28/09/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but this place really deserves it. We stumbled upon this truly beautiful and meticulously maintained restaurant on the harbor by chance. We ate really well. As a lover of raw fish, I can honestly say it was truly delicious, and the chef's combinations are truly excellent... even the exquisite desserts. The staff is truly kind, attentive, and always ready to offer excellent service and advice... we had the pleasure of being served by Antonio in particular... in short, you feel truly pampered. Highly recommended!

25/09/2025: A splendid venue nestled in a stunning setting. Dishes are carefully prepared, fresh, and presented with care. The service is courteous, attentive, and organized. Prices are absolutely reasonable (even with a substantial final discount) and coffee is included. They treated us to a wonderful evening!

29/06/2025: Trovandoci a passeggiare per Ortigia in cerca di un ristorante tipico e poco frequentato dal turismo di massa, vicino a Porta Marina abbiamo scoperto questo locale in un vicolo carattestico. Siamo stati accolti dalla titolare molto cordiale, gentile ed ospitale. Abbiamo mangiato del pesce veramente fresco e molto saporito. Le cozze scoppiate al limone favolose, insalata di polpo tenero, spaghetti ai frutti di mare, finalmente degni di nome... Assaggiato per la prima volta la frittura con le cozze, stupenda!!! Abbiamo chiuso in dolcezza con un cannolo di ricotta ;) che non guasta mai...le foto non rendono e non si sente il profumo..ci torneremo sicuramente vivamente consigliato 😁

20/06/2025: Absolutamente la mejor experiencia gastronómica que hemos tenido viajando por el sur de Italia y Sicilia. Tuvimos un plato de mejillón simple que era tan bueno que nos llevamos a otros 11 miembros de la gira de vuelta la noche siguiente. Todos coincidieron en que los 16 platos raros estaban todos deliciosos y fue la mejor experiencia que también tuvieron en Italia. El equipo de marido y mujer era simplemente encantador y eficiente, así como el primo que sirvió a la mesa.

12/08/2025: Esperienza enogastronomica fantastica nel complesso. Pur non avendo prenotato, con un locale pieno ed una discreta coda all'ingresso, ci hanno fatti accomodare molto presto, rispetto alle mie aspettative, e per di più, nell'attesa ci è stato offerto un prosecco al banco, molto gradito, testimoniando la particolare attenzione che hanno delle persone, viste come ospiti più che clienti. Le stesse attenzioni le ho riscontrate nella preparazione del cibo, di gran qualità. Abbiamo mangiato sia pesce (crudo e cotto) che la pizza, affidandoci letteralmente alla gentilezza ed alla competenza del titolare, sempre presente tra i tavoli e d'aiuto al suo altrettanto valido staff. La carta dei vini è ben fornita ed i prezzi delle bottiglie sono onesti. Che dire di più, in questa gestione familiare si vede che la ristorazione è una cosa seria, fatta con passione da professionisti che provano a restare "umani" in un mondo di Masterchef. Complimenti

17/10/2025: First of all, the roof wasn't watertight despite being moved. I ordered mackerel for €25, but it was too small and cold, and worst of all, it didn't taste good. So, folks, be careful what you order and make sure you don't get wet in the rain.

17/10/2025: i had a cappuccino just now and they didn’t have 2,50 worth of change. that happens often in sicily so its not a big deal but the lady made it a big deal. i had to pay by card (which i do not bring to the beach so thankfully my phone was charged) and the waitress said something like ‚so there was 2,50€ left on that card!‘ implying that i was too broke for their establishment. allthewhile she was the one who didn’t have enough change at hand?? if u do not have what it takes to run an establishment properly at least try to not insult your customers please

19/10/2025: The restaurant has a picture-perfect location, and that alone is a good reason to visit, but there's so much more to it than just the view... Rosario and Vera's exquisite hospitality immediately makes you feel welcome, but what really amazed us was the food. The menu is extensive, but for those who enjoy seafood, this is the perfect place for freshness and exquisite preparation. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery, among olive and citrus trees, yet overlooks the sea... and if you'd like to stay longer, it's also a farmhouse with rooms. A place like this is perfect for a vacation, but also a place to go often with friends.

13/09/2025: A culinary stroke of luck in the alleys of Licata By a stroke of luck, our search for a good restaurant in the winding alleys of Licata led us to Pepe and Chiara's. We almost didn't get in, as there was a slight misunderstanding with the charming chef, Pepe, at the door – fortunately, everything was quickly and cordially resolved. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a maximum of 20 seats and a lovingly decorated atmosphere that perfectly matches Pepe's creative cuisine. Chiara welcomes guests with a warm, pleasant manner, which further enriches the visit. You can choose between a 4- or 6-course menu – we opted for the 4-course menu, accompanied by an excellent red Syrah. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. The prices may be high, but the quality and professionalism are well worth it. In the end, we were completely satisfied.

05/08/2025: Lo stile e l’accoglienza di un’osteria, ma cibo di altissima qualità. Ci siamo sentiti ospiti a casa di amici. Abbiamo assaggiato piatti elaborati e buonissimi che combinano la materia prima siciliana con tecniche innovative e creative. Veramente eccellente!

When it was time to pay, three of us showed up at the cashier: - Good evening, could you please divide the total (€137) by three? (So we can each pay with our own debit card) - Yes, of course.... So... (calculator in hand)... 137 divided by 3... That's 45.66... ​​Let's make it 46. We paid €46 each by debit card... 1 star!

12/09/2025: Neapolitan-style pizza, better than in Naples. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pasta, seafood, and fish were delicious. The price/quality ratio was excellent! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back!

27/06/2025: Trattoria of the past, now unobtainable nowadays. Quality, simplicity and modest prices that seem almost fictitious compared to what you find around. Family-run, with a kindness and a unique humility even with the many foreigners who are lucky enough to end up in this place. Go there if you want to eat in a gem of times gone by that I hope will resist the dynamics of the modern market. Congratulations!

03/08/2025: Semplicemente eccezionale! Personale gentile, disponibile e con molta cura nei confronti del cliente, che dimostrano in ogni piccolo dettaglio. Io sono un'amante della pizza e qui ho mangiato la pizza più buona della mia vita! Alta, biscottata fuori e morbida dentro. Lievitata perfettamente, cosa che si può vedere dalle bolle sul bordo che restano vuote (come il pane). Saporita, ma non salata, gustosa e altamente digeribile, nonostante il lievito mi crei qualche problema, questa pizza non mi ha gonfiata affatto. Ci ritornerò sicuramente, già solo lei vale tutto il viaggio!
