La Boqueria In Alghero

The service was friendly, for some courses fast and for others much slower. Overall however, given the public holiday, more than acceptable. The food Excellent seafood salad Excellent mussels The grilled squid, I have to be honest, was nothing special and rather rubbery (the next day we went to an equally cheap place and the difference was merciless). The much vaunted fried food, again, nothing special. Also in this case the rubbery calamari. The prawns are much better and worthy of mention. Excellent tuna Excellent report card Excellent raw products. Generous portions rich in shellfish and oysters. However no carpaccio or tartare but I assume the workmanship required is not consistent with the place. Cost around 45 euros each. There were 10 of us. Considering the environment, fresh fish, service and price, the experience was positive but nothing special and we are certainly not at the miracle or wonder praised in the numerous reviews

A small restaurant set up inside the civic market of Alghero, the staff very kind and friendly. They even set up a heater specifically for our table to make it super comfortable for us. The food is of the highest quality, all very fresh and cooked in a very simple way so that you can enjoy all the flavor of the sea to the fullest. The raw dishes are excellent, the grilled mussels are magnificent, the mixed grill cooked to perfection. Honest price, proportionate to the quality of the raw materials. If you pass through Alghero, a stop here is a must! Highly recommended

I love eating at Boqueria because the fish is super fresh. The mussels are delicious and the fried calamari is the best I've ever eaten. The staff is super friendly.

In occasione di un breve soggiorno a Alghero, per puro caso abbiamo scoperto questo locale ubicato all'interno del mercato coperto di Alghero. Data un'occhiata al menù, abbiamo optato per un calamaro ai ferri e due fritti misti. L'ambiente è molto informale, ma le porzioni sono buone ed abbondanti. Prezzi onesti. Consigliato!

The restaurant is located inside the municipal market and uses very fresh fish with the possibility of choosing live fish.

Very high quality food, cooked simply, even better if not cooked, the fresh raw fish is spectacular. Prices a little high, but I think a certain quality must be paid for. The location inside the Alghero fish market is very characteristic.

I was twice at the weekend and ate really great grilled mussels and really fresh grilled fish. Having a gluten-free girlfriend I can say that they were very attentive, I really recommend it.

This is the place you need to go being in Alghero. Restaurant at local market with fresh stuff. Of course this is not exclusive restaurant but it is really good. Fresh stuff, only local people, lot of fantastic fish. I really, really enjoyed.
