28/07/2024: Trattoria-style restaurant near the center of Santa Marina. Nice location, with tables arranged on two levels, a first small courtyard and on the first floor under a patio. There are no indoor tables with air conditioning. Excellent fish, very fresh. On the kitchen side, if you ask for sliced ​​albacore make sure you ask for it medium rare, or they will practically bring you slightly seared raw fish. Another detail: The mussels taken were very good, very clean, but they had a very salty broth, the waiter justified himself by saying that the saltiness came from the mussels, but I would have expected at least a small caress on the final bill. The service was good, but here too there were some small flaws: for example, the dessert was forgotten (the waiter had to remember the order) and the squid finished after having ordered them (and we had to fall back on another dish). Overall a good experience, I would go back.

06/08/2024: I'm sorry to write this review because I usually only do it when I have nice things to say, but honestly I would like to save someone else from the same disappointment as me (due to the high expectations for positive reviews). There are two of us and we sit down at 8:00 - the start of the first shift - when the place is still semi-empty and our dish is served at 8:46 and I think "well, so many people have arrived after us, it's a bit difficult for us "... First course with shrimp and pistachio: spaghetti overcooked, in the sauce there were pieces of hard rostrum or carapace and antennae. Side dish: scapece courgettes which were supposed to be fried (therefore crunchy) as per the menu and recipe but instead arrived cut thick, soft, they don't seem fried but cooked I don't know how and submerged in lots and lots of oil. I sent them back as they are and when they arrived at the checkout they counted them for me anyway (I specified that I had sent them back whole and at that point they removed them from the bill). I honestly don't know if I was particularly unlucky, but I wouldn't go back, sorry.

12/08/2024: A culinary experience of the royal class! We had the pleasure of dining at Donna Patrizia recently and it was an experience I won't forget. From the first minute we were greeted by the extremely friendly chef Giuseppe, who looked after us excellently throughout the evening. Each surprise dish was not only a visual work of art, but also an absolute delight in terms of taste. The ingredients were fresh and regionally sourced and perfectly balanced. Giuseppe explained the individual components to us after each course and impressed us with his sophistication and creativity. Giuseppe also provided excellent advice when selecting the wine and recommended a wine that went perfectly with our menu. Overall, our visit to the Donna Patrizia restaurant was an unforgettable experience. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for excellent cuisine at very fair prices and warm people. Thank you Giuseppe!!!

05/05/2024: Passando nuovamente per Taormina nel nostro viaggio di rientro verso casa, non potevamo non fermarci di nuovo in questo ristorante che ci aveva già due settimane prima rubato il cuore per l'incantevole terrazza fiorita affacciata sul duomo, la gentilezza dello staff e soprattutto la qualità e la bontà di quando servito. Tutto ancora una volta confermato! La "Sicilia nel piatto" e la "norma" superlativi! Super consigliatissimo!

In my opinion slightly expensive for the quantities served, but the food was absolutely worth it. So if you want to have a romantic and quality dinner I highly recommend it

24/07/2024: We had dinner in May 2024. Exquisite food and very fresh fish. Excellent and timely service. Friendly, attentive and courteous staff. I advise everyone not to ask for dishes other than those ordered. Two changes (a girl waiting and a 6 year old boy) I paid 140 euros for them.

04/09/2024: It is fortunate that freedom of speech exists, but it should be taken away from some. Because you can't say anything bad about this restaurant. Beautiful, clean and comfortable room, nice and professional staff and the food nothing short of sublime. We have already been twice in five days and will return again before we leave. The mixed starter deserves an award just by looking at it; the first courses are delicious and plentiful, and the couscous is nothing short of divine. The flavor of the fish is not covered by the seasoning, but rather enhanced. The price is more than reasonable: eighty euros for two mixed starters, two couscous, wine, water and sorbet seems more than honest to me. Thank you for delighting our palate.

15/08/2024: As the name suggests, there is a focus on middle eastern food. All our food was delicious and well presented. The staff were all really friendly. We'd tried to go there without booking one night and ended up booking for the next night, so I'd recommend booking, at least in the busy tourist season. They have a good selection of reasonably priced wines

We tasted an appetizer of tartare, a second course of octopus (al mattone) and the swordfish rolls.
