17/02/2026: We were in Enna to visit the university, looking for a trattoria/restaurant, and we found this on Google. We were hesitant because we'd gone to the wrong entrance and ended up in the back kitchen... There! Better not to go there; at first glance, it's not at all inviting! The place is a bit dated and seems a bit dated. The typical fare is nice, but it also requires the right amount of attention. The waiter, a very kind and helpful guy, was a bit less so! Too present, too close! We ordered an appetizer for three and a first course each. The platter for three wasn't even enough for one person! Two slices of salami! A miniature arancini! Two mini slices of prosciutto—in short, disappointing! The pasta was plentiful, good but not overly so, homemade, just a touch bland! The price was reasonable, but I repeat, a slightly more appropriate platter would have been better! We'll be visiting Enna many times, but we don't plan on eating at this restaurant again.

13/11/2025: We had a great meal here. As a starter, Carpaccio of black pork and raw ham with mozzarella. Then lemon ravioli - the restaurant's specialty - and tagliatelle with pork ragout. Both were absolutely delicious. As were the staff, who were very nice and helpful

23/01/2026: Nothing bad I could say about this hotel it was perfect for my needs. I was visiting portopalo carrying out research for the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment who landed here on 10th of July 1943. The room had everything I needed Desk, good WiFi, ample storage space, safe, spacious bathroom, Sofa, TV, king size bed, decent car park and a balcony looking over Di Capo Passero. I don't speak Italian but the host was patient and we translated through Google translate. Everything was stress free

19/10/2025: We dined here on 3 occasions as we were staying in the hotel, even though we had plenty of options in the area, this was one of the best restaurants around. The service was outstanding. The food was always fresh, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality.

01/02/2026: Very nice restaurant in the center of Catania. It's located in an area where parking is quite difficult. I tried the seafood and I'd say I was very pleased. The staff was absolutely super professional and extremely kind.

05/01/2026: We booked our table here for the last dinner of our mini-vacation in Catania on the recommendation of the owner of our accommodation, and we have to thank her for having had an amazing culinary experience. We chose the selection of seafood appetizers—raw, hot, cold, and fried—accompanied by a small sample of caponata and an excellent basket of bread and sesame breadsticks, and were completely blown away by the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The menu offered many other dishes, but we preferred to stop after the appetizers because, with so many courses arriving, we struggled to finish everything. The final bill was high and average for similarly sized restaurants, but believe me, it's worth it! Highly recommended!

09/03/2026: After a previous experience, we wanted to try this restaurant again, but it wasn't possible due to the dog not being accepted (even after various reassurances). We haven't experienced such a refusal in years. It's a shame, we're disappointed, and we won't be returning. P.S. I'm sorry to be accused of dishonest behavior for not canceling, which I did. I told the lady, who replied that she could cancel the reservation. Evidently, she didn't. Sincerely,

31/12/2025: Delicious lunch! We had lunch on December 31st and were very satisfied. The appetizer was sea bream, Pantelleria salad, and gluten-free spaghetti with clams, which I really appreciated for their deliciousness and the availability of them, given that I'm gluten intolerant. Attentive and courteous service. The view of the Egadi Islands was wonderful! Recommended!

27/12/2025: Traditional Sicilian dishes, from appetizers to desserts, are home-made. The service is friendly and welcoming. It's a truly wonderful place to be and the food is delicious.

23/01/2026: …after dining at this restaurant in the summer, I had the pleasure of organizing a post-meeting business lunch… …I must admit that over time I had lost hope of eating at a seafood restaurant without leaving the table feeling disappointed…there's so much fluff these days, and so little quality and substance in the dishes…. Manueliana's corner, however, rekindled my hopes…and with her take on seafood cuisine, featuring high-quality, generous dishes, she definitely won me over… Manueliana and her staff know how to welcome you, adding style and friendliness as their secret ingredient…a subtle elegance that's noticeable but never makes you feel uncomfortable, and impeccable cleanliness make the restaurant a place you can't wait to return to. I felt like a welcome guest…not a customer…and that only happens when someone puts passion before business…. Thanks again, and see you soon.

02/10/2025: A restaurant worth a detour. Run for 21 years by the couple Manuel, in the kitchen, and Eliana, the hostess. The digital menu showcases beautiful dishes, including antipasti, pronk, and secondi. The dolce are also highly recommended. We started with ravioli filled with fish, presented in a lovely fish sauce. We also had linguine with pink prawns. It came with a superb sauce and beautifully balanced in flavor. We continued with the crispy fresh fish of the day. Perfectly cooked! The same was true for the Scottish steak tagliata. It came with a green salad with some Parmesan and oil. Delicious! We finished with a cannelono filled with ricotta and a warm flan with a liquid pistachio filling. A delicious bottle of Grillo accompanied it, a beautiful white with character. Everything was served with humor and expert advice. A truly memorable place.

09/11/2025: We happened upon this place by chance, and were intrigued by its simplicity and the fresh food counter. We had grilled calamari and breaded prawns, excellent! They were available to take away, but we made do with it and ate them on the spot, along with a tasty first course, accompanied by kindness and friendliness.

16/02/2026: A breath of fresh air in Palermo! Trust me, book here. In a city now bent on tourism, where it seems impossible to eat truly well, this place is a gem. Refined atmosphere, impeccable staff, but above all, the freshest fish! You won't find traditional dishes, but you won't regret choosing it. If we'd had more days, we would definitely have returned to try other dishes. Prices are average, if not low; for four people, two courses each, three desserts, two bottles of wine and liqueurs, €50 each. A GIFT, for the quality of the food!
