08/07/2025: It was a real pleasure to stay in this wonderful little palazzo. We felt at home, with an extraordinary staff, very eager to fulfill our every wish, and even more. Our thanks to the entire staff, led by Don Michele, who treated us as if we were part of the family. Large, clean, extremely elegant room with a view of the old center, not too much noise. Hearty breakfast, I could only fatten up with the pies offered by the two nice ladies who served us. I still have fun now when I remember: serve 2 pieces (of pie) they are good and you will like it!! ....that's what I was told in the morning. The location of the hotel is ideal, close to every point of interest in the town of Biscelle. Parking space right in front of the hotel, you have to tell the car's registration number to access the central area (where the hotel is). It is a place where I truly felt the warm, hospitable and professional spirit of the people of Puglia.

05/08/2025: Recommended by our hotel (which was amazing) But sadly food service and atmosphere were a let down. We had the 5 sapori starter - which was 7/10. Local flavours nicely prepared. Mains had Ciceri e tria and the millefoglie of Seabass. The sea bass was overcooked and ciceri was ok but overcooked. The worst bit was the wine. We ordered a reasonably expensive bottle, they arrived with a different bottle (retails at 50% of what we ordered) and they charged us the same. It felt a bit like a tourist trap and somewhat dishonest. Came away feeling like we had overpaid for a pretty mediocre meal.

29/07/2025: A disastrous experience from start to finish. Soulless cuisine, contemptuous service, and zero attention to the customer. You have to wonder if they’ve ever actually tasted the food they serve. The risotto was dumped onto the plate like in a cheap cafeteria. The fish? Boiled, flavorless, most likely reheated, and I seriously doubt it was fresh. And to top it all off: unpleasant, borderline rude staff who make no effort to understand the order. This restaurant is a disgrace — a perfect example of what hospitality should never be.

03/08/2025: We ate very well at Elia's. The raw fish was truly excellent, as was the fried fish, dry and flavorful. The catch of the day was carefully prepared. The wine selection was also good. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. It's a shame the bar, with its unpleasant music, ruined the atmosphere. In some restaurants, the only thing that should be there is the sound of the sea. In any case, I would return, perhaps during the week for a quieter atmosphere.

30/07/2025: We dined on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, ideal for a charming sunset dinner. The atmosphere was romantic and relaxing. Beautifully presented dishes featuring fresh seafood. The quality is good and the menu is varied. Friendly staff and quick service, even at peak times. Prices are decidedly medium-high. A fish main course at €26 is a bit excessive in my opinion.

10/08/2025: Spanish restaurant in Monopoli's old town, with Spanish-style decor and a menu featuring Spanish products. Unconventional food, a mix of Spanish and Italian products. The beef carpaccio and meatballs with tomato sauce are quite good.

28/07/2025: Attracted by the excellent reviews, we went to this place, but unfortunately, we can't say we had the same experience. First, let's start with the water... HOT, you can't serve hot tap water. We ordered two pulled pork tapas, and honestly, it was nothing special... it tasted like ground meat. Okay, let's wait for the paella... what can I say? The fish wasn't fresh at all, especially the prawns, and to top it off, the sangria was watered down with frozen percocos, which is just not the case these days. I'm sorry, but the whole thing wasn't in line with the prices, and with your prices, there's no justification.

05/07/2025: Actually, I would like to review the restaurant, not a hotel. The environment is characterized by a very intimate, elegant but at the same time welcoming atmosphere. The owner is an extremely kind person and attentive to his customers. The dishes we ate were presented to us in a very careful way and turned out to be extremely interesting both for the quality of the raw material used and for the combination of flavors. The bill was correct.. Recommended.

02/07/2025: Excellent restaurant on a cliff, superb display of fish, excellent raw dishes as well as the fragolino that we tried, very fresh, very kind and competent staff, very good, fantastic location

28/06/2025: An excellent option by the sea with incredible views for dinner at sunset. Excellent service with excellent options of raw, cooked, fried, and grilled fish and seafood.

23/08/2025: Good, but the service was a bit lacking...also they promised us a 1,200 kg sea bass and instead we shared it with the next table...smart, I'd say.

20/08/2025: Terrible experience, I'll never go back. Despite the fact that I repeatedly stated on the phone that we were five adults with a 9-month-old baby, they kicked us out because, according to that RUDE lifeguard, we were a "camp." They could have already assigned us two umbrellas instead of one when we booked (not knowing the size of the umbrellas). P.S. Hire good people and put friendliness first.

27/06/2025: Coastal tower certainly built for defense against the Saracens. The marina in this coastal area is sandy, clean sea with free beaches alternating with lidos, excellent for bathing.

25/06/2025: Great beach with fine sand with no rocks. Public use beach. Free parking with easy walk to beach. You can go right or left from ruin and have great beach either way. Plastic is not bad as other reports say. Thailand and Asia beaches are way more polluted. Just do some good and take a bag full of garbage with you when you leave !

13/07/2025: 5 stars aren't enough! When you're in the Gargano, you can't miss this place. The seafood comes straight from the sea and onto your plate. The beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, and the friendliness and courtesy are what make this place so special.

02/08/2025: We went for dinner and had a hard time getting there because the GPS was pointing the wrong way, but all that was quickly forgotten by the excellent dishes we ate. The combination of flavors was superb. Very satisfied. We recommend it to everyone for the lovely location and excellent food!

19/08/2025: Believe me, the food is divine. That's the perfect way to describe it. Very professional and kind. I was very satisfied and lucky to find a table for two without a reservation on August 15th. An enchanting location on the seafront in Capitolo.

12/07/2025: Siamo una famiglia con una bambina di 4 anni. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze e una salsiccia per la piccola. Dopo l’ordine, abbiamo iniziato ad aspettare… e aspettare. Dopo un’ora intera abbiamo chiesto informazioni e ci è stato risposto che la salsiccia richiede più tempo per la cottura, una spiegazione che ci ha lasciati sinceramente basiti. Dopo un’ora e un quarto sono finalmente arrivate le pizze, mentre la salsiccia è arrivata solo 5-10 minuti dopo, con un ulteriore sollecito. Un’attesa davvero difficile da giustificare, soprattutto con una bambina affamata. Le pizze erano nella media, ma il servizio lento e la cattiva gestione delle comande hanno compromesso l’esperienza. Peccato, perché il posto ha potenziale, ma così non ci tornerei.

18/08/2025: The prices are cheap, but the shrimp in brine are clearly frozen and of poor quality. The house appetizer is mediocre, tasteless and of poor quality. I should mention the curry rice, tuna, and onion, which were inedible. It's a shame, because I'd been there several years ago, and it was a completely different story. A shame. It's now a purely touristy place.
