“A must in Chioggia,” they told us, and then we understood why: excellent cuisine and truly kind and attentive staff! Following a mistake I made with my reservation (for the following day), they were incredibly kind and after just 20 minutes had already prepared a table for us, which they took outside especially for us… what can I say, we will definitely be back to enjoy another delicious fish grill, congratulations 😍

Some dishes were perfect (the fried fish and the spaghetti with clams), others less so, desserts (🥴), the grill was meh. A bit expensive for the average (€240 for 3 with a €30 bottle of wine, 1 appetizer, 1 first course, 3 second courses, and 2 desserts), an honest trattoria with restaurant-like prices.

We didn't appreciate all the dishes; the first courses were excellent, and the mussels and clams in cassopipa were superb; the creamed cod was less impressive. The service was excellent, especially since the power was out for almost an hour. Regarding the prices, even though the location and quality of the ingredients are excellent, I rate them as high.

A very welcoming family dinner, a cozy place with attention to detail. We ate inside (there's room for about twenty people), but they also have outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly, and the dishes were always fresh. The tuna tartar, the mussels in cassopipa, and the ravioli with scallops and shrimp were excellent. We also really enjoyed the spaghetti with clams, with lots of garlic, because we love it. Homemade desserts included a tortelletta with custard and strawberries, and a mousse with cocoa, coconut, and biscuit base. The millefeuille was also very good. Coffee is only served in the regular form; there's no barley coffee. At the end, we had fun voting with tickets each, imitating Borghese's show "4 Ristoranti" (Four Restaurants). It was a great evening for a stroll among the various bridges of the districts, with their signs in the Chioggia dialect, illuminated to further enhance the convivial atmosphere.

The food was beyond excellent, the service beyond excellent, the kindness and friendliness beyond excellent... what can I say, everything was beyond excellent. We celebrated my retirement in the best possible way thanks to you.

We went to this restaurant for my wife's birthday, drawn by the excellent reviews of the food, which I wholeheartedly agree with: the quality of the ingredients and the dishes were truly excellent. Unfortunately, the service and management were not up to par. Despite being punctual and having made a reservation long ago, when we arrived, the assigned table had already been taken. They tried to cover up the mistake somewhat clumsily, seating us at a tiny and decidedly uncomfortable table right at the entrance, dismissing us with a "just turn a blind eye." Noticing our obvious dissatisfaction, they moved us to a suitable table after ten minutes, but kindly asked us to vacate it within an hour and a half. Although we accepted the compromise (we were already on to dessert after just an hour), the truly unfortunate moment came at the end: the waitress approached us and asked if she could add two more guests to our table because it was cold outside. He then quickly retracted the statement, saying he was "speaking while thinking," but the remark was unfortunate and made us feel like unwanted guests, "to be quickly dispatched." We paid and left the table earlier than the allotted time. It's a shame, because the food is worth a lot, but for us, the welcome and professionalism in the dining room are part of the experience, especially on a special occasion.

We dined at La Baia two nights in a row, choosing, of course, different dishes. Both nights we were extremely satisfied. Excellent ingredients. The chef's skill was even more excellent. The service (the girl with the cleavage tattoo) was friendly and not at all intrusive. Attentive, friendly, and present in just the right amount, without unnecessary frills. If we lived in Chioggia, La Baia would become a regular. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
