Very nice restaurant, grilled fish dishes

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on our first day in Polignano a Mare, but returned several times during our 5 day stay as the food was super delicious and the restaurant had a nice and calm atmosphere. Definitely recommended 😀👍👌⭐

We stopped for a quick break, just long enough to try a fish fry and an artichoke fry. Both were decent, but far from memorable, especially considering the area's gastronomic scene. The overall feeling is that of a place heavily geared toward tourism, where the experience is a bit standardized and less refined than one might expect. The service, while friendly, seemed unclear in its handling of requests: we asked to order a pizza, but were told it wasn't possible, even though pizzas continued to come out of the kitchen. This is a perplexing inconsistency that impacts the overall experience. Overall, a place that could offer more with more attention to perceived quality and customer communication. The experience fell short of expectations.
