26/04/2026: At first it seems like a nice place with good food and friendly staff, but in reality it's not like that at all... we waited at least 1 hour/1 hour and then 1 of the 4 dishes we had ordered arrived, and it was almost cold. After 10 minutes, 2 more arrived almost cold too. By the time the fourth dish arrived we had all already finished eating, at least this one arrived hot 🙄. When we asked the staff how long it would be until our dishes were ready, they always told us they were arriving, or that they were ready so we stayed quiet but in reality nothing arrived. I must also mention the quality of the dishes, almost raw pasta for 2 of the 4 dishes, then the pasta with shrimp looked nothing like that magnificent photo on Google, they put 4 pieces of tiny 🦐 and then they put 7 pieces of shrimp heads (which obviously are not edible) to trick you into thinking there were a lot of them but instead you eat 99.99% (raw) pasta. At least the view from the terrace was beautiful. Total: €100 for a very disappointed experience. So my advice: find another place to eat. 22/01/2026: Those who come to Delia often do so for anything but pleasant reasons, but this bar-restaurant offers some consolation: a welcoming place where you can find some solace thanks to good food and friendly staff. The restaurant is simple but well-kept; we ate lunch outside, while there's also a dining room inside. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is genuine and truly memorable. Recommended.

10/12/2025: In Delia, in a small, deserted square that day, we found this restaurant that speaks louder than words. The staff was honest, friendly, and enterprising, and they even made us experience a magical moment on a gloomy day. The cuisine has its own personality, its own entirely positive vibe. I highly recommend this place for many other reasons, which I won't list, just to avoid turning this review into a book. My heartfelt congratulations and thank you so much...

21/05/2026: I don't even know how to start this review. The island is truly beautiful, but I'm leaving with a bad taste in my mouth because of this place, due to the rudeness shown by one of the staff members (I assume it was the owner). I was about to go in, but we were with my bike, and I wanted to park it. A girl came out and told me I could park a little further ahead. I tried to park, but there wasn't any space, so I decided to leave it right next to the pergola of the establishment (which wasn't bothering anyone). At that moment, the owner came out, shouting at me in Italian (I didn't understand a word), and finally told me to be more careful because I was hitting the pergola with the wheel… (this was after three attempts to explain what was wrong). I replied that there wasn't any space and that I hadn't hit the pergola at all (it seems to be made of some kind of luxury material or something). And then, with a straight face, she asked me sarcastically if I understood Spanish. From that moment on, I left. You can't allow yourself to be disrespected. There are many ways to say things. If you don't like working in hospitality, then change jobs. If tourists bother you, change jobs. And if bicycles bother you, file a complaint with the town hall and people will stop coming to your island… Treating tourists like that is unacceptable. Of course, I won't recommend this place, and if anyone asks, I'll tell them how rude they were to me… I hope this woman's gravy train ends soon. By the way, I went to another place later and had no problems at all; quite the opposite… so there are better places to go than this one.

21/05/2026: We went to try the famous tuna kebab at what's supposed to be one of the island's best spots, which I don't understand since the service was awful. As soon as we arrived, they rudely asked us to park our bikes somewhere else, and when we went to do so, a staff member came towards us with a very unpleasant expression, telling us to be careful with their pergola because we were going to break it, even though we hadn't done anything to it. Apparently, we had hit the wheel with the plastic, but the explanation was delivered in a despotic, arrogant, and offensive manner. If you don't want to work, stay home; if you don't want Spanish tourists, stay home; and if you don't want bikes, change professions, since a bike is essential for getting around the island. Besides, if you don't want bikes, write to the town hall and ask them to install a bike parking area so that nobody can damage your super pergola, valued at thousands of euros and made, at the very least, of kryptonite. Obviously, I don't recommend this place. If this is the service, I can't imagine how they handle the food. Just a few meters away is Sapuri di Mare, which is wonderful, and you can enjoy quality tuna and park your bikes without any problem.

11/01/2026: Sicilian cuisine with influences, revisited in a creative and surprising way, with carefully crafted and never boring dishes. We had the dining room all to ourselves, an added bonus that made the experience even more intimate and enjoyable. The chef guided us through the dinner, explaining each course with great clarity, demonstrating passion and expertise, as well as genuine friendliness. At the end of the evening, we stayed for a very informal chat, and he even offered us a taste of a truly excellent local gin. A unique, welcoming experience, and highly recommended.

06/06/2026: At the entrance to Ortigia, an excellent seafood restaurant. Excellent appetizers and good first courses. Well-stocked wine list, attentive staff. Prices are reasonable.

06/06/2026: After the show at the ancient theater, even though it was late, they greeted us with a smile. Both the tagliolini allo scoglio and the pasta with swordfish roe were excellent. The courtesy of the waiter Ezechiele did the rest! Recommended

21/05/2026: After exploring Erice, we came here for dinner. The food, the Ericina busiata and the Trapanese busiata, were delicious. The day before, I booked a table with an amazing view on WhatsApp. The service was friendly, courteous, and quick. We recommend it.

01/06/2026: We all ordered fish-based entrees, including pasta with red shrimp sauce. None of these dishes were truly well-made, and the pasta with red shrimp sauce had everything but red shrimp. Honestly, I didn't enjoy it at all. I don't know what the pizza is like, but I wouldn't recommend it for fish.

01/06/2026: The pizzas came out burnt... the frozen mixed fried food definitely looked like rubber... the second course plates were incredibly uncomfortable... €8 for 4 bruschettas, nothing special... I spent less and they were better. The mixed fried food was rubbery, €20... €6 for a salad... what can I say, there are no words, it lacks accuracy and quality.

05/05/2026: An exceptional dining experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that truly showcase the best of Sicilian cuisine. Every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place for both a relaxed meal and a special occasion. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the entire visit. If you’re in Marsala, Ristorante da Saro is definitely worth visiting. A true 5-star experience that I would happily return to again!

19/07/2025: Pochi piatti ma cucinati con dovizia, ho riassaporato i sapori della nonna... Servizio sufficiente, la location lascia molto a desiderare, specialmente per la zona dove è situato il locale, sicuramente non turistica.

18/07/2025: Nos encontramos con este restaurante que está en Ortigia, justo al lado de las calles principales pero con vistas al mar. Fue realmente excelente. No turístico. Genuinamente bien cocinado y comida local súper fresca. Me comí el especial de pez espada y mi marido tenía el especial de atún que dijo que era la mejor melodía que había comido. Sobresaliente. Personal encantador y bien informado. Buen Inglés hablado.

The real surprise, however, is in the food. The cuisine is surprisingly innovative, rich in research and modernity, but above all, delicious. Exceptional flavors that leave a lasting impression, without getting lost in unnecessary frills. A magnificent contrast between past and future. Highly recommended!
