19/03/2026: I return to this restaurant often because I find the dishes to be of high quality at very reasonable prices. The owners and staff are always very kind and professional. The paccheri and fregola are very, very good. The rest of the dishes, in my opinion, are also of excellent quality. My dog ​​is always welcome here, too. Highly recommended.

29/04/2026: The restaurant was very well-maintained, as was the service from a young woman and a young man who looked after us throughout the rest of the meal. I chose the breaded swordfish fillet (see photo), and I must say I was a bit disappointed. The fish flavor was too overpowering, so it tasted like a cutlet. Not bad, but I expected something more. The other two people I had lunch with chose the tuna alla carlofortina and grilled corvina fillet, both excellent. Next, they had a mille-feuille with a pistachio cream. It was recommended to me by the property where I'm staying, both for the excellent quality of the food and for the food inside (there's no specific sign outside, it just says "restaurant"); the window display was very inviting. I'd recommend it too!

08/06/2026: As a guest at a wedding, my menu was vegan, requested well in advance. I was worried from the start about the dishes I'd be served, but I was reassured by the chef's expertise. My appetizers were: fried potatoes and battered vegetables, then two plain first courses of zucchini and peppers, and then zucchini again. The second course was a "delicious" dish of roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables. The end. In 2026, with all the ways to get information, it's embarrassing and ridiculous to serve such a dinner in such a renowned and expensive place. This menu cost the newlyweds €100.

01/06/2026: Last Saturday, my husband and I celebrated our wedding at Locanda di Baccalamanza. The location was fabulous, the staff was incredibly professional and eager to accommodate our requests. Not to mention the food was spectacular. Thanks again to Antonella and Enrico and all their staff.

05/05/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times for the service and the food. This time, the waiter had a truly rude approach. We looked at the fresh fish, for two people. We chose scorpion fish, which had several different sizes. The waiter put the largest one on our plate, FOR TWO PEOPLE. It seemed a bit too big to me, but I trusted him. The plate that arrived was enough to feed four people. It was almost two kilos of fish (offered for two people). The bill is attached; calculate the weight at 7.5 euros per 100 grams. I couldn't finish it. A real shame. An honest and sincere approach, as I would expect from a reputable restaurant, would have been enough. I hope the owner isn't encouraging this approach. MORAL OF THE REVIEW: I WILL NEVER RETURN. IF YOU EAT FRESH FISH, HAVE WHAT YOU TAKE WEIGHED AND DEMAND TO KNOW THE EXACT PRICE. In a respectable restaurant the waiter tries to direct the customer in the best way, including the size of the fish.

14/04/2026: We had a great experience at this restaurant and went back twice. They have two menus: a traditional one and a "tourist" one. The dishes on the "tourist" menu are simpler and less expensive. The others are more elaborate and more expensive, but it's a real institution in this city, a place to recommend and where locals dine! I highly recommend it. Thank you to them for the wonderful time.

10/10/2025: Bad choice, having read positive reviews I trusted the mussels au gratin burnt!!! Perhaps prepared previously and therefore reheated!!! Never again

08/10/2025: We have booked a table at this place basing on the Google reviews. Pizza and mussels menu looked very attracting. Unfortunately we were deeply disappointed with both service & dishes. Starting from uncomfortable chairs to extremely sluggish service and untasteful oversalted mussels. There are many much better places around.

08/03/2026: When a place is closed, or only serves food to guests staying at the property, they should change their online information. People can't waste time looking for a place, and after you show up, they send you away, telling you they only work with guests staying at the hotel. Unfortunately, it was a very negative experience, especially since we drove 20 kilometers to get there and met up with friends halfway. PS: Before going, we tried calling several times, with no answer.

17/01/2026: My stay at the Hotel Monreale was extremely satisfying. The facility is tidy, welcoming, and well-managed. I would like to express my particular appreciation for the courtesy and helpfulness of Mr. Marcello, whose attentiveness to guests significantly contributes to the overall quality of the experience. Highly recommended.

15/05/2026: A lovely hotel close to the beach with a family-run atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff, delicious breakfast with local specialties. An ice cream parlor and pizzeria are also part of the complex.

I don't understand the low rating; it was recommended to us on our third night, and it was the best restaurant we had dinner at in Olbia. Plus, the atmosphere was lovely.

01/06/2026: We really enjoyed our dinner here. It was one of the few places in Olbia where we could get a good pizza 🍕 , which was a nice change since most restaurants seem to focus mainly on seafood. 🦞

19/05/2026: What more can I say that hasn't already been said, except for the owner's grumpy nature, which is part of his charm 🤩 When I come to Cagliari, this has been my favorite restaurant for 20 years, passed down from father to son. It's especially good value for money, a must-try if you're in Cagliari, and everything is fresh. Don't be fooled by the exterior; it has nothing to do with the quality of the place. If you want to be transported back 30 years, nothing has changed. Absolutely try it! Thank you, owner, everything was excellent. P.S. They only serve fish, no meat or pasta.

17/05/2026: Terrible service, waiter who slammed everything he touched, shouting for orders, no menu at the table and when you ask for pasta? No today it's not done 😢 for goodness sake!! Really small appetizers with little and bland seasoning like the tuna, little bread and the wait between the beginning, during and after is really long given that there is only one waiter and he runs from one side to the other all sweaty not to mention the dirty place and everything needs to be overhauled.. never again!!!!

23/10/2025: The worst restaurant I've eaten in. EVER! The owners do not care anything about what they're serving up. They do not care about their patrons, most of whom are unsuspecting tourists. They just want to rip their guests off and over-charge for everything. Beware: they do it all with false smiles so don't be fooled. Avoid this establishment at all costs!

02/05/2026: We dined on the typical Sardinian meat menu, and from the setting to the food and the staff, everything was sublime. The traditional Sardinian appetizer included pecorino cheese, olives, mushrooms, cured meats, and wine; wild boar with olives; a trio of culurgiones pasta with potatoes, cheese, and herbs; tortelli with pecorino cheese and malloreddos with purpuzza; and roast suckling pig with sweet potatoes, wine, and bitters. Everything was truly heartwarming; we highly recommend it.

25/05/2026: Average restaurant (it feels like a trattoria), but the prices are definitely too high for the quality and presentation of the food. An unassuming place for a seaside location, not very welcoming. The staff is friendly but not always professional. Too bad.
