24/05/2025: Wo gehen Einheimische hin? Wo bestellen die Einwohner aus der Stadt ihre Speisen? In welchen Gerichten ist Fisch primär aber steht nicht im Vordergrund? Hier in diesem Lokal. Bodenständig, super. Netter Service, faire Preise, sehr, sehr gute Qualität. Alle Produkte sind nicht nur einfachhergestellt, sondern sie wurden mit Liebe gemacht.

02/07/2025: I do not recommend. We went there and they told us they will place us in the 3rd row without any explanation. We told them if we can at lest stay in the second row to see the child at the water and uninterested said no. Not friendly staff. We went at the next place and there was no problem to stay closer to the sea. It seems like there is a business interest there. If you are not in it go in other place.

One of the best pizzas we had in our lifetime, We just came back from a tour of the best 30 pizzas in Rome, and the samsara pizza was out of their league, great staff family atmosphere and crazy pizza, definitely come back here ❤️

29/06/2025: A very busy local Osteria serving a constant stream of customers, most local. Traditional local food freshly made and very tasty. Great value. Delicious caponata rich and garlicy, and Busiate fresche con pesto alla Trapanes which exceeded expectations. Great beers and the boss had a great personally.

23/06/2025: Update: Following your response, I would like to point out that telling you that it was “for taste” was gallantry, the fish was so bad that it made both me and my partner feel sick I would add that I felt unwell as soon as I left the restaurant and had diarrhea and vomiting by the time I got back to my accommodation… Do some soul searching and reread my review as a “food blogger” as you called it, I’ve paid you too many compliments. Respectful restaurants not only avoid charging for two menus when only one has been consumed out of disgust, but they also offer sincere and polite apologies… Original: Last night (it was a Sunday) I had dinner at U Palangaru with my partner. As soon as we arrived, the restaurant, in a pedestrian area, looked good, with a relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff. We tried an appetizer consisting of six different “tastes” that were very tasty. First course strozzapreti with prawns, delicious and a dish of linguine with swordfish and prawns; the latter, in addition to being full of parsley to hide the fish not being fresh, we sent it back because we didn't like it; the waiter asked us if we wanted to change the dish, but we gave up because we still had the fried fish as a second course, and having been warned from the beginning that the portions would be abundant. The second course was decent but not exceptional. We gave up on coffee and bitter that would have been included in the menu because we were already nauseated and unfortunately both in the evening and the next morning we both felt bad.. When it came to the bill I had to point out that a first course had been sent back, I was asked if it was a problem with the dish but I preferred to say that we hadn't liked the taste as previously explained; in any case we were charged for two menus, a complete one and a first course, but all in all for €60 I didn't even want to argue anymore. We definitely won't be returning to this place, too bad because the potential is great, all it would take is a little more attention to the kitchen since they certainly know what they're doing in the dining room.
