurant two days ago with my family and took out the pizza the following day using the discount. We really enjoyed the fish, the meat, and even the pizza. One small tip I'd like to point out is to ask the customer if they'd like sesame seeds added to the focaccia (which we ate as a side dish). We had requested a plain one, unaware of any possible additions. The fact is, we ended up with an extra €3.60 on our bill for the sesame seeds. We ignored it because it was very little extra, but I'm offering this tip to avoid future misunderstandings or problems in case someone is allergic.

08/08/2025: The staff were very welcoming, all young and polite, and helpful. The pizza menu was extensive and creative, with spectacular sesame dough and top-quality ingredients. Highly recommended. Well done.

16/07/2025: Arriving in Venice by plane at lunchtime, a friend recommended it to me. Honest management, good food, quality products. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the 1970s, which I like. I recommend it.

11/07/2025: A very good family lunch with plenty of fresh fish. Friendly and helpful staff, generous and well-prepared portions. Prices were reasonable. Excellent house wine.

14/08/2025: Excellent seafood dinner, well-seasoned first courses with abundant fish, which is not always the case. Good value, friendly service.

06/07/2025: I don't understand who could have written a good review when we refused two courses out of four with my Venetian mother horrified by the color and taste of the cod, which the owner also wanted to make us pay for. Embarrassing situation with my mother, bad experience. ANSWER: I was with my mother and my partner, it's been a while, but I wanted to reiterate the review especially for the disrespectful attitude he had towards us and there are three of us who can testify to it.

08/09/2025: Everything just fits perfectly here! Great location, great food, and top-notch service. Prices are a bit high, but okay, what's cheap? The only drawback is that there's only one restroom for each gender. During peak times, you might have to wait a while.

02/08/2025: This place is for connoisseurs only. Completely off the noisy, hyper-Asian Piazza San Marco/Rialto circuit... In a quiet little square, a real tavern! White tablecloth, excellent service. Very good and tasty dishes. Good wine and a perfect atmosphere. 40 to 50 euros/pp. I loved it.

12/05/2025: Agréable découverte gustative avec plats préparés devant nous (ex: pâtes au Parmesan dans la meule). Serveurs sympathiques avec show à l'Italienne !! :-) Très bon dessert avec la fameuse Pyramide de chocolat. Un peu cher pour l'addition globale, surtout pour les plats du jour dont le prix était inconnu.

12/05/2025: This place has their customer service down pat. Everything was amazingly good. The tuna tartar was excellent and different. Interior of the restaurant is awesome

29/07/2025: Excellent pizzas! Tried several times and the dough is superb. I highly recommend it. The price is justified by the quality and it doesn't leave you thirsty at all.

28/07/2025: It was great that you can also order the spaghetti gluten-free - unfortunately, I didn't taste any of the spaghetti vongole; it was completely oversalted.

15/08/2025: I asked my hotelier at ca’segredo where I could get a good Venetian meal. He did not disappoint. My family had a wonderful experience here with the family who owns and operates this restaurant. We had several small plates - the scallops on shell still stand out to me as I write this, years later. You can fall into a lot of tourist traps in this city, this is not one. Eat here.

25/07/2025: I am so grateful I was able to reserve a table at this gem! There is a reason so many return over and over. We were greeted with open arms when we arrived early for our reservation. What an extensive, beautiful wine list! We chose an incredible Gaja Barbaresco. The “welcome bruschetta” was stunning. The tiny peaches in truffle oil!!! Oh my Goodness! The specials of the day were plentiful and made it difficult to narrow down choices. We started with wonderful fresh raw oysters and octopus in tomato sauce. The whole sea bream and cuttle fish were perfectly prepared with gentle seasonings, not overpowering the freshness of the seafood. The atmosphere, so intimate! The staff, impeccable! Thank you Sebastiano for taking such good care of us! I even asked that he sign a book for me…not only did he sign it, but the entire restaurant staff signed as well! If I return to Venice, I will book my reservation here as soon as I book my flight! Again, many thanks!

11/07/2025: Small and noisy, with kitschy and tacky decor. Disappointing food, except for the bread basket. This restaurant caters to Americans. Not recommended for Italians.

03/07/2025: I have been going there for years and have always eaten reasonably well. This year, less good than usual: the staff was not very competent and often rude. In addition, I had a bitter surprise on the receipt for two take-away pizzas... they charged me 2.40 EUR for the pizza box, pretending to be a place setting for a hypothetical table 89. A theft that I would not have expected. When I asked, they told me I could leave the pizzas... Too bad, a dinner there was now a tradition... we will go to Marinara or Ornello where at least the food is good. Big disappointment.

03/07/2025: Great food, unfortunately the experience was ruined by the kitchen staff who thought it best to “apostrophize” (colossal euphemism) the children who were playing in the designated area. Ok it’s hot and working in the kitchen is certainly not pleasant, but….

23/08/2025: A highly recommended local restaurant. Fresh fish and plenty of filling options are served here. Unfortunately, the food is a little underrated due to the overly coarse pieces of the tartar, which is actually quite fine, and the ambiance is a bit overlooked due to the size of the restaurant.

17/08/2025: My first sip of wine in Italy! The service was fantastic. We ordered the seafood risotto (a must in Venice) and the spinach ravioli. Both were delicious- large portions appropriate for the price! We went for an early dinner and was very easy to find a table outside.

16/08/2025: I was particularly impressed by their tuna steak and will definitely be back. The wine was excellent, too.
