18/08/2025: The prices are cheap, but the shrimp in brine are clearly frozen and of poor quality. The house appetizer is mediocre, tasteless and of poor quality. I should mention the curry rice, tuna, and onion, which were inedible. It's a shame, because I'd been there several years ago, and it was a completely different story. A shame. It's now a purely touristy place.

22/08/2025: I wasn't thrilled with the dishes, they weren't of high quality, the fried food was served soaked in oil and soggy, not at all satisfied.

21/08/2025: We all ate well, the fish was good, the pasta dishes were well-prepared, and some were unique and tasted very good. The service was generally good, the girls were very kind and helpful. The only flaw was the rude waiter, who seemed pissed off because they'd mistakenly brought us an extra dish (at the counter they confirmed that the mistake was made in the kitchen, not when we ordered). He got annoyed and started asking, "So, what did you order?" Aside from that little incident, the service was excellent and the location was beautiful; we practically ate by the sea.

10/08/2025: We went to Federico's inn one evening in August. It's a truly charming and quaint place. It was a Friday night, and there was even live music. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly. We opted for vegetarian options, ordering the creamed fava bean soup and the artichoke carpaccio. Even with simple dishes like these, you could immediately see the attention to the ingredients. They were truly delicious. Simple recipes, but with great attention to detail. Compliments to the chef and the owners. Highly recommended.

10/08/2025: The food was fantastic! 👌🏻 Super quality! The pork was excellent quality and super tender, and the local orechiette was delicious. The staff were very friendly and professional. You can't leave Bari without eating here.

30/06/2025: El restaurante está situado justo enfrente del castillo en el casco antiguo de Otranto. El comedor interior es un poco estrecho, así que optamos por el Wintergarden, que ofrece un poco más de espacio. La comida está muy bien presentada y muy imaginativa. Comenzamos con anchoas adobadas servidas con achicoria y mermelada de naranja, una combinación inusual que funciona sorprendentemente bien. A continuación, tuvimos los espaguetis de erizo de mar, que era excepcional. El servicio fue impecable. Es un lugar muy conocido entre los lugareños, así que si estás planeando una visita, asegúrate de hacer una reserva, especialmente por la noche. Los precios son más altos, pero los ingredientes son increíblemente frescos y los platos absolutamente deliciosos.

25/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato in un ambiente poco confortevole ,e siamo stati un po’ isolati dalla cameriera .Sembrava quasi che la nostra presenza non era gradita .A chiudere la cena si è presentato uno grosso scarafaggio proveniente dal soffitto che girava intorno al tavolo. Il personale sembra abituato forse a scene come queste ,hanno schiacciato l’insetto e raccolto . Tutto è tornato nella normalità ,ma noi siamo andati via un po’ infastiditi ,tutto può accadere ma almeno ci aspettavamo le scuse .Sicuramente non ci torneremo. Qualità del cibo discreta per il prezzo pagato.

10/06/2025: absolut empfehlenswert. sehr guter service und überragende küche, nicht zu vergessen die erlesene weinkarte! reservierung ist empfehlenswert oder einfach früher kommen. im juni ist das für paare noch unkompliziert. der patron hat alles im griff.

05/06/2025: Excelente ubicación... justo en el agua. Delicioso pescado fresco. Pedimos la yegua Crudo. El servicio era amable. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

07/08/2025: A place with an old-world feel (and in fact, I've been going there for over forty years). Magnificent view. Classic and delicious seafood dishes. Very fast and efficient service. Reservations are not allowed, but they always try to reserve a seat for everyone. Excellent value for money.

05/08/2025: Mediocre mussels and spaghetti with clams, some with their shells and others that looked like they came from a can. No cream or parsley...strange smell. Avoid. This place caters to non-Italian tourists. The bill is steep. The photos of the dishes are almost certainly from previous management.

10/07/2025: My experience at this restaurant, like that of my husband and three other family members, was awful, to say the least! I ordered plain orecchiette with tomato sauce, but they served me orecchiette with meatballs. Since I don't eat meat, I sent them back. After just three minutes, another plate of orecchiette arrived, but they were the same ones; they had simply removed the meatballs and added lots of basil to try to cover the meaty flavor. This attempt failed miserably, as there were bits of meat left in the sauce! This isn't done like that; it's a disgrace; no one likes to be scammed. If I don't eat meat, there's a reason; you should be ashamed of yourself for what you did. In other countries, you would have been sued. I would have liked to eat something else, but the quality of the food was truly poor, meat or no meat. The fried anchovies, for example, weren't fresh, and the oil they were fried in had undoubtedly been used countless times! I hate writing negative reviews, but this time I felt compelled to.

29/06/2025: We went to this restaurant without booking, there was no room but somehow they worked out a solution and seated us. We had seafood appetizers and risotto, all very good, prices a little high even compared to our places (we are from Veneto).

12/08/2025: On Monday, August 11, 2025, in Muro Leccese, you can listen to "I Nomadi." What occasion could you have dinner and listen to the band? So, with friends, we went to the Nonna Rosa restaurant. A pleasant atmosphere with friendly waiters. We took reservations and waited for our dishes. There were 10 of us. After a wait of about 90 minutes, seven diners were served, and three still had to wait. How long? We don't know. After another 15 minutes, we tried to hurry, to no avail. After another interminable wait, they served everyone the requested first course. Surprise, about ten spaghetti dishes were slightly overcooked and battered. Probably cooked in two batches. Deplorable service; the waiters and kitchen should coordinate. Prices are those of a 4-star restaurant. Maybe because there are tourists, maybe because they want to earn in two months what they should earn in a year, but one thing is certain: Nonna Rosa won't see me again, not even if they invite me.

10/08/2025: Absolutely authentic, healthy cuisine, high quality, excellent value for money, they are very good, takeaway and sit-down options available, in the evening everything is by reservation only, outside the center but an excellent option.

07/08/2025: I've lost count of the number of times I've eaten here! Everything is delicious, I've tried everything. They cook divinely, even delicacies off the menu! I'd take Sabrina (the owner) home with me!

Poor Fish...I've been there, and I would go back to taste some very tasty dishes...very refined...based on fish......their kindness... In the gastronomic courses. 09/08/2025: Al Lido Onda Azzurra di Peschici (Baia di Manaccora) ho gustato un bel pesce alla griglia: carne tenera, sapore autentico e cottura perfetta — un piatto semplice ma memorabile.  L’ambiente è rilassato, a due passi dalla spiaggia, il personale gentile e il servizio rapido; le porzioni sono generose e il rapporto qualità–prezzo è onesto, proprio come segnalano le recensioni locali.   Se cerchi una cena di mare senza fronzoli ma curata, con vista sulla Baia e un ottimo pesce alla griglia, te lo consiglio vivamente. Gino e Nicola due persone speciali ❤️.

05/08/2025: Esperienza sempre piacevole. Titolare e personale gentilissimi, cibo freschissimo, soprattutto ottimo. Il carpaccio e la tartare di Tonno sublimi, ma anche i primi e i secondi sempre buonissimi.
