21/10/2025: We had lunch at this Osteria on a Sunday in October. It's a secluded and welcoming place, the staff are polite and professional, and the food is very good. We ordered a fish parmigiana, which was good but a bit bland. We followed it with a baked grouper with citrus fruits and spinach, which was very good. It's a shame the spinach wasn't enough, and they didn't provide us with the weight of the grouper, which, given that it was fresh and weighed, should have been provided. The only downside is the excessively high bill: €90 per kilo for the fish and €20 for a glass of wine seems excessive to me.

20/10/2025: The service was genuine and warm, and they weren’t pushy to upsell. I appreciated their clear explanation of the catch of the day, including the offer to have the fish prepared in two ways: Sicilian capers and sultana stew, and homemade breadcrumbs. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Kudos to the service team and chef!

24/10/2025: Delightful little restaurant tucked away in a quiet spot. We mainly ordered seafood dishes and all of them were great. The seafood was very fresh and well cooked. The servings were pretty generous compared to what we’ve had in Italy. The hosts were lovely people ensuring everything was going well. Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal and experience

05/10/2025: A simple, rustic, family-run restaurant with a good selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. We had an appetizer and a second course, octopus salad (very tender, the only flaw being the giardiniera salad) and mixed fried fish (red mullet, cod, and calamari rings). The fish was very fresh and delicious. Good value.

09/10/2025: Excellent food, truly delicious, refined cuisine with unique dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Excellent wine list. If you're in the Trapani area, you absolutely must visit this restaurant in Paceco. It's a shame the service was so sloppy. They excused themselves by saying they were having a staffing emergency. However, the kindness never wavered.

07/10/2025: Without a doubt, and after a week in Sicily, this is the worst and most expensive restaurant we've ever had. The pasta, which they sold as fresh, I highly doubt was fresh. Expensive dishes. They also charged us €3.50 for a bottle of water we hadn't ordered, and they didn't serve it to us.

17/11/2025: Super friendly staff and delicious seafood. We had baked breaded balls and fried anchovies? as starters, the grouper for main course and we shared a lemon tart for dessert. Everything was excellent.

16/11/2025: The food was excellent, but the octopus was so tough you almost broke your teeth. The marinated shrimp were very good. The pasta alla Norma was really good, but I left a third of the beef fillet because the meat was sinewy and stringy, although the flavor was very good and the meat was juicy. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. They didn't seem at all interested in us, even though we were practically the only customers. No one asked if we liked the food. The waiter brought the first course when the table hadn't yet been cleared after the appetizer. The staff dragged the tables and placed them next to us, making a lot of noise. We felt like intruders and lost interest in dessert. Maybe it was just a bad day, or maybe they don't like tourists...

10/10/2025: Ristorante da Giovanni was a fantastic experience! The seafood pastas were absolutely delicious, and the view of Isola Bella was breathtaking. A perfect spot to enjoy fresh Sicilian flavors by the sea! 🌊🍝✨ Desert was something special too!

03/10/2025: I was looking for delicious food in Taormina and came across this place after seeing good reviews. The view was amazing, and I was so satisfied with everything I ordered. I especially loved the cool and wonderful service from Matteo💕, so if I had stayed longer, I would have come back again. Thank you for making my Taormina memories so good. These dishes, encountered early in our trip, felt like appetizers to truly enjoy Sicilian cuisine on our future trips. You can fully experience the essence of local ingredients, so if you're nearby, give them a try. ^^
