21/02/2026: The rooms were very dirty, especially the damp ceiling. The showers were awful, and the fridge was full of candy wrappers (very dirty on the outside, but I don't know what the inside was like because I didn't open it).

06/01/2026: Good restaurant with parking, and the pizza is also delicious. We had a super good tabisca. Plenty of parking. Super reasonable price. All without too much of a wait. Beautiful, good, affordable, fast, and honest. Not like some trattorias that force customers to order a tourist menu for the whole table, like a "solo trattoria" in Marinella does. (A scam.) Truly, congratulations on everything 💯

13/05/2026: Staff very inattentive. Some tables were dirty. Food tasted good, but overpriced. A glass of local white wine cost €9!!!!! It seems no one is responsible for the toilets 🫣🫣

06/05/2026: This location is popular with the locals. During our visit the crowd was 25 - 35 . The staff were very friendly and pleasant.

07/04/2026: The staff was very kind and incredibly friendly. We ordered pasta, pizza, and a schnitzel. The schnitzel was the most delicious of all, even though it was missing some vegetables. The coffee was exquisite. We had a great time, thank you.

02/11/2025: My experience was negative. I'll start with the dining room, which isn't air-conditioned, and I could understand why there were only four tables occupied during the week, including one with some young people watching the game on TV, making it seem like we were at the stadium. We ordered three fish appetizers, two roast fish, and a fried fish. What we immediately noticed was the spicy shrimp cocktail. When I asked for an explanation, the kitchen told me that Tabasco had been added to the sauce (I'll leave that up to you). As for the fish, or rather the appetizers, they weren't up to par with freshness, with things that were repeated in both the appetizer and the roast. I'd like to give a constructive review, but when I went to the cashier, I expected not a discount, but some justification from the owner. Instead, I found a girl who gave me the bill, to whom I didn't say anything, even though we had a bottle of wine that cost 25 euros. For six people, ordering for three, we ended up paying for eight.

23/04/2026: In Scicli for a school trip, we stopped with four colleagues for lunch at this osteria, practically in the center. The owner is kind and welcoming, and the restaurant has a few tables inside and a few on the outdoor terrace. We ordered four excellent pasta alla norma dishes, which were top marks, two caponatas, and a parmigiana, which weren't quite as good as the pasta itself, but still worth a try! Excellent value. We paid €25 each. Recommended.

08/05/2026: The cook of the restaurant is a master of seafood. Order any of the seafood dishes and you will be blown away by the balance flavors. We had the whole restaurant for ourselves on a thursday evening. It doesn't get better than that. Thank you.

27/04/2026: Tucked away on a narrow side street, just steps from the Piazza del Duomo, Trattoria La Canonica almost hides from the casual observer. Those who find it don't simply enter a restaurant, but rather a space that feels more like a collection of lived memories. Via Raddusa appears unassuming, yet behind the door unfolds a world of objects, relics, and found items, seemingly gathered from diverse times and places. It's a place that breathes stories – not primped or staged, but idiosyncratic and personal. The space itself feels less curated than organically grown. Among antique furniture, old photographs, and curious objects, one almost loses one's bearings, yet it never descends into chaos. Instead, the impression arises of moving within a private cosmos that reveals much about its owner. On this particular evening, he was present himself, a host of quiet presence, far removed from the usual bustling restaurant atmosphere. Perhaps taciturn, but by no means inattentive – more like someone who observes rather than imposes himself. Mid-February doesn't seem to be a time for large crowds. For long stretches, we were the only guests, which lent the atmosphere an almost intimate, almost otherworldly tranquility. Only as we were leaving did two other visitors arrive. This emptiness, however, didn't feel strange, but rather underscored the character of the place: unhurried, a little out of time. The food was pleasantly down-to-earth. The cuisine is clearly rooted in Sicilian traditions, with carefully prepared classics and ingredients that reflect freshness and regionality. So, in the end, it's not so much a single dish that lingers in the memory as the overall feeling: a place that doesn't try too hard, that is unique, and precisely for that reason, resonates. We felt comfortable, well cared for, without any fuss – and perhaps therein lay its special charm.

26/10/2025: A very nice place on the Marina di Ragusa waterfront. They make some very nice pizza-based dishes, like the rolled pizza or a kind of Pizzoli they call scaccioni. Very good. They serve beer in a bucket with ice, which is truly fantastic. Average prices for a 1-liter beer, a scaccione, and a rolled pizza, we paid €36.

22/02/2026: I had veal fillet with green pepper sauce. The meat was superb. So tender and delicate. And the sauce was so delicious. Can highly recommend this place.

17/05/2026: We stumbled upon your restaurant by chance, good food but small quantities and high prices, charging 5 euros for bread, even if it hadn't been ordered, a total disappointment

26/04/2026: Small restaurant on the square facing the Norman castle. We had the appetizer tastings, which were quite good. The first courses were also good. Prices were reasonable!

20/02/2026: Three of us had dinner, and we had some good hamburgers. It fell a bit short of my expectations; I expected a bit more quality. For example, the bacon was cold, and the hamburger wasn't hot enough, not even cooked thoroughly. The service was impeccable. I was a bit disappointed by the price of a glass of wine; €7 for an Etna red seems a bit excessive.

14/05/2026: My girlfriend and I often go there for aperitivo. The location is breathtaking, and sunset is wonderful.

13/05/2026: They charge €30 for a sunset aperitif on the salt flats, taking advantage of an undoubtedly beautiful location, but with a tourist-trap attitude. A glass of wine or cocktail (mine wasn't great) and three bruschettas (good, with stracciatella and amberjack), reservations with full prepayment, before even sitting down. I didn't like it at all, especially the staff's less-than-friendly manners.

14/03/2026: Wonderful experience.....the food was delicious and plentiful, the staff was extremely polite and helpful. We'll definitely be back.
