26/10/2025: We stayed here for a week. The hotel is a real gem – its unparalleled proximity to the beach makes it easy to overlook any minor flaws. Our room was relatively small, but it had a balcony where we could admire the sunset or relax later with a glass of wine. The service was excellent, and the rooms were spotless. Breakfast was decent and perfectly adequate. During our stay, the restaurant was no longer serving dinner, but they offered a variety of fish and seafood dishes at lunchtime. These were also very tasty. We would definitely love to come back.

29/06/2026: Every time we return to this restaurant, we're always happy. There's plenty of parking in front, a large, breezy veranda with natural shade. The dishes are generous and excellent, featuring fresh fish. This family-run restaurant is very welcoming, with a beautiful sea view of Porto Conte Bay.

26/11/2025: A great spot in Cannigione. More of an upscale, good vibe spot in town with great food and drinks. We ended up sitting outside during sunset. The food was delicious and very local. Would recommend for dinner or to simply grab a drink.

04/06/2026: We visited on different days and at different times of day. Breakfast, pizza, and focaccia were all delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was always friendly, and the waitresses were especially great with small children. Highly recommended, especially for the delicious cornetti and cappuccino in the morning. Unfortunately, I have to add one thing. On our last day at the beach, we wanted to have a final coffee around 2:30 pm. However, we were turned away because the tables were reserved for lunch only. There were several free tables, and around us were customers who only had drinks. Anyway, this experience unfortunately somewhat dampened our overall impression.

30/05/2026: Right on the beach. Fantastic food at reasonable prices and first-class service. The excessively loud bass music from the club next door is annoying.

02/07/2026: What can I say...for us, the best catch in Alghero!! Exquisite staff!! Special women, working tirelessly in almost tropical temperatures, next to a constantly burning brazier, but always with a smile! Always kind, friendly, attentive to every request, but above all, to recommend the dish of the day. Highly recommended.

22/06/2026: It’s an indoor fish market with a restaurant. If you like fresh fish it doesn’t get much better than this! We had sea bass, was coated in salt and cooked beautifully. Absolutely delicious 😋

08/07/2026: The pasticcio was mediocre; we ate it at lunchtime at A Galaia and it was delicious there, but here it was not refined at all. I had a boiled tuna as a main course; I received a large piece of boiled tuna on my plate with some tomato sauce. I rarely leave anything behind, but this time I did. Service: I asked for a glass of white wine, and she brought me prosecco. I called her back, and she blithely replied that they don't serve white wine by the glass. Did she think I wasn't going to taste it and would just give me something else? "White wine only by the quarter liter," she replied... (also my first time in Sardinia). Okay then, but this one was rubbish. I asked for small plates to put the olive oil on; she forgot them. Then she came back 5 minutes later asking again if I needed plates. I had just asked for them, so I don't understand why she came to ask again. I indicated that she should just let it go. I sent half the tuna back at the end, no question about whether I enjoyed it, no check in between to see if everything was okay. I know I never send food back and I'm not a wimp, but it was just rubbish.

05/08/2026: Horrible service!!! I do not recommend this restaurant. It seems to care only about making money. I have never been treated like this anywhere else in Italy. I wanted to order sushi, but unfortunately my boyfriend doesn’t like it. When I asked if they could prepare it for just one person, I was told that the minimum was two people. Then we were asked to leave, even though I wanted to order something else from the menu.

05/08/2026: 😡 should be 0 stars. We came to this restaurant because my girlfriend wanted to have dinner, while I only wanted to order a cocktail. Instead of being welcomed, we were told to leave because “this is a restaurant.” We never even had the chance to try the food because we were kicked out before we could order anything. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like this before. It’s hard to understand why customers are treated so rudely when one person wants to eat and the other simply wants a drink. Very unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful service. Based on this experience, I definitely cannot recommend this place.

07/07/2026: We found it by chance, and never thought we'd have such an incredible culinary experience. Besides the truly enchanting location, the dishes exceeded our wildest expectations! Excellent quality and ingredients. If you want to eat well—and I mean really well—go there, you won't regret it. PS: They have an amazing Malvasia (produced by them), 5 stars isn't enough. PPS: After dinner, head to the pub, which is right next door... A fitting end to the evening!

27/04/2026: Worst Hotel experience ever: Unfriendly staff, violent hotel owner. Kicked my kids out of the hotel room 2 hours before check-out while heavily violent screaming… don’t go there if you love your kids. Overpriced breakfast for lousy quality. Don’t book here!

28/05/2026: Enjoyed the view, the food and loved the service! The personal was friendly, kind and attentive. I think this restaurant deserves more rating than they actually got. The food surprised me in the best way.

27/06/2026: Overpriced hotel where breakfast is not included so should be much less. Shower is way too small and uncomfortable to use even for a petit person. We could feel the springs in the bed. There is potential given the location in nature but more care should be put into the guests experience.

08/08/2026: I have been to the u'palacca restaurant several times and the very warm and tropical atmosphere is overwhelming, the welcome and the Roman accent make everything more magical, I recommend the gratinated mussels, far surpassing those of grandma, something that has never happened, also recommended seafood carbonara

06/08/2026: I've read so many lies in my life, but never more so than in the negative reviews of this restaurant, which isn't just good, it's one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever been to. The mussel soup is incredible, as is the care the staff and owner take in using the highest-quality ingredients, which they handle with skill and respect.
