14/03/2026: Lunch today by chance! A pleasant discovery. The food was excellent. Quality and quantity! We were three adults! The fish was incredibly fresh and the portions were more than generous. Everything was delicious. The fried food was incredible. Honestly priced. A simple place, even a little basic, but authentic and quaint! Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back. 12/12/2025: We had lunch, taking advantage of the valuable and timely advice we received, and enjoyed excellent seafood appetizers, followed by delicious blue lobster troccoli and, above all, a mix of desserts accompanied by a soft salted caramel grappa that enhanced everything we had tasted up to that point. Definitely recommended.

10/11/2025: A charming and welcoming location in the center of Manfredonia. The friendly service at the tables is a definite plus. The qualified staff is ready to accommodate all your needs, also explaining the variety of fresh fish on offer. Delicious food pairs well with a good wine.

06/04/2026: The restaurant is located on the way into town from the train station. It was practically empty at lunchtime, with only five tables occupied, and it's no wonder. The restaurant doesn't attract customers at all. They should put some soft, quiet music in the background and put the menu by the entrance so people passing by can look at it. It all looks a bit dull. The menu is generally varied and you'll find both fish and meat. There's also a fixed menu for 23 euros without drinks. It includes first and second courses. I had burrata and a typical pasta for this region; I wanted to try it. The presentation of the dish is also dismal ((( I liked the pasta, be sure to try it. The service is attentive, but not intrusive. Coperto - 3 euros. The bill for one person (antipasti, primo piato, water, coffee) - 30 euros. Overall, the restaurant can be good if you run it, but who am I to tell people how to run their business.

02/11/2025: A lovely restaurant offering an antipasti menu with several small appetizers. Ideal for two people to start with. The Pezzetti di cavallo was excellent, as was the fresh pasta with tomato sauce and ricotta. Simple service and good wine recommendations. We would have liked to see more smiles from our servers. Eating outside is a good option if the weather permits, as the street is quiet.

09/12/2025: We chose L'Essenza in Vista for the Immaculate Conception Lunch, and the experience was truly excellent. The chef's special menu was meticulously crafted and full of authentic flavors. The land and sea appetizers were a great start: a selection of Martina Franca capocollo, blueberry burrata, and truly delicious mushroom meatballs, along with gratinated salmon cubes and cuttlefish in a creamy chickpea sauce. The portions were just right, and great attention was paid to the quality of the ingredients. The seafood cavatelli were also delicious, creamy and fragrant, as was the sea bass turban with saffron velouté, exquisitely delicate. The side dish, a baked potato, was also excellent, perfectly complementing the dish. To finish, a beautifully made puff pastry with cream and berries and a selection of fresh fruit. The service was courteous and punctual, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. A perfect celebration: good food, carefully prepared dishes, and great professionalism. Highly recommended for events and celebrations!

08/02/2026: Terrible I asked for tagliolini with clams, but it wasn't possible because they had to be the same for everyone. I go to a restaurant to try dishes that I might not be able to make at home.

05/04/2026: The food was amazing, but the service was even more outstanding. My mom has a food allergy and not only did they prepared everything fresh with this in mind, they even brought her a small appetiser which would usually require the ingredient. All in all the best experience we had in Italy in regards of food, which says a lot.
