13/09/2025: A culinary stroke of luck in the alleys of Licata By a stroke of luck, our search for a good restaurant in the winding alleys of Licata led us to Pepe and Chiara's. We almost didn't get in, as there was a slight misunderstanding with the charming chef, Pepe, at the door – fortunately, everything was quickly and cordially resolved. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a maximum of 20 seats and a lovingly decorated atmosphere that perfectly matches Pepe's creative cuisine. Chiara welcomes guests with a warm, pleasant manner, which further enriches the visit. You can choose between a 4- or 6-course menu – we opted for the 4-course menu, accompanied by an excellent red Syrah. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. The prices may be high, but the quality and professionalism are well worth it. In the end, we were completely satisfied.

05/08/2025: Lo stile e l’accoglienza di un’osteria, ma cibo di altissima qualità. Ci siamo sentiti ospiti a casa di amici. Abbiamo assaggiato piatti elaborati e buonissimi che combinano la materia prima siciliana con tecniche innovative e creative. Veramente eccellente!

23/09/2025: We were sitting on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu. The portion was a generous €15. I've never tasted better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Coperto was €1.50. The cozze is a dream. Good service with a sea view. Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).

22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.

04/11/2025: A disappointing evening in every way. I had high expectations, but I left feeling bitter (and hungry). The dishes were bland and the portions tiny, especially considering the truly exorbitant prices. All of this contributed to a frustrating experience. The service was slow and inattentive: we waited interminably between courses without anyone bothering to check if everything was okay. In short: absurd prices, a terrible gastronomic experience. For the same amount of money, I could have eaten incredibly fresh fish elsewhere. Absolutely not recommended.

03/11/2025: I can't believe how exceptionally excellent everything about our experience was dining here. This is by far the best restaurant in the region! The food, wine and service is truly outstanding. We loved it so much we returned three times and when we come back we won't go anywhere else! The carbonara was delicious, the seafood was fresh and amazing and even the bruschetta was the best we have ever had. 😁 What made it most was the service, everyone was so friendly to us and the owner is the best person! We had an amazing time and would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to have the best food and service. Grazie mille!!❤️

18/11/2025: Unfortunately, I live far from this shop, where I would be a loyal customer. They have everything I consider a treat and that gives me peace of mind. Luckily, online orders exist. I was really pleased with the service, very fast, and the package was well-packaged. Thank you.

15/11/2025: The report is negative because there is no way for elderly people who do not have a credit card to pay cash on delivery.

30/11/2025: I ordered two pizzas, one gluten-free and one regular, but unfortunately I have to express my total dissatisfaction. The toppings were almost nonexistent, and one of the pizzas was delivered completely raw, therefore inedible. Considering the wait, I expected much better service and quality. Unfortunately, I consider my experience a negative one and will not order again. I hope you can take what happened into consideration.

22/10/2025: Good restaurant, a bit out of the way, but easily accessible on foot. Very tasty and very friendly service! Many seafood dishes, but also something for other tastes.

15/09/2025: A pizzeria that operates with minimal staffing. The pizzas are very good. The dishes are disposable. Unfortunately, the wine has to be drunk from a plastic glass, so I prefer bringing my own. The staff is very friendly.

11/09/2025: Pizzeria "La Gioiosa" is mostly a takeaway place, but there are also some tables (a little basic) where you set your own table. The pizzas aren't bad...especially the dough is very light...but I prefer a normal pizzeria where they serve you at the tables.

10/10/2025: Small place, pizza nothing special, exorbitant prices, just think that for a Margherita you pay €12, once is enough to never come back..

03/10/2025: We are customers every week for home delivery pizza, we will never change it! Impeccable service top quality! Yesterday we went to the sushi place, delicious! 5 stars.

29/06/2025: Trovandoci a passeggiare per Ortigia in cerca di un ristorante tipico e poco frequentato dal turismo di massa, vicino a Porta Marina abbiamo scoperto questo locale in un vicolo carattestico. Siamo stati accolti dalla titolare molto cordiale, gentile ed ospitale. Abbiamo mangiato del pesce veramente fresco e molto saporito. Le cozze scoppiate al limone favolose, insalata di polpo tenero, spaghetti ai frutti di mare, finalmente degni di nome... Assaggiato per la prima volta la frittura con le cozze, stupenda!!! Abbiamo chiuso in dolcezza con un cannolo di ricotta ;) che non guasta mai...le foto non rendono e non si sente il profumo..ci torneremo sicuramente vivamente consigliato 😁

20/06/2025: Absolutamente la mejor experiencia gastronómica que hemos tenido viajando por el sur de Italia y Sicilia. Tuvimos un plato de mejillón simple que era tan bueno que nos llevamos a otros 11 miembros de la gira de vuelta la noche siguiente. Todos coincidieron en que los 16 platos raros estaban todos deliciosos y fue la mejor experiencia que también tuvieron en Italia. El equipo de marido y mujer era simplemente encantador y eficiente, así como el primo que sirvió a la mesa.

28/09/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but this place really deserves it. We stumbled upon this truly beautiful and meticulously maintained restaurant on the harbor by chance. We ate really well. As a lover of raw fish, I can honestly say it was truly delicious, and the chef's combinations are truly excellent... even the exquisite desserts. The staff is truly kind, attentive, and always ready to offer excellent service and advice... we had the pleasure of being served by Antonio in particular... in short, you feel truly pampered. Highly recommended!

25/09/2025: A splendid venue nestled in a stunning setting. Dishes are carefully prepared, fresh, and presented with care. The service is courteous, attentive, and organized. Prices are absolutely reasonable (even with a substantial final discount) and coffee is included. They treated us to a wonderful evening!

12/11/2025: We visited a local restaurant in Taormina for lunch, perched on the hillside with beautiful sea views. Unfortunately, the terrace was closed due to a storm that day, but the atmosphere was still relaxed and inviting. The service was attentive, the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. We kept it simple with just one course and a drink, but the overall experience was definitely enjoyable.

28/10/2025: We found ourselves at this restaurant for lunch during our trip to Sicily. The view was breathtaking and the staff were incredibly friendly. We ate deliciously and enjoyed the view of Isola Bella. I'm giving it five stars because we really enjoyed our stay. We were greeted with great hospitality and kindness, and the food was excellent.

25/09/2025: A true gem in the lower part of the village, just a few meters from the sea and the pebble beach. The food is a delight for the taste buds; you'll never want to leave the table. All the freshest local fish is served with kindness by the owner Aldo's sons, who are also extremely hospitable and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. The wine list is varied, featuring Sicilian products to suit all budgets. If you're near the village, stop here for an experience you won't soon forget.

13/09/2025: On the recommendation of a local, we opted for this restaurant... a beautiful, simply furnished room that adds warmth to the atmosphere, and a small outdoor terrace. Friendly and helpful service... Tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes, shrimp, and eggplant (very delicate), a good seafood appetizer, and a grilled dish (delicious sea bass), shrimp, swordfish roll, and grilled vegetables... We were very satisfied!

10/10/2025: We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at the Gourmet restaurant and cannot say enough good things about it! The staff was incredibly welcoming, warm, kind, and accommodating. We had the pleasure of getting to know Giuseppe and he made sure our experience was unforgettable. The flavor combinations were exceptional and unique with fantastic service and ambiance.
