10/02/2026: Got a nice tour through Etna wines, they opened up fresh bottles and server is by glass on what we asked for. Served us local pasta dishes, after 15.00 closing hours.. Amazing food, wine and service.

20/01/2026: We celebrated my father's 70th birthday and couldn't have made a better choice. A welcoming and elegant venue right in the city center. We chose the menu from among the many options available with the owner and chef, Mr. Ficarra, who accommodated all our requests. He's a delightful and helpful person, along with his entire family. The menu was enjoyed by both adults and children, the fish was incredibly fresh and the portions generous. Every detail was carefully considered, from the table decorations to the printed menu as a keepsake. All this was accompanied by impeccable service thanks to the kindness and friendliness of the staff. Thank you for making our day even more special. We recommend it to everyone. We'll see you again soon.

15/03/2026: I wanted to write this review because I really enjoyed it and wanted to let everyone know. I visited this restaurant for Women's Day, and even though it was packed and a bit crowded due to the special occasion, the experience was wonderful from start to finish. What amazed me most was the service: despite the crowds, the waiters were quite fast and organized. Everything ran smoothly, with no long waits between courses, which is not a given on such crowded occasions. The food was truly excellent; you could tell they were using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each course was cooked well and with care; you can immediately tell when the kitchen chooses good, authentic products. Finally, the bill was also perfect. The price was absolutely fair and correct for the quality of the food we ate, just what I expected for a meal of this caliber. I was truly satisfied, I give it 5 stars with all my heart, and I really hope to return soon!

11/11/2025: The restaurant is run by an Italian and a Polish woman (both serving customers). The menu is in Polish. It's tucked away in a quiet area. It's quiet and peaceful. Plenty of tables. The food is delicious, just like in Italy. I highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: The ambiance is wonderful, located in a dreamy area, very close to the Greek Theatre of Taormina, and across from the small Church of San Domenico. The atmosphere is very welcoming; there are always musicians wandering around the restaurants, adding a vibrant touch to the dining experience. I enjoyed the food; I tried three dishes: eggplant parmigiana, pasta with shrimp, and grilled clams. My favorite was the grilled clams.

09/11/2025: A very pleasant place. Delicious and aromatic food. We were a group of eight. Delicious seafood risotto, pasta with anchovies, spaghetti di sepia, grilled octopus… everything was very tasty and fresh.

05/03/2026: I came here on the recommendation of my transfer driver and wasn't disappointed. It's a typical pizza restaurant with a clear focus on the outdoor seating area. Located at Porto Nuovo, below the church, it's well-situated. The wood-fired pizza, made on-site in both classic and creative styles, is definitely worth a visit. A tip for those who fancy wine instead of beer – just ask! I really enjoyed the local white wine they offered.

21/02/2026: The rooms were very dirty, especially the damp ceiling. The showers were awful, and the fridge was full of candy wrappers (very dirty on the outside, but I don't know what the inside was like because I didn't open it).

06/01/2026: Good restaurant with parking, and the pizza is also delicious. We had a super good tabisca. Plenty of parking. Super reasonable price. All without too much of a wait. Beautiful, good, affordable, fast, and honest. Not like some trattorias that force customers to order a tourist menu for the whole table, like a "solo trattoria" in Marinella does. (A scam.) Truly, congratulations on everything 💯

10/10/2025: I've been to several Peruvian restaurants, and this one is definitely special: every dish has an extra touch of flavor. You can tell they love their cuisine and share it with a big smile.

18/02/2026: The waitress had a really good english and the food came very quickly even when we came in like 30 minutes before closing, the food was also amazing, the waitress also let more people in even when it was closed, to sum up everything was great i highly recommend it.

11/01/2026: Sicilian cuisine with influences, revisited in a creative and surprising way, with carefully crafted and never boring dishes. We had the dining room all to ourselves, an added bonus that made the experience even more intimate and enjoyable. The chef guided us through the dinner, explaining each course with great clarity, demonstrating passion and expertise, as well as genuine friendliness. At the end of the evening, we stayed for a very informal chat, and he even offered us a taste of a truly excellent local gin. A unique, welcoming experience, and highly recommended.

08/03/2026: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED...!!! Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. Lunch was arranged ahead of time with L'Oste for today, costing €25, including "appetizer - 2 first courses - water/wine - coffee." Having mentioned that a vegetarian was coming, he had neither the good taste nor the ability to propose a variation to the agreed-upon menu, limiting it to just one first course, in addition to the inevitable exclusion of salami and animal products. During lunch, L'Oste proved unprofessional and clearly annoyed by the requests for the agreed-upon portions. The portions weren't enough for all diners, neither for appetizers nor drinks. The climax came when we noticed that the Coca-Cola served in glass bottles had expired. At the end of the meal, not even the agreed-upon coffee was served.

08/03/2026: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! Today, March 8, 2026, I was hoping to spend a peaceful Women's Day and, above all, enjoy a good lunch in beautiful Scicli. NO. Unfortunately, I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life! First of all, the owner, lacking in politeness and empathy, already knew in advance that I'm a vegetarian and that I'd be dining there with a large group of friends. Despite this, he showed no interest in trying to change one of the two first courses on the menu because they were meat-based. Nevertheless, I overlooked it and, out of politeness, I accepted! Except that during the appetizer, I noticed that not only was there a lot of salami, but the attention was focused on the portions, practically rationed out to the diners. Not to mention his annoyed and irritated facial expressions when we asked for wine and water. AGREED! The icing on the cake was realizing the expired Coke. In short, I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OSTERIA. If you have to eat in Scicli, get a good sandwich from anyone or anywhere else, but NOT THIS!
