05/08/2026: We enthusiastically returned to this restaurant, which, except for last year, we happily visit when we're in Chioggia. Our expectations were dashed. The appetizers were good, but the linguine with three orgasms had an emulsion that was unpleasant and lacked balance. The mixed seafood grill was drowned in oil, and the tuna chunk was truly paltry compared to the rest. We ordered a sorbet; since it was my birthday dinner, we asked for a candle, which we would have put on ourselves, given the difficulty with the sorbet. They never brought us a lighter, claiming they had just started vaping. We could have just asked colleagues or the kitchen instead of ruining what had been nearly impeccable service until then. On the way out, we learned that they had won the four-restaurant contest, as there's a winners' symbol near the entrance. This likely led to a price increase that isn't justified given the lack of amenities necessary to afford such prices. I'm sorry I didn't find the simplicity that made this place unique. I was disappointed when the owner, sitting at dinner, scolded the staff (with the restaurant full) for not properly serving the only table they should be serving, hers and her friends. It left a feeling of unease, given that for the €200 we spent for two, even the average customer should be considered important.

31/07/2026: We arrived in Chioggia in the evening and it was drizzling lightly. While walking, we stopped to make a reservation at the Bacaro, Baia dei Porci. Excellent food and a professional welcome, with Cristina, who lent me one of her shawl jackets, and the very young Simone, who supported us and put up with our requests all evening, always with a smile! If you're passing through Chioggia and want to eat excellent, super-fresh fish...highly recommended! Ombretta and Ivan

10/06/2026: Excellent restaurant specializing in fish (but also meat for those who prefer), spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a beautiful tree-lined garden. Fast and very helpful service. If you're passing through Caorle, it's worth a visit.

The lady with glasses behind the counter deliberately withheld change during the cash payment. It is downright scandalous that they try to rip off tourists in this way. Why not be honest?

18/05/2026: We went yesterday on a recommendation, and I have to say we had a wonderful time. The location is spectacular, we ate right next to the canal, and the staff was really helpful and attentive (I think it was the owner who looked after us). The food was really good, and the service was quick, even though the place was busy. We were really happy, and I definitely recommend it.

It's clear that quality and flavor are paramount here. I'd especially like to commend the exceptionally customer-oriented staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they readily accommodated individual requests. As a guest, you truly feel welcome and well taken care of. The service was attentive, warm, and professional – exactly as you would hope. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

05/05/2026: We were looking for a good restaurant that was open during the off-season. We stumbled upon San Marco by chance. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Incredibly good food, great service, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. A top recommendation in Bibione.

03/05/2026: Very nice food, kid friendly, nice staff. Opened till late, which worked for us as we arrived at Bibione quite late. Bit limited selection for kids, but if your kid love bolognese pasta you good :)

11/07/2026: We came in very hopeful. As a group of 8, 5 of our group ordered the fettuccine with lobster. Needless to say we were disappointed. After being asked if we wanted the fish de-shelled, they gave the pastas with a bunch of shells and no meat. When we informed the waiter, they brought us another dish of the fish with the alfredo sauce, still completely full of shells. The only compensation was a complementary garlic bread which we didn’t even want. On top of this whole experience, we had a live cockroach come out from under one of the dishes when we lifted it, totally freaking us out. The waiter we had tried really hard to be kind and helpful, but the experience was less than satisfactory.

11/07/2026: Terrible food. Ordered pasta with lobster. Very little meat and not fresh. Also carbonara with bacon, not so Italian. Expected guanciale.

15/05/2026: A beautiful hotel, right in the heart of the action. We stayed at the hotel for six nights. All our wishes were fulfilled. The breakfast and the menu in the restaurant were very good. You simply feel at ease. Not to mention the consistently friendly service. Thank you!!

The bar was incredibly uncomfortable and offered no service whatsoever 🫣 After I wrote the review, Sergio from reception approached us to discuss our dissatisfaction and offered to be available to listen to our requests at any time!! That's a good approach!

07/08/2026: Great restaurant with excellent service. Very good prices, excellent Italian pizzas, and to-die-for tiramisu. The waiters and waitresses speak French and are particularly charming. In short, I highly recommend it. 👍

05/08/2026: I traveled to Venice on vacay and a young local jewelry shop assistant directed us here to this restaurant. It was good and they had both outside and inside seating with AC. The pizza was just okay but I loved the authentic atmosphere and the appetizer with the sardine spread was GREAT.
