05/01/2026: I went to this salad bar for a quick lunch, but it was a nightmare. I waited 30 minutes for a simple salad. The staff was in complete chaos and even forgot the dressing I'd asked for. If you're short on time, definitely avoid this place.

03/01/2026: We went to the lakeside La Vita è Bella salad bar. We paid €4 for two covers and had a baked potato (€5.50), water (€0.75) (€2.50), two seafood soups (€36.00), and a glass of Traminer (€6.00). The menu is truly extensive (as you'd expect from a salad bar), but we opted for the seafood soups. They were delicious and so delicious that we asked for bread three times to mop up the soup. The quality of the produce was excellent. The service was also a great plus: the waiter, with his light eyes and ponytail, was kind, smiling, and helpful. Plus, something not to be taken for granted in the area: the prices, compared to many menus we've seen in Como, are significantly more affordable, especially considering the quality. Recommended, especially if you're looking for a quiet lunch overlooking the lake with good-quality produce.

03/11/2025: Absolutely 5 stars! We celebrated with a fantastic birthday lunch at Ristorante Al Piave. The food was delicious and the atmosphere welcoming, but the real difference was Mr. Marco's exquisite hospitality. He was incredibly kind and attentive, meeting our every need with professionalism and a smile, helping make the day truly special. We'll definitely be back!

01/02/2026: I haven't been to this pizzeria in twenty years. The place has been partially renovated, although the front room has plastic outdoor chairs, evidently used in the summer for outdoor dining. The crust is not very salty but overall adequate, the desserts are overpriced, and above all, the €3 cover charge is unjustified, considering there's no bread or breadsticks at the table. Hectic service to keep tables moving.

11/01/2026: OUT OF THE BOX PRICES... it wants to be a nouvelle cousin.... large plates with little inside, hot appetizers all with breadcrumbs parsley and garlic sauce.... all the same flavor..... pot of hot clams always with parsley/garlic.... fried calamari spillo.... few, hard but no calamari flavor.... + 1 COFFEE 3 GLASSES OF WINE AND 2 BOTTLES OF WATER.... paid €180.00 VERY EXPENSIVE, NEVER AGAIN.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND

09/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant a few years ago, a bit by chance, what can I say...unmissable, we come from Rome specifically to taste Maurizio's unique and inimitable dishes, a special appreciation to all his staff who always welcome you with love and passion, my wife is celiac and finally in this restaurant it is not a discrimination, don't miss the Malaga ice cream. 06/01/2026: We went on December 31st for the first time. The atmosphere was beautiful and refined, considering it's the oldest tavern in Salò. The dishes ordered were of good quality and presentation, both the first and second courses. The table service, handled by the young waitress, was appreciated, while the other part of the service, managed by an older person, was rather sketchy. The first time, the lady served the apple pie using her hands, while she was at the cash register beforehand. Finally, the older colleague, while serving some English dishes, dropped the dessert knife without changing it, but continued cutting the portions as requested by the neighboring diners. The restaurant is very refined and well-kept, and the decor and table setting are commendable. It's a shame about the table management, because the less experienced waitress behaved professionally, while the others, as mentioned, left much to be desired. This does not mean, however, that we will not return to eat there because, in this context, it deserved our attention, and we will be ready to review the work on the next occasion.

06/01/2026: We chose to spend New Year's Eve at the osteria, and despite the busy evening, with the place packed, we were treated to a truly memorable experience. The food was truly experiential and excellent in every way. It was brilliant to offer cheese as a dessert; it took me back in time. The wine list was also fantastic. All this made us say, "We'll definitely be back!" Thanks again for making our special evening even more special.
