20/08/2024: The food was good, shame about the fresh orecchiette with turnip greens because they were overcooked even though the seasoning was very good. Good grilled fish. Vegetables too. They don't accept reservations and we understood why. Very fast service, even too fast to get as many people as possible to eat. Lower prices than other local restaurants. Acceptable!

17/08/2024: We had dinner practically every evening in this restaurant which has a large terrace with tables overlooking the sea of ​​Peschici. There is an amazing view when the sun sets! The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is quite varied, we tasted a bit of everything and in my opinion the broccoli and seafood should be taken, they are handmade by them. The grilled sea bream is also very good and for lovers of pizza and paposcia they have a wood oven. Average prices for the place. Definitely worth the stop

19/08/2024: Per me e mia moglie la Puglia coincide con questo ristorante. Ogni anno andiamo e troviamo sempre novità, simpatia, prodotti ottimi, serviti con maestria. Quest'anno il gelato al pane di Altamura...spettacolare, come anche il capocollo, le orecchiette o la purea di fave con la cicoria. Consigliatissimo.

09/08/2024: Despite the mixed reviews, I ignored the negative and took a chance. And what a good decision!!! Nice and close from Lecce, wonderfully quiet (Friday in August!) and without reservation a parasol with two beds available for 25 euros per day. Started with a simple lunch (panini with ham and cheese) while there were also plenty of other (hot) dishes on the menu. (We're still Dutch after all 😄) After an afternoon of sunbathing, we wanted a hot meal (too early), but the kitchen was still closed for dinner. It was then suggested that we first have a small snack from the chip shop and then join us for dinner after 8 p.m. Great plan! The snack was already tasty (fried potato in a “chips”-like way) But dinner was absolutely excellent!! The tuna in a sesame seed crust surrounded by grilled vegetables was a joy to see and very tasty! The spaghetti with clams was a surprise for me because I indicated that I did not like mussels and wanted something like tomatoes on the spaghetti. When the owner heard this, he immediately asked me if I didn't like fish at all. It was his suggestion to replace the mussels with the “vongole”. Once again I took the gamble and was once again positively surprised. Excellent beach restaurant with delicious food and very attentive and friendly staff.

30/08/2024: Iconic restaurant in Gallipoli But today he disappointed me Having ordered my favorite dish, the mussel parcel arrived lukewarm, almost cold, and in the mussels there were abundant lumps of raw breadcrumbs not mixed with the cheese sauce When pointed out to the waiter in the presence of the owner, there was no apology and no mention of replacing the dish They said it was the chef's fault but you couldn't tell him otherwise he wouldn't have cooked for a week! Sin ! Therefore it remains a trattoria with a beautiful location whose goodness of the cuisine depends on the mood of the chef!

30/08/2024: 5 stars only for Giusy for her welcome, friendliness and professionalism, the food was good but there is certainly better. The sea view is stunning. As for the owner at the checkout, she might as well smile.

08/08/2024: Excellent experience offering traditional Salento cuisine in a green and relaxing context and the possibility of staying. Recommended for families thanks to the safe spaces offered. the restaurant is excellent thanks to the expert cook and the courteous and attentive manager of the location. The menu offers a wide choice of typical dishes such as broad bean cream with chicory, Ciceri and tria, and orecchiette available in all traditional and vegetarian varieties such as meatballs and provolone podolico fondue or turnip greens. An excellent almond and fig spumone completes everything. I would say you couldn't ask for more. thanks we will be back

31/07/2024: Excellent stay at this farmhouse in July. Accommodation complete with all comforts with air conditioning and daily cleaning. Features a kitchenette and fridge. Fenestrated bathroom. The gem is the external porch which allows you to relax after returning from a day at the beach and in the evening. Structure surrounded by greenery but really just a few km from the center of Gallipoli. Strategic position to visit all of the Ionian Salento and its beautiful beaches. Even at the restaurant you can eat very well with typical products (the Calamate appetizer for two people is super). I highly recommend this property also for the staff and how they take care of their guests.

04/09/2024: Having recently returned after years to this THIEVES restaurant, I am happy to correct my review... there were 3 of us a few evenings ago (let it be clear that I only went there because I wasn't paying... 😂😂) mixed starters of which only one plate of raw and the rest cooked, second course a sea bream which we divided into three with grilled vegetables, a bottle of calafuria rosé and 3 bitters (without first course) 110 euros each!! Although the quality of the fish is excellent, it is simply a legalized theft.. avoid it, there are other excellent restaurants in the area where you can eat the same things at half the price.. they have changed management but apparently the exaggerated prices do not change. I can only understand prices like that in a place like Grotta Palazzese where you also pay for the location

We had the pleasure of celebrating the birthday of a dear friend of ours. the service was excellent, not only in managing a table of 14 people but also in organizing the bouquet and cake. Simply put, great food and superb service. Thanks again to all the staff, we will be back soon!

13/08/2024: Siamo capitati al fuori porta su consiglio di un amico milanese , e stata un esperienza bellissima lo staff e gentile competente e ti coccola per tutta la cena, spiegandoti tutti. Cibo la provenienza e ti consiglia in maniera professionale, il cibo e freschissimo di ottima qualità e l impiattantamento e raffinato e particolare.Se passate dal Salento passate da Oria perché oltre ad essere un borgo bellissimo dovete assolutamente provare il fuori porta e in esperi gustativa unica .

13/08/2024: Siamo in vacanza e ci hanno consigliato di visitare la cittadina Oria e il RISTORANTE FUORI PORTA.. conduzione familiare in cucina la mamma è una cuoca magnifica da guida michelin crea dei piatti spettacolari!!! Antipasti di crudo Si sente il sapore di mare ! La tagliatelle di seppia è una scoperta magnifica.. ostriche gamberi viola astice e dentice sono di una freschezza e di un sapore mai sentito!!! Ristornate da ritornare ... se passate di qui lo consiglio nn potete nn venire !!!!

20/07/2024: When you don't want to make mistakes and go without fail, Corte Ludovico is the right restaurant/pizzeria. Excellent pizzas, plentiful first courses and tastefully prepared second courses. A compliment to the staff, fast, professionally trained and friendly which doesn't hurt, a special mention goes to Luna, always ready to fulfill our every request. The prices are very competitive. I forgot, it's open for lunch and dinner. Highly recommended.

31/08/2024: Cercando un posto con cucina tipica abbiamo scelto questa pescheria con annessa trattoria. Ma non siamo rimasti soddisfatti. A parte il primo ditali e cozze abbondante e buono, lo spaghetto con le vongole era un po' misero di tutto. A servire sono in tanti ma tanta è la clientela. Comunque in 2 a tavola non puoi fare uscire i primi in tempi diversi. Bah. Mi ha dato la sensazione di essere molto turistico.

25/08/2024: Il ristorante ci era stato fortemente raccomandato, ma siamo rimasti abbastanza delusi. Servizio lento e approssimativo, non tutti i piatti del menù erano disponibili. Alcuni prodotti sembravano surgelati. Primi abbondanti ma nella media per qualità e gusto. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono

08/08/2024: Frittura di mare: tutta roba scongelata, si sentiva. L'abbiamo lasciata quasi tutta nel piatto. Buono il carpaccio del giorno. Spaghetti alla polpa di riccio: di polpa di riccio c'era giusto qualche traccia, complessivamente erano degli spaghetti aglio e olio mantecati con qualche addensante. La chicca è stata la fatidica carbonara di mare che, come tutti sanno, dovrebbe essere pasta con una dadolata di pesce spada invece era una normalissima (mediocre) carbonara in cui predominava il sapore del pecorino con tanto di pancetta croccante, mentre l'unica caratteristica che le conferiva il nome di carbonara DI MARE era... indovinate? Qualche pezzo, in cima al piatto, di quella frittura di pesce, forse, chissà, sottratto al piatto che poco prima avevamo fatto ritornare in cucina! Ma stiamo scherzando? Il tutto per 40 euro a testa. Ho visto che, quando le critiche sono negative, chi risponde, insinua che il cliente non abbia realmente mangiato al ristorante. Io sono appena uscita e mi sono affrettata a scrivere qui la mia insoddisfazione.

02/08/2024: Luogo accogliente ed elegante ed equilibrato . Personale professionalmente preparato e dai modi squisitamente cordiali. Cucina di alto livello, con specialità di pesce ottime . Varia e scelta con competenza la carta dei vini. Continuate così.

19/08/2024: Disappointing experience at this restaurant. The first courses were too salty. The second course, swordfish, consisted of two small tasteless rolls. The sea bass was good (paid one euro more than the menu price). The wine in a carafe, the only alternative on the menu, was of very low quality, only to later discover that the only bottles were kept in the fridge, but not listed on the menu. The service was just sufficient, present but lacking in sympathy. Furthermore, they forgot to bring us the side dish, an oversight that reflects the low level of customer care. Finally, we had to eat with 3 people's cigarette smoke. While smoking was probably allowed there, it was definitely not pleasant. Low prices for a fish restaurant. Overall, a negative experience which leads me to advise against this place.

27/06/2024: The soul food of Pozzallo has a pleasant appearance with a mere view. We ordered two spaghetti with seafood and a plate of chips, 2 0.5 liter waters. The dishes are good-looking and of sufficient quantity, the chips very generous and well fried with ketchup and mayonnaise. Total expense €37.50, recommended rating 8/10.
