01/06/2025: A wonderful experience, from every point of view! We had lunch at this restaurant enjoying a breathtaking view from the large and bright terrace: a view that is worth the visit alone. The food was excellent: the pasta with mussels and sea urchins was very rich in sea urchin pulp, tasty and perfectly balanced in flavors. The pasta with swordfish, cherry tomatoes and capers was a true masterpiece, with fresh and well-harmonized ingredients. The roasted swordfish was also excellent, fresh, tender and cooked to perfection. To finish on a sweet note, a very light almond parfait, accompanied by an authentic and delicious chocolate cream. Kind, helpful and very welcoming staff, clean and well-kept bathrooms. Another plus: we were able to bring our little dog with us, which we appreciated very much. Ultimately, a place where quality, courtesy and beauty meet. Highly recommended! 🌅🐟🍝🐾

02/06/2025: Terrible experience. The appetizer was not to my liking and I immediately contested it upon delivery. I asked to bring me something else important in the right time, as I wanted to enjoy dinner and wine with my wife, but it was not possible, my wife had already finished eating, 40 minutes passed and nothing arrived, until I got up and asked at the cashier where they told me that there was a wait of about 10 minutes, at that point I paid and left. In conclusion, I paid a bill for 2 but only my wife ate, but I did not expect not to pay for the appetizer but to be able to eat and spend the evening in the right time. I was very disappointed, I paid an excessive bill and I did not eat anything, a shameful thing.

12/06/2025: 5 full stars, maybe even a few more, I had created very high expectations for the pizza, I must say they were maintained and satisfied... but the thing that made the difference was the staff, not knowing anyone (I was in the area for work) I was welcomed by Mrs. Piera, very nice and polite, she fully perceived my needs and together with the pizza chef she satisfied them, not to mention the polite and helpful waiters, all good, I will definitely be back... Congratulations!!!!

03/06/2025: La Capinera was the most disappointing Michelin restaurant we have been to. We had the tasting menu and the food was good but not Michelin standards. Servers were nice however the staff overcharged us TWICE. This has never happened to us before. They initially charged us for two drinks when we only ordered one drink. That was a quick fix. When we went home we saw another charge on our credit card and an email from the restaurant stating that we were charged for not showing up to our reservation. When we arrived for our 730pm reservation we were the first people seated and we clearly pointed to my husband’s name on the reservation list. We had to call the restaurant in the morning and luckily someone (i believe it was Pietro) did answer and instead of apologizing right away he blamed us for not telling them my husbands name that was on the reservation. I dont recommend this place. There are many other great restaurants in the city with better location and service.

30/05/2025: I must confess right away that this review you are reading now, concerns the summer of 2024, for two weeks towards the end of July. I don't know why, but it never occurred to me to write a review on this beach, which I visited during my last holiday in Sicily, especially because it is very positive. And it is positive because, above all, the environment, the kindness of the staff, both at the bar and at the restaurant, which on the beach was excellent and really made me rest and feel good. The menu offered at the restaurant was always in line with my needs which, at that time, also required me to follow a diet. Obviously "dietetic", in the Sicilian sense of the term. The only flaw, the fact that there was one day a week in which the restaurant was closed. Only sandwiches that day, but still good. On the beach, even though I am a solo traveler and often decide at the last minute what to do, I never had problems getting a sunbed and the lifeguards were always kind and friendly.

11/10/2024: Sono stata in questo splendido locale per un matrimonio. Location splendida, servizio eccellente. Unica pecca: il mio menù vegetariano. Pietanze belle solo nell'aspetto ma veramente scarse nel gusto. Ormai anche guardardo qualche reel su instgram è possibile trovare delle ricette gustose senza carne o pesce. Un peccato davvero. I dolci buonissimi e anche i menù di pesce e di carne sembravano ottimi (confermato anche dagli altri ospiti). Consiglio sinceramente di arricchire la conoscenza di ricette vegetariane e vegane, capiscono che non è probabilmente il vostro target di riferimento ma un locale d'eccellenza come questo dovrebbe almeno avere delle alternative vegetali buone, non superlative ma buone. Per il resto tutto super, davvero.

Personale di sala qualificato, preparato, gentile, mettendo il cliente a proprio agio specialmente in presenza di clienti con intolleranze dando ogni supporto e consigli validi. Qualità dei prodotti ottima ed equilibrato il conto. Ottimo x trascorrere dei momenti di relax mentre di consumano i pasti specialmente in famiglia.

02/04/2025: Centraal gelegen restaurant met zeer vriendelijke bediening en zeer betaalbare gerechten en wijnen. We waren aanvankelijk de enige gasten in het restaurant en vonden het een beetje fris. Direct werd er een heater aangezet. Top gastvriendelijkheid. Pasta norma, het kalfsvlees en de nagerechten waren prima op smaak. Bij het nagerecht kregen we een glaasje dessertwijn van het huis aangeboden. Heerlijke avond gehad.

Abbiamo prenotato il giorno precedente a capodanno e ci hanno comunque accolto, menù fisso di pesce semplice ma curato nei dettagli e fatto con amore. Complimenti al giovane chef che ha dimostrato di avere occhio e di essere attento al timing fondamentale la notte di capodanno. Complimenti a tutta la famiglia che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. A presto!

27/04/2025: Finding ourselves for a weekend in Punta Secca, the lady who rented us the room pointed us to this pizzeria... total disappointment. Unfortunately, the pizza was almost inedible. The service 4 and the location too dated. But it would have been nothing if at least the service and the pizza had been at least discreet. The chips arrived after almost half an hour because they were forgotten. My partner's pizza, with seafood, watery and soft, inedible... then I don't know if they were relatives... the lady who took the lead was sitting chatting with these gentlemen, without caring about the service and the customers, the waiter was chatting with a table of kids and we were waiting for someone to come and ask us if we wanted anything else or the bill. 12/05/2025: Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Il posto è bello, ma il cibo è nella media. I bicchieri non erano molto pulito impolverati e in uno c era la ragnatela.. magari non si sono accorti e non li hanno lavati bene. Chissà può succedere.!! Per il resto come ho detto prima bella media.
