28/05/2025: Posto sul mare, molto bello, pulito, bagni ben tenuti, puliti e profumati. Personale di sala garbato, lista dei vini soddisfacente.Qualche appunto: il vino rosato ordinato era caldo, poi il cameriere ha aggiunto nel cestello del ghiaccio ,sale e aqua per refrigerare, ed è migliorato. I primi erano buoni, ottimo il risotto. I secondi maluccio: i gamberi al sale immangiabili perché il sale non si era compattato in crosta, o perché non è stato usato il bianco d'uovo o è stata usata molta acqua nel composto , per cui c'era una grande quantità di sale sparsa nel piatto. Avevamo ordinato del pesce spada con capperi ed olive e ci è stato portato un altro secondo; alle nostra rimostranza ci è stato sostituito con pesce spada gigliato...la frittura era buona, solo un po' monocorde, costituita da merluzzetti, probabilmente perché pescato fresco . Conto corretto.

25/05/2025: Spesso si scrivono recensioni dettate da momenti di frustrazione personale o da qualche disappunto sul servizio o gusti poco graditi. Dovremmo sempre ricordare che in ogni caso e per ogni volta che si va a mangiare in un ristorante, c’è sempre qualcuno che suda per farci stare seduti a mangiare. Pizza buona e che invoglia ad essere consumata tutta. Sì sente che viene cotta nel forno a legna. Un appunto felice sarebbe da fare alla ragazza che ci ha servito, Veronica che con la sua simpatia ha fatto passare in secondo piano il fatto che la mia pizza sia arrivata con un bel po’ di ritardo rispetto agli altri commensali. Nonostante questo piccolo inconveniente, abbiamo trascorso una bella serata. Riguardo alla location, aggiusterei la seconda sala che rispetto alla prima sembra di essere in un altro posto. Il conto è giusto per quello che abbiamo ordinato.

06/05/2025: The food very good..... For what was there we asked for various dishes but none were available. So I say warn before ordering that certain dishes are sold out. Wine list. Ok let's choose a wine, another one will arrive. Sent back. We ask for a finished prosecco too and opt for another. Once dinner was over we were running out of prosecco. The waiter arrives probably around 11.20pm... He takes away the bucket of prosecco..... It wasn't finished.... Without asking I can take it away. Okay, in the end we pay. To apologize for all the shortcomings they offered us a coffee and half a grappa

11/09/2024: Takeaway lunch here in September. Exceptional quality, slightly limited variety in the period, but certainly at full capacity in July and August, it will be able to satisfy all palates. Clearly artisanal and freshly prepared, you won't be disappointed! An inevitable stop if you are in Gallipoli.

10/05/2025: Jesus Christ ALWAYS A GUARANTEE. One of the best places to eat fish in Taranto. Pasquale and Alessandro and all the staff are very kind people. I have been to their place with friends many times. At Jesus Christ with their fixed menu you can eat as much as you like but above all everything is of super abundant quality and quantity. I highly recommend going there and tasting their appetizers, my favorites are the grilled mussels. Even the first courses are delicious, they always recommend the catch of the day. As second courses they almost always present salted fish or fried paranza or in any case of your choice. Everything is always perfect. I will continue to be their supporter, but above all I want to compliment their really good homemade tiramisu. It therefore deserves 5 stars.

27/05/2025: Some friends who stayed in Salento before us recommended this place to us, and I must say that the experience was excellent!! You can see the care in the choice of dishes and the combination of ingredients that was definitely studied, nothing improvised. The plating is so refined that it looks like a painting! The service was really attentive, the guys were kind and present without ever being intrusive, making us feel at ease throughout the evening. A place that I recommend for a nice dinner in the beautiful Otranto.

12/05/2025: Total disappointment on a special day Last Sunday, on the occasion of Mother's Day, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant in San Vito (Taranto), on the advice of a friend of my father. The initial enthusiasm was high: the place, renovated compared to the photos online, had made a good impression on us and meeting one of the waiters seemed like a positive sign. Unfortunately, the illusion did not last long. The appetizers were anonymous, devoid of any connection with the Taranto tradition: tasteless fried foods, an octopus salad drowned in giardiniera, rubbery rice and some truly unappealing stuffed mussels. We hoped that the first courses would save the day. There were five of us and we ordered: a seafood risotto, a linguine with mussels and two calamarate allo scoglio. The risotto arrived after about 30 minutes, then - after an hour - a single linguine, but with clams (not with mussels, as ordered). After another 40 minutes, a waiter came to tell us that the calamarata would still need at least 20 minutes. At that point, I asked for the bill, exasperated. As if that wasn't enough, we were served two samples of calamarata... actually intended for another table! The staff passed the buck, someone lightly asked "Who took the order?", while the waiter assigned to us, visibly in difficulty, continued to say "I'm putting my face on the line". The result: a ruined Sunday. On a special occasion like Mother's Day, we felt ignored and made fun of. This is not just a problem with the kitchen, but with respect for customers. I hope it was an isolated case, but on our part, we will never return.

The presentation was impeccable and the service was attentive and professional. Each dish was a work of art, an explosion of flavors and colors that made me feel like I was in heaven. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food and wants to have an unforgettable gastronomic experience. 5 stars! Well done!!!❤ Advice: more attention from the waiters when taking the order and perhaps hiring staff to optimize the quality of service. Anyway great, you will see us again soon!

And so it was... an array of appetizers, land and sea, hot and cold... so much so that I no longer needed to order anything else. They are not your usual starters, but are of a much higher standard.
