08/03/2026: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED...!!! Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. Lunch was arranged ahead of time with L'Oste for today, costing €25, including "appetizer - 2 first courses - water/wine - coffee." Having mentioned that a vegetarian was coming, he had neither the good taste nor the ability to propose a variation to the agreed-upon menu, limiting it to just one first course, in addition to the inevitable exclusion of salami and animal products. During lunch, L'Oste proved unprofessional and clearly annoyed by the requests for the agreed-upon portions. The portions weren't enough for all diners, neither for appetizers nor drinks. The climax came when we noticed that the Coca-Cola served in glass bottles had expired. At the end of the meal, not even the agreed-upon coffee was served.

08/03/2026: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! Today, March 8, 2026, I was hoping to spend a peaceful Women's Day and, above all, enjoy a good lunch in beautiful Scicli. NO. Unfortunately, I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life! First of all, the owner, lacking in politeness and empathy, already knew in advance that I'm a vegetarian and that I'd be dining there with a large group of friends. Despite this, he showed no interest in trying to change one of the two first courses on the menu because they were meat-based. Nevertheless, I overlooked it and, out of politeness, I accepted! Except that during the appetizer, I noticed that not only was there a lot of salami, but the attention was focused on the portions, practically rationed out to the diners. Not to mention his annoyed and irritated facial expressions when we asked for wine and water. AGREED! The icing on the cake was realizing the expired Coke. In short, I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OSTERIA. If you have to eat in Scicli, get a good sandwich from anyone or anywhere else, but NOT THIS!

08/12/2025: Today I ate here with my sister and parents to celebrate my belated birthday, even before the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It was a truly fortunate and fitting choice: truly excellent food, excellent service with truly courteous waiters who make you feel at home, in a restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere and visual appeal. And, another important aspect, very fair prices. Even considering how good the food we ate was, the quality/price ratio is truly remarkable.

07/12/2025: I give it 5 stars first and foremost for the kindness of the waiters. That's not a given! Smiling, welcoming, kind, helpful, and attentive. The place is small, cute, tidy, and relaxing. The food is good, and there's no long wait.

15/03/2026: A total disappointment. This restaurant, which was on a whole other level years ago, is now a shadow of its former self. Over the years, the quality has visibly declined: portions are minimal, almost ridiculous, and completely disproportionate to the decidedly high prices charged. The first courses were a disaster: the pasta and sauce were completely disjointed, as if they had been thrown together at the last minute with no thought. The idea of ​​a thoughtful and well-crafted dish was completely missing. But the lowest point was undoubtedly the mussel soup: unsightly and with a truly unpleasant, almost unbearable, odor. A negative experience; I'm not even close to being worth the price. For the prices they charge, there are dozens of restaurants in the area where the food is infinitely better. We will never return, and frankly, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

16/11/2025: First time in this restaurant, I was very happy with the service and the kindness of both the owner and the rest of the staff, very good and very fresh fish served with a lot of imagination and elegance, we stopped at just the tasting because it turns out to be abundant and we didn't pay a fortune... so we will return and I highly recommend it

16/10/2025: Fantastic hotel, I stayed here for a week and it's truly great. In my opinion, the best hotel in the area. Breakfast starts early and is well-stocked all the way through. The rooms are very spacious and well-equipped. Great value!

06/09/2025: If, like me, you're looking for a peaceful oasis to spend some quiet time, this hotel is the perfect choice. The staff is incredibly kind and professional, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the sound of the waves crashing is unparalleled! Breakfast on the terrace is excellent. The beach area is lovely, with its artificial grass and fully equipped facilities. The beach is just a short walk away. The only downside is that to reach the seafront and enjoy the various bars and restaurants, you have to walk about 200 meters on a road that isn't well lit at night. I highly recommend it.

10/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here last night. The place is very elegant and pleasant. We were served by very kind and helpful waiters, always ready to recommend the right food. We started with a delicious shrimp cocktail, followed by spaghetti with clams and gnocchi with pesto and shrimp, all accompanied by a fruity white wine that made the dinner incredibly tasty. We finished with a panna cotta and an apple tart. Nothing to add, everything was perfect. The sound of the waves in the background created a magical atmosphere. If you love good food, this is a must-try, highly recommended!

13/02/2026: I went last week for a simple inquiry, to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday. When I got there, there was no one there except the chef, who had told us the room was free for the day I requested, but for details on the menu and costs, I had to discuss it with his wife. I returned a few days later with my family, and I should point out that we were supposed to be a party of 35 for the birthday. First, I was shown a smaller room, then, when I asked to book the larger room, since I wanted some space for dancing and entertainment, I was made to speak to the chef's wife... I wish I'd never done that. First, the smaller room was suddenly no longer available, and as for the larger room, she treated me and my family with an unprecedented rudeness, getting angry because it was impossible for her husband to have told me it was free for that date, and even making a scene, she insisted on calling him to confirm. I wouldn't have had any problem changing the day or choosing another venue. I understand not wanting to rent a large venue on a Saturday night, but I think manners and good manners are key. They were treated like dirt. What a shame.
