09/08/2024: The food is very good and the dining room is well decorated. However the waiter (the manager I suppose) is hateful. No smile, doesn't take the time to taste the wine and is brutal in handling the bank card when paying the bill.

16/06/2024: In occasione della festa di Gesù Nazzareno, ho chiesto a una coppia un ristorante/ pizzeria. Mi hanno consigliato Lo Storione. Ringrazio fortemente questa coppia perché ci stiamo trovati benissimo. Personale gentilissimo, cordiali...Con i miei amici e marito abbiamo scelto le pizze . Io ho voluto in più un antipasto misto di pesce. Sia l antipasto che le pizze sono stati buonissimi e con buon ingredienti. Prezzi ottimi. Non vedo l ora di ritornare . Complimentiiiii... lo consiglio vivamente...

26/08/2024: We had lunch here and had some of the best pastas we’ve had in Sicily. There were not a lot of other guests so we enjoyed a quiet delicious meal. The food is incredible!

24/08/2024: Agosto, cena con amiche. Scelgo questo locale su consiglio di un conoscente. Non faccio commenti sull’attesa prima dell’ordine perché comprendo il periodo di maggior lavoro. Ma: siamo in 4 e, dopo l’attesa per prendere l’ordine (secondo turno cena) che, ripeto, non commento, chiediamo almeno che ci portino del pane o dei grissini (visto che si paga un coperto!). “Ma certo signora, portiamo subito!”. Portano 3 pacchi di grissini (siamo in 4!), sigillati ma mollicci. Chiediamo il pane (vista l’attesa ulteriore prevista!) e portano un cestino con n.2 panini (siamo sempre in 4!). N.2 minuscoli panini per 4 persone, gommosi e immangiabili (onestamente ne ho mangiato uno per fame perché digiuna da 1 giorno!). Le fritture di pesce incommentabili!!!! Pesce insapore e impanatura dal sapore stantìo. Quando una di noi chiede al cameriere di parlare col proprietario e di, quantomeno, offrirci un sorbetto per togliere il cattivo gusto lasciato dal pesce, a parte i sorbetti (che io personalmente non ho toccato per principio), non riceviamo alcun riscontro dal proprietario (io sarei uscita, visto la richiesta, almeno per chiedere cosa non fosse andato bene). Morale della favola: non sono il tipo di persona che scrive facilmente commenti negativi (anzi, piuttosto il contrario) ma sono rimasta completamente delusa dalla qualità dei prodotti (PESSIMA!) e dall’atteggiamento di chi doveva, semplicemente, scusarsi per ciò che era stato servito (e per il servizio) in generale. Mi spiace ma sono stata delusa da tutto e non tornerò più.

15/08/2024: Table of 20 people with 4 children under 8 years old. After waiting 2 hours after ordering, when asked for information on the progress of the order, a waiter responded rudely to the diners. Price of the menu of the day (linguine with lobster) not specified from the beginning, with a final surprise on the bill. Alas, I was involved in a dinner/reunion to repeat the same negative review after 5 years. Unfortunately things have not changed.

15/08/2024: Large table of 20 people with children, after ordering we wait an infinity of time after which we try to ask what level of at least the dishes reserved for children were, the staff responds rudely. They should have apologized both for the attitude and for the long wait: serving dinner at 11 after more than an hour of waiting is really rude and embarrassing. Bad experience, I won't go back!

31/08/2024: Personale attento e cordiale, terrazza molto bella, ma la cucina non è all'altezza, per non parlare delle pizze dure con un impasto insapore, peccato perché la location è bella....ma la pizza è da evitare

22/08/2024: Al ristorante Acquadelferro del Best Western Santa Caterina di Acireale, la cena di pesce è un viaggio tra sapori autentici e panorami indimenticabili. Ho degustato un trancio di cernia in guazzetto di pomodorini datterino e basilico che mi ha davvero conquistata. La selezione dei vini completa un’esperienza di gusto unica. Se cerchi il connubio perfetto tra cucina siciliana e panorama da sogno, questo è il posto giusto.

05/08/2024: We booked for four at this place outside the center of Capo d'Orlando on a Monday at the end of July. The restaurant has a part of the indoor veranda and a very spartan open part. When we arrived there were only three tables and despite the three waiters we waited for everything. We ordered pizza in 2 and in 2 restaurants: two pizzas, two appetizers, one homemade and mussel soup, a first course and a mixed grill. The starters arrived together with the first course (it's not clear what the waiter was thinking when ordering) and we were forced to eat everything backwards so as not to wait any longer than we had to. The pizzas have an excellent dough and are thin. For the rest, the effort is appreciated but definitely not up to par, all stuck to an eighties style banquet cuisine concept! I can't comment on the freshness of the fish... Everything was clearly frozen except the mussels. The overrated house starter! Even fried foods without flavor. A disappointment for us! Next time, takeaway pizza only! MAYBE😬

01/11/2023: Très bonne adresse , sur les hauteurs de Cefalu. Vue splendide sur la mer et la ville. Havre de paix sur la terrasse, au calme, avec musique jazzy très discrète. Produits frais et savoureux. Présentation simple et soignée. Prix très raisonnables. Service professionnel: chaleureux et efficace. Café offert. A tester aussi le soir pour profiter des lumières de la ville … Équipe fiable! Merci

21/08/2024: Terrible in every way! We had the unfortunate idea of ​​having dinner at La Mattanza, in the Vergine Maria area, following the advice of a friend. It was clear right away that it would be an evening to forget. The service was nothing short of scandalous: an hour of waiting just to receive the starter, as if the customers' time had no value! The food? A total disaster. Meager portions, poor quality, and prices that border on the absurd for what they offer. But the worst was the owner, a person completely devoid of empathy, who seems to have no interest in the satisfaction of his customers. The staff? Incompetent and not very attentive, as if working there were torture. What can I say, if you want to ruin your evening, La Mattanza is the right place. A restaurant to avoid at all costs. I will never go back there again and I recommend you do the same!

05/08/2024: We frequented this restaurant for two consecutive days. On Sunday, we requested a table in an air-conditioned environment, but the place was unbearably hot, and we sweated during the meal. The food was excellent; we ordered pasta with pistachio sauce and zucchini risotto with shrimp. On Monday we returned and asked to sit on the porch. The atmosphere was pleasant, with good wind circulation, and we opted for other dishes: pasta à la Norma and pasta carbonara. Both were delicious. We also tried the horse meat, and the meatballs were very good. The waiters' service was a little confusing, due to the large number of customers and the difficulty in meeting demand. The price is fair.

28/08/2024: Very good restaurant found by chance after a long walk in Taormina. Good welcome, quiet, fast and friendly service. The linguine vongole is delicious, a downside for the chicken which was not well cooked
